Point Guard/ Shooting Guard

Coby White FD - $7600 DK - $7500
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 40.9 DK - 45.15

Alex Caruso FD - $6200 DK - $5300
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 34.34 DK - 34.85

The Bulls are in a good spot on Monday, facing off against the Atlanta Hawks who come in with the second-worst defensive efficiency in the league. They stink, and we are often targeting opposing offenses against them, even on big slates.

That works here, with Coby White and Alex Caruson ringing in as the cash game plays. White is a candidate to play close to 40 minutes in close games, and he’s averaging 23 points, 6.5 assists, and five rebounds over the last four.

Meanwhile, the biggest encouraging sign for Alex Caruso is the minutes are more consistently hitting in the mid-30s, which is what he needs to make a safe play. The middle-tier pricing mostly works, but because the usage rate is so low, he needs to be out there enough to fill in the stats across the board. In a fast-paced, low-defense game, that should work out in his favor.

Immanuel Quickley FD - $7000 DK - $6900
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 36.98 DK - 40.43

Immanuel Quickley spiked 38 minutes two games ago against the Houston Rockets, an encouraging sign if the Raptors are going to play in non-blowouts. He scored 25 points 9-19 shooting in that one. The usage can come and go in this new role, but on Monday, he’s gifted with playing the Spurs, who rank 25th on defense and run the fifth-fastest pace. That’s a nice meeting spot for him to get up a lot of shots.

Tre Mann FD - $6000 DK - $4600
Opponent - IND
Proj Pts FD - 30.95 DK - 34.78

Tre Mann got the start for the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday in his first game with the new team following the trade deadline. It worked out with Mann scoring nine points, tallying nine assists, and running 27 minutes when it was all said and done. I think this role is secure going forward as long as LaMelo Ball is out of the lineup (which he is tonight). And the DraftKings price hasn’t adjusted to this new playing time. He even ran a bit badly from the field, so I think there’s room for growth in the scoring.

Small Forward

DeMar DeRozan FD - $8100 DK - $7600
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 46.71 DK - 48.11

Again, the Bulls are in a great spot here against the Hawks, whose defense stinks and pace is lightning quick (3rd fastest in the league). In close games, DeMar DeRozan is a near-lock for 40 minutes of action, giving him an incredibly high floor night in and night out. Over his last four games, DDR has averaged 29 points and 5.5 rebounds while also getting some steals in there. The price on both sites is much too low for the minutes and matchup.

Scottie Barnes FD - $8700 DK - $8500
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 47.98 DK - 50.37

The Raptors have a new look team after the trade deadline, but Scottie Barnes has been able to keep up a pretty elite level of production. He triple-doubled last game with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, while coming close the game before as well. He doesn’t have tremendous usage, but he’s been efficient from the field while also contributing across the stat line. In this matchup against the Spurs, he’s a great cash game play without breaking the bank into the upper salary tier.

Power Forward/ Center

Jaren Jackson Jr. FD - $8900 DK - $8300
Opponent - NO
Proj Pts FD - 48.15 DK - 49.91

With basically the entire original Grizzlies starting five injured, Jaren Jackson Jr. has become the star of the team and their leading shot creator (and taker) on offense. Over his last four games, JJJ has averaged 22.3 shots from the field while taking 8.5 threes per outing as well. These are crazy numbers, and he’s putting up crazy stats. The threes are going down in the short term (38%), and he’s scoring a ton. The price hasn’t caught up with the way Memphis is now relying on him for their offense. He was chalk last slate and could be again tonight.

Nikola Vucevic FD - $8500 DK - $7900
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 45.61 DK - 48.3

Might as well get in on all the Bulls we can here. Not many centers play the kind of minutes Nikola Vucevic runs on a near-nightly basis, and few are consistent as the big guy either. On the season, he’s averaging right around 18 points and 11 rebounds while dishing out 3.5 assists. He isn’t a sexy play, but this dude, by and large, gets the job done. The DraftKings price makes things pretty easy with the matchup and game total.

If Alperen Sengun is out again, then Jabari Smith Jr. (FD 6800 DK 6000) and Jeff Green (FD 4600 DK 4300) would be top cash game plays again. Consider Santi Aldama (FD 5600 DK 5500) at these prices as well.
