Point Guard/ Shooting Guard

Luka Doncic FD - $12700 DK - $12200
Opponent - IND
Proj Pts FD - 65.25 DK - 71.1

Luka Doncic is one of those near-matchup-proof guys on any given night, and the price reflects it. Basically, we are going to have to pay up in a big way to roster him. But on nights like this, it’s more than worth it. He’s facing off against the Pacers who own the 25ht-ranked defense and run the fastest pace in the league.

Luka is averaging 34.5 points, 9.7 assists, and 8.9 rebounds on the season, and he’s somehow topped those averages over the last month or so. It’s really something to behold. As long as the game stays relatively close, he should see minutes close to 40 and the floor is tough to beat. Plus, on this slate, there should be plenty of ways to save salary.

Tre Mann FD - $5800 DK - $5700
Opponent - ORL
Proj Pts FD - 30.78 DK - 33.43

Vasilije Micic FD - $4800 DK - $5000
Opponent - ORL
Proj Pts FD - 25.96 DK - 28.92

The Charlotte Hornets are still without LaMelo Ball, and now they are missing Cody Martin and Seth Curry as well. Vasilije Micic moved into the starting lineup against the Raptors, playing 35 minutes and finishing with 12 point, six assists, two rebounds, and two steals. For the minutes, it was a bit of an underwhelming performance, and he got off to a really slow start. But I don’t mind going back to him as a play here at these price points.

Meanwhile, Tre Mann is locked into the starting lineup with the prices sitting in the mid0-$5K range on both sites. His usage is pretty low with this group, though he’s been able to add numbers around the rest of the stat line to keep the floor high enough. The run should be there again even if this isn’t the best matchup on the board.

If Jalen Brunson is out then Miles McBride (FD 5700 DK 5500) would jump up the top of the value chart.

Small Forward

Josh Hart FD - $8100 DK - $7900
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 35.06 DK - 38

Almost no one in the NBA plays more minutes than Josh Hart who has run a crazy 43.3 per game over the last six, all regulation affairs. You simply don’t see that in the modern NBA, and he’s getting fully Thibs-ed right now. Add in that Jalen Brunson is questionable, plus the matchup against the Hawks, and you have an incredibly safe play here with Hart. He as 19 and 18 rebounds respectively in the last two games and the scoring has been there as well. Simply put, this guy has become one of the better fantasy options around and the price hasn’t caught up.

Donte DiVincenzo FD - $7900 DK - $7800
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 36.48 DK - 39.12

Along with Josh Hart, Donte DiVincenzo has seen a massive fantasy uptick this season, and especially of late. He’s coming off playing 39 minutes against the Cavaliers, taking 22 shots and finishing with 28 points, six rebounds, and four assists. The usage has been awesome, jacking up more than 20 shots a game in the short-term. The Hawks are a great fantasy matchup and he could see even more opprortunity if Jalen Brunson were to sit this one out.

Ochai Agbaji FD - $4100 DK - $4800
Opponent - NO
Proj Pts FD - 21.05 DK - 21.59

The Toronto Raptors are without Scottie Barnes likely for the rest of the season and now Jakob Poeltl and Bruce Brown will miss this game as well. Ochai Agbaji got the start for Barnes last game, playing 33 minutes in total. He finished with 13 points, nine rebounds, and a couple of blocks. The price hasn’t moved enough considering the new starting opportunity, and if anything he could see more minutes here because of the Raptors injuries.

Power Forward/ Center

Kelly Olynyk FD - $5800 DK - $6300
Opponent - NO
Proj Pts FD - 37.28 DK - 40.35

Kelly Olynyk was a chalkier play last time around because of Scottie Barnes’ absence. The former didn’t end up starting, but he likely will here because of Jakob Poeltl’s injury. Olynyk was underwhelming last game, finishing with just a 4/4/4 line 26 minutes, though he did add four (that’s the theme) blocks+steals. The scoring and rebounding were at the extreme low side of the expectation and I expect a full bounce back game in this one.

Alperen Sengün FD - $8200 DK - $8200
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 47.58 DK - 50.17

The Rockets get a great matchup against the Spurs on Tuesday, and things could look even better for Alperen Sengun if Victor Wembanyama were to sit this one out. The latter is currently questionable. Sengun has double-doubled in four of his last five games and if the game is closer the minutes should press into the mid-30s. He’s a very good DraftKings play at these prices and could have a lot of ownership there on Tuesday.

Strongly consider Zach Collins (FD 6500 DK 4500) on DraftKings if Wembanyama misses this game. Collins would likely draw the start.
