Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 4/24/17 We've already ended one first round series with the Cavs finishing off the Pacers yesterday and we could see the Warriors wrap things up tonight. But the NBA playoff train rolls on and we definitely have some interesting ways to take things with this three game slate. Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors With the series knotted at 2-2 the series heads back to Toronto for game five. After the Raptors punted Game 3 losing by thirty in a game that they didn’t appear to even leave the locker room for, they came back and won Game 4. Credit Dwane Casey who made a rather radical starting lineup pivot last game in taking Jonas Valanciunas in a bid to go super small and fast with Norman Powell at the three, Carroll at the four and Ibaka at the five. It was a bold move with Powell playing a ton of minutes and very strong defense. Prices haven’t really corrected on him and he’s a borderline must play in cash games if the Raptors keep the same starting lineup. The other key for the Raptors in Game 4 was Demar Derozan finding his form again going 12-22 from the field and finishing with a 33/9/5 line along with 4 steals. I think that’s of course the upper end of what we can expect from him, but he’s a strong play again tonight. The Bucks couldn’t hit anything from beyond the arc last game going only 24% from three on 21 looks. They’ll of course need to do better in Game 5 to have a shot at retaking the lead in the series. Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled with turnovers last game, giving up seven in 42 minutes. He’s had a decent series, but will have to limit mistakes here and it could be an issue with the Raptors choosing to go smaller. I still see Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon as something of values for the Bucks though the latter saw drastically reduced minutes in Game 4. Middleton’s price has come up as well and he’s very scoring dependent to hit his mark. I suspect we’ll be looking away from the Bucks (in general) on this slate. Washington Wizards at Atlanta Hawks Somewhat randomly, the Hawks blew out the Wiz in...

DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Monday 3/6/17 DFSR’s Doug Norrie returns to the podcast to discuss a huge Monday in the NBA. There are 12 games on the slate and it’s already looking like value all around for both FanDuel and DraftKings. He goes game-by-game discussing the different cash options and how some injury pieces will possibly effect the value in different players. Some of the more interesting games include the Knicks and Magic with the latter finally seeing more consistent minutes from their starters. Vucevic sitting again would also open the door for Bismarck Biyombo to put up major minutes on the very cheap. Another game to target is the 76ers and Bucks with guys like Dario Saric, Richaun Holmes, Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon looking like values. Finally, the Rockets and Spurs should be a fun one to watch and we could see big minutes out of Kawhi, Harden, Aldridge and Gasol to name a few. All of that and more for a full Wednesday in the NBA. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $12800 DK - $12700 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 59.88 DK - 63.75 On a slate where OKC plays it's familiar territory for me to tell you that Westbrook projects as our top scoring option of the night. He's definitely a viable option to anchor your cash line-ups but the upward trending price has to make you wonder if that is truly the optimal way to go. I'm not saying it is or it isn't, depending on if enough value opens up; all I'm saying is that you might be able to squeak out a few more points salary-wise by putting in two mid-tier options. Well, enough with that. Russell needs no introduction even my mom is aware that he is having an unprecedented and groundbreaking year. He's scored 67, 73 and 81 points in his last 3 match-ups and it's highly probable he reaches those thresholds once again. The match-up is fairly neutral as Boston ranks 15th against point guards. Just be aware that on a 14 game slate nobody is definitively a must play and even though Westy is going to  put up some digits, be cognizant of the other available options. Goran Dragic FD - $7500 DK - $7400 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 38.09 DK - 40.63 The man with the magic, Goran Dragic! Playing nowadays with a chip on his shoulder it seems. I'm pretty sure I just saw him try to trip someone in a game the other day. Well let's get down to brass tacks. Dragic is squaring up with Jrue Holiday and the Pels who just got ran through by Westbrook and company and rank 18th against the PG position. In a match-up I consider respectively neutral expect Dragic to stay the course and keep putting up the stat-lines needed for the Heat to be competitive. The last 5 games he's returned value on his salary 5.7x averaging 41 fantasy points a game. In a competitive game environment we should certainly see the man Goran hanging around that 40 fp marker. Isaiah Thomas FD - $8200 DK - $7900 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 40.82 DK - 43.4 Thomas vs. Westy showdown! This should be a...
