Draftster has a ton of cool stuff going on Now including the Terrell Owens $2500 Challenge and a whole host of Freerolls   Quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers -$8000 Not exactly hopping out on a limb here with Rodgers, but on a short slate that's totally fine. Chalky-chalk is sometimes the way to go and when the options are limited choosing safety is perfectly acceptable even if the points/$ don't exactly crush it out of the box. Rodgers is facing a Bears team ranked in the bottom third in the league against the pass. The Packers are featuring a number of different weapons in the passing game, especially with the emergence of DaVante Adams. The over under on this game is the highest of the week and I'm happy to get extra money in on the guy if it's going to be a shootout. I don't need to quote stats for you here. Rodgers is among the elite quarterbacks in the league in a game that should be high-scoring. Do it. Colin Kaepernick - $6600 If you played him last week and got burned rest assured you weren't alone. He's been disappointing relative to projection and our system has been wrong on the guy. But I'm in the firm camp that some of this is a little run bad, especially when it comes to his rushing touchdowns. If you believe that a scrambling and mobile quarterback like Kaep won't run his way into the end zone, then you should stay away. But if you believe there is some regression coming with the rushing TDS, then he could crush these prices. The Saints allow the 27th most passing yards per game so he...

This piece will examine some Draftster-specific value as this site tends to quickly adjust prices quickly and severely. This is great news for you as identifying players who are priced as punts is a money-making venture for you. Here we go. Quarterbacks Robert Griffin III - $3100 Because Draftster price-corrects pretty quickly you have a great scenario here. Griffin is coming back to start this week and is coming at the minimum price. That's almost too good to pass up. Even if you think he is playing at say, 75%, you are getting a dynamic quarterback with a live arm leading the offense at a punt price. I'm actually hesitant to really recommend anyone else just because this allows you significant upside with almost no downside. If just has an average game you still hit value. In the game before he was injured Griffin threw for 267 yards. No touchdowns, but that could be some run bad. I doubt he gets out into the open field too much coming back from injury, but I really can't express how great of a value this is here. Take advantage. These are the situations we wait for in DFS. Consider this: He's the cheapest quarterback on the board and 66% less than the top plays for the week. Is he 66% worse than those guys? No chance. Quick note: This is also did me a huge favor because I was really struggling with QB this week here Consider Ryan Fitzpatrick but not really, because you should just be playing RGIII.   Running Backs Marshawn Lynch - $7300 Because you are getting money in great at RGIII at QB you can afford to spend...

Now go get that deposit bonus and enter to win a Tesla!   QB Touchdowns Andrew Luck No doubt that he's turing in a season to remember, and it's only six weeks in. Luck continues to dominate on the offensive side of the ball and faces a Cincy squad ranked 22nd in the league against the pass, allowing more than 250 yards/ game through the air. Luck is working with a number of different weapons, and he has by far the most attempts for a quarterback in the red zone this season with 48. (The next highest is Cutler with 37.) Getting that kind of opportunity in close is exactly what we are looking for in ScoreStreak where opportunity trumps almost every other piece of the decision making pie considering we aren't working at all with salaries. Very much a chalk play, but with good reason. Aaron Rodgers It's close for me between he and Peyton, and honestly I'm not really going out on a limb with either one. But if most things are about equal then I'll take the Rodgers for a couple of reasons. He has the far better matchup against the Panthers who rank 26th in the league in passing defense. Rodgers might not see the overall volume of Manning, but I trust him to throw a little more in the red zone because the Packers just have no real threat in the ground game whereas Ronnie Hillman could prove to be somewhat of an answer for the Broncos. That could look bad for me later, but I just suspect Rodgers' will see an uptick in his 57% completion percentage in the red zone and collect an extra TD this week.   All purpose yards Demarco Murray Hitting close to 160 all purpose yards is no easy feat for someone not involved in the special teams return game (though...

Daily fantasy football picks for Week 6 - DraftKings DFSR is excited to bring you Bryce McVay. Dude knows his stuff and he'll be bringing you picks specifically for DraftKings with an emphasis on that site's scoring system and value. We are pumped to have a great new voice in the DFS landscape. Ready to make the leap and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks? Want picks for FanDuel, Draftster, and Draftday as well? Check em out. “44 ladies that’s me!! WOOOOOOOO Gonna’ get some cold cuts today!” (Geico Commercial gets me every time). I can only imagine the celebration Ickey Woods would be doing if he were in our position. 24 hours from the second installment of the DraftKings Millionaire Maker. I can hardly contain myself! I will admit, when watching the games on Sunday, my go-to celebration dance is not the Ickey Woods shuffle, but the Victor Cruz salsa (this goes way back to my first year of playing daily fantasy, Ramsey you know what’s up). I promised myself I wouldn’t write a giant introduction discussing strategies or the current events of the daily fantasy world and for once, I am going to keep that promise. Without further ado, here are my DraftKings week 6 daily fantasy picks (P.S. I already wrote my Thursday strategy piece and it’s a good one; so if you like my ramblings then make sure to check it out next week).   Week 6 Picks: Redemption – Take Two of the Millionaire Maker   Quarterbacks Matt Ryan $DK 8,600 I refuse to give Peyton Manning DK $9,400 his own paragraph…so I’ll just write about him under Matt Ryan’s header. Manning is the most expensive QB (again) by $400 and rightfully so. A Great matchup and essentially no running game to take away from his stat line. If you can fit his enormous salary in your lineup then I’m not going to fault you. With that said, I think Matt Ryan has an an equally good situation and is $800 less than Peyton. In Ryan’s home games this year, he is averaging 367 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Guess where this week’s game is? Matty Ice takes on a middle of the road defense in the Chicago Bears where the Falcons are 3 point favorites with an over/under of 55! Vegas expects the Falcons to put up 29 points and...

Daily Fantasy Football Picks Week 4 – ScoreStreak

Now go win that Tesla!   QB Touchdowns Drew Brees Hey guys! It's me, James again. You know, the guy who has recommended Brees in the top QB slot every single week so far this season. The good news has been that not many people have had 4 TDs in a game this year, and you haven't gotten burnt too badly. Right? RIGHT? Okay, I'm apologizing on Brees' behalf. But still! The match-up this week is as good as ever. Dallas was horrid against the pass last year, and may have gotten worse. HOLD, Brees owners.. HOLD! Matt Ryan I am a fan of one Matthew Ice Ryan this week against the Minnesota Vikings, for much the same reason I liked Brees last week. While Brees didn't deliver, Ryan has actually looked awesome this year, and the Falcons have shown no modesty around going for the jugular when up a ton. I think Matt Ryan puts up a great touch down number this week.   All purpose yards Matt Forte You can't feel great about Forte's ineffectiveness in the running game, but his 7 receptions per game leave him as likely a candidate as anyone to put up a huge all purpose yard game on any given day. On a day where a lot of studs are sitting, Forte makes a very interesting play. Demarco Murray Murray has been touching the ball an unreal 27 times per game this year, and the Saints haven't exactly been the 85 Bears when it comes to defending the run. The Cowboys seemed determined to get Murray his run, which is really all you can realistically hope for in a play like this: the opportunity.   Receptions Jimmy Graham The clock is ticking on Graham and Brees as the premier...
