Cheat sheets for fantasy college football on FanDuel and Draftkings

Listen - it'd be impossible to create a whole projection system for college football, but Casey is willing to sell his cash game lineups through DFSR.

If you want to see how these plays and some others fit into lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings you can purchase three FanDuel lineups, three DraftKings lineups and a DraftKings mini-cheatsheet for $3 by clicking the PayPal button below.

Casey's weekend picks hit at about a 75% rate in cash games with a couple cashing in GPPs. Quick note - these lineups are separate from our normal premium service because they are Casey's compensation for generously writing these articles.

Quarterbacks

Two quick notes on QB:
- Davis Webb is obviously a strong choice most nights and this Thursday is no different. I’m personally choosing to allocate my money elsewhere and will be fading Davis on both sites. If you choose to play him, as many will I see the merit. Just not the direction I'm going.
- If Brett Hundley sits then Jerry Neuheisel becomes a great option on Draft Kings. He is not discounted enough on Fanduel for my liking.

Kevin Ellison - FD 6600 DK 6600
I’ll put it to you like this: If you can’t spot the sucker than you’re the sucker. If you don’t have Ellison in your cash lineups, well, you’re the sucker. I’m not sure he makes a strong tournament play, but K-Sizzle is about as good as it gets for cash games. Prolific passer he is not, but dangerous enough with his feet to create serious containment issues for opposing defenses and raise his fantasy floor. Ellison averages almost 90yds rushing per game or the points equivalent of two passing TD’s. Considering his price and your other choices at QB, I’d say Ellison is about as safe as it gets.

Running Backs

D.J. Foster - FD 11000 DK 9600
Foster is super expensive, but there are two reasons I’m not fading Foster like Davis Webb. In general the QB position is easier to find cheaper options that still offer safety/value. The other reason, Foster is arguably the best fantasy option in the country. He has point totals (DK scoring) of 42, 39 and 39 this season. UCLA may be the Sun Devils' toughest task yet so we’ll see if DJ can continue his ridiculously awesome fantasy production, but the guy averages 40pts per game. You simply can’t miss out on that kind of production on short nights. Take the home Devil.

Paul Perkins - FD 8500 DK 5800
Brett Hundley is questionable and sometimes when you lose a guy like that it can have a negative ripple effect, but I’m not sold this is one of those times. Perkins has quietly been pretty solid this year and did just fine once Hundley left last game. ASU hasn’t proven it can shut anyone down and UCLA still has enough athletes to play a tough game with or without their stud QB. The Bruins are going to lean on Perkins either way so I feel good hitching my wagon to him myself.

Wide Receivers

Jakeem Grant - FD 7800 DK 5500
Bradley Marquez - FD 6800 DK 5900
I get really excited when Texas Tech or Washington State play because their receivers typically make strong value plays. Tech runs the ball a smidge more than Washington State, but not to the point where it affects their top pass catchers. Marquez and Grant should be busy wire-to-wire when they travel to Boone Pickens Stadium to take on Okie-Dokies. One of the highest point totals on the night and Tech is a two touchdown dog. So we have a passing team that is projected to be playing catch up most of the game. Reginald Davis is the 3rd option in Tech’s arsenal and makes a solid punt option.

Tight Ends

Barrett Burns - FD 3000 DK 2500
The good news, Burns is far and away the best TE option on the board. I absolutely LOVE when there is a clear choice at a position, especially the TE position. The bad news, Burns has 5 receptions for 54yds and a touch. Yup it’s that bad.
