Fanduel and DraftKings College Football Cheatsheets

Listen - it'd be nearly impossible to create a whole projection system for college football, but Casey is willing to sell his cash game lineups through DFSR.

If you want to see how these plays and some others fit into cash game lineups for Saturday 12/6/14 FanDuel and DraftKings you can purchase a CFB pack that includes three FanDuel lineups, three DraftKings lineups, and a cheatsheet with analysis on a variety of other plays for $5 by clicking the PayPal button below. Quarterbacks

Trevone Boykin - FD 10200 DK 9400
Boykin hasn’t delivered the monster games he's capable of over the past couple weeks and even had a real clunker (relatively speaking) against lowly Kansas scoring less than 20 fantasy points. Well, the CFB playoff format is here and it’s very real. At the moment Boykin and TCU sit as the 3rd ranked team in the playoff race. It seems to be a flimsy ranking because the team that gave them their only loss, Baylor, is currently sitting at 6th with the same record. There has been a fair amount of criticism surrounding the current rankings. FSU (the only undefeated team) is the 4th playoff team and Baylor is left out when they beat TCU. So what does all this mean? What it means to me is you won't get a lackluster performance from TCU or Boykin this week when they take on the Cyclones from Iowa St. If TCU struggles and Baylor or Ohio State looks real good, it could be enough to sway the committee. Iowa St. is not great on defense and ,honestly, doesn’t really have much of a chance to stop TCU if things are clicking, but they do have enough offense to keep the game reasonably close, or at least until late in the game. I’m not totally in love with Boykin as a value play, but relative to the field I like his safety in a pretty nice matchup.

Grant Hedrick - FD 9100 DK 8600
Man I wish his price was just smidge lower, but I can't seem to shake the excitement of the matchup. Fresno St. is something terrible on defense, both against the pass and the run. Grant is capable of huge games when things are clicking and he is making more plays with his feet. He isn't exactly a dual-threat quarterback, as he generally only runs only when he has too or when the middle is left wide open. Given Fresno's abysmal ranking on defense (116th against the pass and 103rd against the run) there should be plenty of space for Hedrick to find his receivers. The only rub on Hedrick is the touchdown machine that lines up behind him, Jay Ajayi. Hedrick becomes very safe when paired with Ajayi because if the touchdown split is unbalanced it's safe to say it will be Ajayi hogging all the scores. The same goes for Ajayi, but he has a higher floor. It's very plausible that Hedrick runs or throws for most of the scores and if you play Ajayi you could be out some big dollars on a guy who misses the mark. It is one thing to miss on a punt option, but it’s a whole other can of worms when you miss on a big ticket guy. I’m pairing these two guys together not only because I believe they offer safety for your cash games, but also because they have such a juicy matchup I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they both crush their number. Here's hoping Fresno can put some points on the board to keep Boise pushing the tempo.

Tim Boyle - FD 5000 DK 4400
In the spirit of keeping things consistent I will once again bring you a lower level quarterback option that can provide you just enough safety to be used in cash games. Again, the main value with guys like this is not about what you will get out of them, but what you will get from the "better" players you are able to land by saving your dollars. I wouldn’t expect big things from Boyle, as he is young and is only starting so the Huskies can see what they have in their future signal caller. He wasn’t great in his first start against Memphis going 12 for 24 with one TD and one INT. Memphis ranks 10th against the pass and SMU ranks 125th. It’s not often you can say 124 teams are better than you at something, but yup, SMU can say that. 124 teams defend the pass better than them. Boyle, he's young, he's inexperienced, he's super cheap, and he has a great matchup at home. And just so you know I'm not just throwing a scrub against the wall and hoping he sticks ill play a little game with you. Challenge me to a H2H contest on Draftkings (cascarruthers) and I will use Boyle as one of my QB options. Keep the entry fees low fellas, I got too many kids to feed.
Consider; Greg Ward Jr., Jake Waters

Running Back

Aaron Green - FD 7500 DK 6300
Finally the fantasy gods have shown their mercy and have sent CFB blessings down from heaven. We actually have ahead of time news that BJ Catalon will once again be on the sideline watching as his fellow mate, Green, thunders over Iowa St. Green is my favorite value running back on the board. He has been pretty much awesome in Catalon’s absence and gets a juicy matchup to finish out the year. As the starter, Green has rushed for over 100 yards and or scored in every game. This week should be no different and I fully expect Green to accomplish both marquee feats of any running back. My prediction is 147 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns. Mark it down, tattoo it on your arm or do whatever you have to do to remember to put Green in every cash lineup you run. I know I will.

Jay Ajayi - FD 10600 DK 9700
I’m gushing, I truly am. The only reason Ajayi is not atop this list is his price. It’s steep, real steep. This matchup is sexier than Tom Brady in his Uggs and the way Ajayi has been playing, sigh, yeah you just gotta do it. It’s basically like you’re locking up 40 fantasy points by taking Ajayi. You can safely consider him the equivalent to Brow for CFB. His price his super high, but he just keeps paying it. Ajayi has scored three or more touchdowns in four consecutive games and you will have to all the way back to week 5 to where he scored less than two touchdowns. He has 21 touchdowns over his last 7 games. That’s kind of sick, right? The trick, as always with premium players, how do you fill out the rest of your lineup? I said it before and I’ll say it again, you just gotta do it. You have one of the most productive backs in daily fantasy, at home, against one of the worst defenses in the country.

Kenneth Farrow - FD 7100 DK 5800
Farrow is a decent middling type play. Houston has moved to primarily a running attack and Farrow has benefited nicely. He isn’t ripping off huge games week after week, but his scoring opportunities have increased significantly since Ward has taken over at QB. Farrow has six touchdowns in his past two games and eight over his last four. Scoring is always a bit more volatile than usage, but in college the guy on the team that consistently scores usually continues to consistently score. There are just too many points scored in college where the fantasy dynamic is a little different than the NFL. The bottom line is the offense has been more consistent thus sustaining more drives and putting more points on the board. Cincinnati is below average against the run and with Houston’s usually tough defense, the Cougars should have the opportunity to stick to the ground game. They will also have to account for Ward calling his own number from time to time so that should help keep them honest and limit how aggressive they can be in their run pursuit. His price is more appealing on Draftkings, but he is in play on both sites.

Consider: Dalvin Cook, Steward Butler (if Devon Johnson is out Butler becomes a strong play)

Wide Receivers

Tyler Lockett - FD 9200 DK 9000
I don’t know if it’s me or not, but it seems like each year as the season goes it becomes increasingly difficult to find nice value among the wide receivers and the value at running back seems to be plentiful. One guy I feel is in a pretty good spot this week is Lockett. The guy is crazy dynamic and, outside of Waters, the only true threat for Kansas State. Lockett can do it all. He has been a monster of late and has averaged roughly 38 fantasy points over his last three games. K-State and Lockett travel to Baylor this week and face the 57th ranked passing defense. Vegas says around 67 points will be scored in this game. Could be more or it could be less (obviously) and I say Lockett is the main guy either way.

Thomas Sperbeck - FD 5600 DK 6100
Shane Williams-Rhodes - FD 5900 DK 5000
These two guys dominate the targets in the Boise offense and the matchup puts them both squarely in play. You’re seeing a lot of Boise St. players on here and rightfully so. Fresno is that bad on the defensive side of the ball and when you expect a team to score somewhere in the 40’s, why not load up? Sperbeck & SWR have reasonable price tags on both sites and make for decent middling type plays at the WR position. A little added bonus with these guys is you can easily hedge your bet by playing the cheaper guy on each site. This game should feature a fair amount of scoring with a total near 70 and I expect most of it will come from Boise. Stack alert.

Josh Doctson - FD 7000 DK 5100
Deante' Gray - FD 5300 DK 3700
Doctson and Gray are basically mirror images of Sperbeck & SWR. They dominate the targets. They are looking at a super juicy matchup where the odds makers are expecting around 70 points. Catalon is expected to miss another week so TCU will rely more heavily on the trio in Green, Doctson, and Gray. Iowa State is likely in for a real beat down and as I mentioned before I think TCU is going to want to pour it on to silence doubters about their current spot in the playoff hunt. Again, both guys are reasonably priced middling type plays that offer decent value for their price points. Gray comes considerably cheaper due to the lack of recent performance. He missed some time due to injury and his first game back was pretty slow. It could be a real thing, but im leaning towards he gets back to being productive this week and really help win some dough if he catches fire. Double stack alert.

Consider: Deontay Greenberry, Geremy Davis, Rashad Greene

Tight End

Blake Bell - FD 3500 DK 2500
Bell is not my favorite TE, as that honor goes to my man @FrosBeforeHoes, Eric Frohnapfel. I’m bringing you Blake because I came up with a compelling conspiracy theory that I think you should here. Cody Thomas for whatever reason leaves the game midway through the 2nd quarter. Blake Bell makes for nice replacement considering he was originally the starting QB. So in comes Bell and puts up QB numbers all while in your tight end slot. Ya heard it here first.
