Point Guards

Jeff Teague - FD 6500 DK 6200 DFSTR 6700
Dennis Schroder - FD 5300 DK 4600 DFSTR 4000
I think, based on their respective prices, you can start whoever is starting for the Hawks tonight. I much prefer Schroder at his salaries, but Teague is a fine play against the Hornets as well. This is a situation you will want to monitor going into gametime. The Hawks have resting starters a ton in preparation for the postseason and don't have a ton of motivation to bring Teague back quickly. Both are coming relatively cheap. Update: Teague is out. Schroder is a top play.

Shane Larkin - FD 4600 DK 4000 DFSTR 3800
Langston Galloway - FD 5900 DK 5100 DFSTR 4900
The Knicks are gross. We know this. (Though not gross enough to lose to Kentucky. That argument is asinine.) But they have to put some bodies on the floor and these two guys are getting a ton of run out of the backcourt. Neither feels particularly safe against the Bulls, but the Knicks are used to getting blown out so I don't see that as a huge deterrent to their minutes.

You have to consider Russell Westbrook every time out. But the Jazz aren't terrible on defense and his price is still in the stratosphere.

Shooting Guards

Dion Waiters - FD 4800 DK 5000 DFSTR 3900
Don't let last game sway you too much. The Thunder were getting trounced and pulled the starters. Waiters will remain with the starting unit and should continue seeing his share of opportunity in this offense. He's been putting up a ton of shots lately, averaging about 14 attempts over the last five. Been running a little hot from the field in that time which has boosted some of his game logs. But I'm still very much buying on the minutes. No Durant. No Ibaka. Very few scorers on this Thunder squad.

Jimmy Butler - FD 8400 DK 8000 DFSTR 6600
Mr. Jimmy (don't call me James) Minutes. Dude comes back from a shoulder injury and acts (at least with the run) like it never happened. Good old Thibs. Can always trust the dude to run guys into the ground. Blowout risk here for sure, but Butler does get that run. Right back a part of the Bulls' offense and though the tag is higher, I don't mind it so much as long as he's out on the court.

Klay Thompson - FD 6800 DK 7000 DFSTR 6900
If the Bucks keep it close then Klay could very well be the play of the day. Projected at only 33 minutes he's in the top points/$ tier. If Milwaukee gets feisty and Klay gets hot, then watch out.

Update: Bazemore and Sefolosha could pick up a bunch of minutes tonight with Hawks sitting starters.

Small Forwards

Gerald Henderson - FD 5400 DK 5200 DFSTR 4900
The minutes are still in the low/ middle thirties on any given night and his usage hasn't been too negatively effected by the return of Kemba Walker and some other Hornets. Gave a little of that run away last night, which is somewhat concerning, but there's a lot to dislike about tonight's crop of small forwards.

Lance Thomas - FD 3900 DK 3500 DFSTR 3000
Feel gross yet? Me too. But when you are the Knicks and are openly trying to lose at this point, you send dudes like Lance Thomas out on the court for extended periods of time to do God only knows what (and I watch a decent amount of Knicks' games). He does just (and I mean just in the most liberal sense of the word) enough to get on this list. He is basically bargain basement so the risk is minimal. But there will be random games that he plays his little heart out and gets into double digit scoring. Considering the Knicks are committed to him (losing) I'll go his way as well.

Draymond Green - FD 7600 DK 7500 DFSTR 6600
Draymond is more a tournament play mostly because of the minutes. He isn't the kind of guy that plays the same amount every single night. Depends on game flow and whether the Warriors are just waxing the s#$% out of someone. If this game stays close and he is in the mid thirties then he makes a very solid upside play. Update: Green is out. Look for David Lee to pick up a bunch of minutes.

Power Forwards

Derrick Favors - FD 8100 DK 8100 DFSTR 7200
He's been on the warpath lately, putting up some monsters over the last week or so. Some of this had to do with Hayward being out of the lineup, but Favors' success isn't totally tied to whether Gordo is around or not. It's not mutually exclusive. This game should stay close and I think the Jazz will want him banging down low with some the bigger bodies on the Thunder. Our projection system loves him if the run is up over 35 minutes. Update: Looks like Favors is going to sit this one.

LaMarcus Aldridge - FD 9400 DK 8700 DFSTR 8700
Denver is among the worst low post defenses in the league. And Aldridge is Aldridge. The little bits of injury for LMA are a bit of a concern, but not enough to consider getting his salary in their if he can go to town on the Denver front court. The Nuggets have allowed worse than league average scoring and rebounding to opposing fours. Aldridge might be a big money solution tonight.

Mitch McGary - FD 3800 DK 4500 DFSTR 3000
Everyone has a Mitch McGary story. He's either burned you bad or helped you win something. Dude doesn't really have an in-between setting. The minutes have been there of late with the Thunder so banged up. He's been over 23 minutes each of the last three games and I suspect that maintains. He's a per minute beast (most games) and his stinkers have kept the salary low.

Consider Pau Gasol as he could beast on the Knicks down low. System also really likes Andrea Bargnani

Center

Zaza Pachulia - FD 6200 DK 5800 DFSTR 4300
This play illustrates what a difficult slate we have working tonight. Zaza, by and large, isn't that good at basketball. And he is also facing one of the tougher defenses in the league. And yet he tops the list of centers for a couple of reasons. One, he's seen an uptick in minutes over the short term which have helped his overall production. Two, the salaries haven't quite met up with his run. Willing to take him in a suboptimal matchup simply because the cost outweighs the downside. How's that for a rousing endorsement?

Enes Kanter - FD 7100 DK 7500 DFSTR 6100
I know some people have in their minds that revenge games are a viable reason to pick a player. I don't subscribe to this belief. But Kanter could be in line for a nice game tonight simply because the Thunder should be motivated to play him a bunch of minutes. The Jazz have size and Kanter will need to see his full minutes as long as the game stays close.
