Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings & FanDuel for Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016. We come out of the All Star break with a huge 12 game slate tonight. With some big guaranteed tournametns around the industry there area a ton of options no matter how you wanna construct a lineup.

Let's dig in to the action and find some core plays for tonight.

Goaltenders

Tuukka Rask
Opponent - TOR
FD - 8300 DK - 7900

Even with an inconsistent first half the Bruins sit with the first wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. Rask's stats have been down across the board this year but one thing hasn't changed. He loves playing the Leafs. He has beat them in all three meetings this year and has pushed his record to 14-3-1 in his career vs the Leafs. He will look to jump out to a strong start Tuesday and help get the Bruins back to the playoffs.

Martin Jones
Opponent - ANA
FD - 7700 DK - 7200

He went into the break red hot winning seven of his last eight games. He pushed his record to 23-13-3 with a  .915 save % and will look to improve on those starting tonight in Anaheim. There has been a shutout in each of the last games that these two teams have played and tonight's game is also a very low projected total. He is a very affordable option across the industry making a terrific GPP play tonight.

Also Consider - Joonas Korpisalo - Columbus Blue Jackets @ EDM

CENTER

Sidney Crosby
Opponent - OTT
FD - 8700 DK - 7400

The Penguins offense got a boost when Mike Sullivan took over as head coach over a month ago. Crosby has been on fire since then picking up 22 points in those 19 games and went in to the break riding a seven game point streak. Look for Crosby to come out of the break very motivated as he didn't make the All Star Game and will be heavily relied upon to help to help push the Penguins to the playoffs. Great matchup at home tonight vs. the Senators who rank 29th in the league in goals against per game(2.96).

Stack with - Patric Hornqvist, Evgeni Malkin, Phil Kessel

Anze Kopitar
Opponent - ARI
FD - 7100 DK - 6200

His salary has jumped over $500 since the beginning of January but there is still room for value. Kopitar has been one of the most consistent producers in the first half with 42 points in 49 games with nine PP points and two short handed points. He went into the break with 12 points in his previous 10 games with 27 shots and even picked up 14 blocks(bonus on DK). He makes more of a tournament play tonight as the Kings have struggled with the Coyotes losing three of the last four meetings.

Stack with - Milan Lucic, Tyler Toffoli

Also Consider - Joe Thornton - San Jose Sharks @ ANH

WINGERS

Taylor Hall
Opponent - CBJ
FD - 7800 DK - 7000

Besides Patrick Kane as an elite winger, there isn't much to fall in love with at the top tonight. This is where I will drop down and take Hall tonight as a top wing option. He went into the break riding a five game point streak pushing his first half total to 51 points. He has carried the offensive load for the Oilers this season who currently reside in last place in the Western Conference. Hall has been one of the few bright spots for the struggling franchise and will look to start off the second half strong as he is on pace to break his career high in points(80) that he set back in the 2013-14 season. It took him

Stack with - Leon Draisaitl, Teddy Purcell

Jakub Voracek
Opponent - MON
FD - 7800 DK - 6100

It took over a month for Voracek to find his rhythm this season and he hasn't looked back. Since December he has recorded 23 points in 23 games and went into the break with 11 points in his last 10 games. He has provided a high floor in that time averaging over 3 shots on goal a game. There is still plenty of upside as well as the Flyers powerplay continues to improve. The Flyers get a great home matchup tonight vs. the Habs who they have beat in 11 of the last 12 meeting in Philadelphia.

Stack with - Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds

Also Consider - Tomas Hertl - San Jose Sharks @ ANH

DEFENSE

Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Opponent - LA
FD - 5500 DK - 6100

If it is consistency you  are looking for in a D man, Ekman-Larsson makes a fantastic play. He picked up 34 points in the first half including 16 points with the man advantage where he sees a league high 5:21 a game. For the season he has averaged over 3 shots and presents a very high floor for cash games. He would be a contrarian play in GPP's tonight as the Coyotes have a tough matchup facing the Pacific leading Kings.

Also Consider - Shayne Gostisbehere - Philadelphia Flyers vs. MON
