Brief Summary

TOR at TEX may see a few thunderstorms scattered across the region this afternoon but the activity looks unimpressive to say the least. Will keep an eye on the region. VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD/ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

 

NYM at COL is more worrisome to me than the game in TEX. By looking at the simulated radars shown below you can see why:

Rain is forecast to impact Denver this afternoon. Not exactly a showery rain but not a steady rain either. I do not expect a PPD as the rain is moving but I could not completely rule one out either. Delay(s) seem possible. LOW TO PERHAPS MODERATE CHANCE OF A PPD/MODERATE CHANCE OF SOME TYPE OF DELAY(S)

 

Good Hitting Environments:

-NYM at COL will be played with always present extreme of very low air density which helps batted balls carry an average of 9% farther. (Plus the wind is blowing out to left today)

-Even with relatively chilly temperatures expected, a strong wind blowing out to right will help batters in the DET at BLT and HOU at BOS games.

Poor Hitting Environments:

-Very chilly temperatures will be found in CLE and CHC. Not quite as chilly but still not very warm in PHL, DC, NYY and KC.
