Well, we are right smack dab in the middle of summer and climatologically the hottest time of the year and that is certainly the case across the country. There is a a couple of old sayings a) that is too cold to snow and b) too hot for thunderstorms. Well b) has some truth to it today as there is just not enough surface features to allow thunderstorm formation. The places to watch with minor rain threats are PIT, CHW, COL and KC. I do not see any game being PPD.
