As Bob Barker used to say "The Price is Right". If you are paying up for one goalie it better be Price who has been the class of the league through a quarter of the season(11-0-1/.950 sv%). In fact he has been the class of the league for years and leads all goalies with a .927 save % over the past five seasons. The matchup is elite as well as the Habs 2nd ranked offense will be at home facing the Senators 29th ranked offense.

Tuukka Rask FD - $9600 DK - $7800
Opponent - STL
Proj Pts FD - 19.69 DK - 4.92

If you are looking to save a little salary and go bit more balanced with your lineup consider Tuukka Rask who has also had an incredible start to the season. He has recorded a 11-2 record with an elite .946 save % helping the Bruins to a 5th overall rank in defense, allowing just 2.2 goals per game. The Blues are always a tough team but have struggled out of the gates this season ranking 20th in offense and struggling on the road with a 2-5-1 record.

CENTERS

Alex Galchenyuk FD - $6600 DK - $7100
Opponent - OTT
Proj Pts FD - 11.9 DK - 3.83

His price is approaching it highest point all season but that doesn't mean we have to fade. It just makes it more important to target the favorable matchups. Tonight is one of those for Galchenyuk who is playing at home where he has been much better recording 15 of his 19 overall points and is averaging over double the fantasy points. He and the Habs will face the Senators tonight who have been fading defensively and have fallen from 5th to 14th over the last few weeks. He is safe in all formats.

Patrice Bergeron FD - $6500 DK - $6600
Opponent - STL
Proj Pts FD - 14.66 DK - 4.57

First of all, I wouldn't trust Bergeron in cash games but think he makes an excellent low owned, high upside GPP play tonight. Early season injuries have contributed to his extremely slow start with just five points through 15 games. The good news is he is still firing the puck at an elite rate(19.8 shot att/60) and with a career low shooting %(5%) he should definitely see some positive regression coming his way.

Victor Rask FD - $5800 DK - $5900
Opponent - TOR
Proj Pts FD - 10.96 DK - 3.62

For cash games I find myself gravitating to Rask who comes with a an affordable mid range price on both sites and has provided steady production, averaging 3.4 DK/12.9 FD points per game. He is also coming in red hot with goals in four of his last five games and gets a matchup vs. the Leafs and their 29th ranked defense. All signs points to a solid night for Rask.

WINGERS

Corey Perry FD - $6900 DK - $7200
Opponent - NYI
Proj Pts FD - 14.41 DK - 4.41

Like Bergeron, I just can't trust Perry in cash games but for different reasons. Both his shot totals and point production has been a roller coaster ride this season which is the opposite of what we are looking for in cash. For GPP's he makes perfect sense as the inconsistency keeps his price in the $7K range and the ownership very manageable. In favorable matchups this season he has thrived and shown his multi point upside and will get another one of those matchups tonight. The Islanders defense ranks 24th while their penalty kill ranks 23rd and they have taken the 6th most penalties per game of any team. Look for the Ducks to get a few extra opportunities tonight with upside of four plus goals.

Mitchell Marner FD - $5800 DK - $6300
Opponent - CAR
Proj Pts FD - 11.84 DK - 3.44

This will be a game you are going to want to load up on as it could easily be the highest scoring of the night. The Leafs have been terrific at home with a 7-2 record and are averaging over four goals per game. In fact, they have scored six goals in four of their last five homes games. WOW. The Leafs second line has scored six goals over their last three games with Marner scoring two of them. He has been the more impressive of the rookies and has provided a high floor averaging close to three shots on goal per game to go along with his 16 points. With the price and matchup he is definitely safe in all formats.

DEFENSEMEN

Noah Hanifin FD - $3800 DK - $3800
Opponent - TOR
Proj Pts FD - 8.4 DK - 2.7

From a PTS/$ perspective, Hanifin is an excellent value play tonight. He playing a top four role and is also getting time on the top powerplay unit which should see added opportunities tonight as the Leafs are currently taking the 3rd most penalty minutes per game(12.2). Hanifan has recorded four of his eight points with the man advantage and comes with a punt price under $4K on both sites.  

Radko Gudas FD - $4200 DK - $4000
Opponent - FLA
Proj Pts FD - 8.07 DK - 2.38

As long as Gudas' price sticks in the low $4K range I will continue to roll him out in cash games on a nightly basis. He is averaging 3.5 DK/12.3 FD points per game due to his elite shot blocking. Through 13 games he has already blocked 40 shots and despite not being an offensive threat he has already recorded seven points making him a borderline punt play in GPP's as well.
