GOALIES

Jake AllenJake Allen FD - $8800 DK - $8300
Opponent - VAN
Proj Pts FD - 17.92 DK - 4.48

With 12 games and so many big favorites tonight, there isn't going to be one chalky goalie like most nights. That's great news as Jake Allen is in an elite spot at home vs. the struggling Canucks who have lost seven of their last 10 games. The Blues are -225 favorites as they try to hold on to their spot in the playoff picture. Allen has been incredible lately winning six of his last seven starts and only allowing more than two goals against once in that time. Fire up Allen in all formats tonight.
Al MontoyaAl Montoya FD - $8300 DK - $8300
Opponent - CAR
Proj Pts FD - 20.36 DK - 5.09

Montoya made the start for the Habs last game as Carey Price is dealing with a "minor injury". Gotta love the vagueness of the NHL injury reports. At this point, it is still unclear if Price will be back tonight but if the Habs were smart with the playoffs on the horizon, they would sit him out and give him some rest. That would give Montoya another start in a pretty good spot at home vs. a non-playoff team. The Habs are currently -185 favorites and although Montoya lost in OT last time out vs. the Red Wings, he did shine making 34 saves on 36 shots he faced. There are definitely better cash games options but Montoya is a nice GPP flyer tonight.

**Update - Carey Price is confirmed and back between the pipes for the Habs tonight. Lock him into your GPP lineups.**

CENTERS

Connor McDavidConnor McDavid FD - $9000 DK - $8300
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 16.15 DK - 4.67

I mentioned last Saturday that we needed to take advantage of McDavid in his elite matchups and it appears I should have said ALL matchups from here on out. The elite center is changing Oilers hockey as we have known it for the past few years with his league leading 82 points. Wait. As I write this, he has already picked up a goal and an assist vs. the Ducks in the first period. The Oilers are playing on back to back nights and their third game in four nights but he gets to play the league's worst team, both in the standings and statistically.

Stack with: Leon Draisaitl, Patrick Maroon

Nicklas BackstromNicklas Backstrom FD - $7200 DK - $6600
Opponent - CBJ
Proj Pts FD - 15.08 DK - 4.39

Chasing McDavid in the points race is Alex....no wait it's actually another Caps player, not Ovi himself. Backstrom has been on absolute fire since the calendar flipped to 2017. He has tallied 48 points in just 35 games and now sits just seven points out of the NHL lead. He gets a tougher matchup tonight facing the Blue Jackets who are one of the two teams chasing the Caps for the President's Trophy but the good news is they are playing on a back to back night and their third game in four nights. This makes a great spot to jump on the Caps with a projected lower ownership than normal.

Stack with: TJ Oshie, Alex Ovechkin

Brayden PointBrayden Point FD - $4300 DK - $5100
Opponent - BOS
Proj Pts FD - 8.62 DK - 2.47

For my value play at the position, I am going to roll with Point once again. He salary is starting to rise slowly but not to the point(no pun intended) where he is unplayable, especially skating on the top line with Kucherov. He and the Bolts as a whole had a horrible game vs. the Coyotes last time out and will be looking for redemption as they push for the playoffs and sit just five ponts back. Point has tallied five points over his last 10 games with seven blocks and 21 shots and also skates on the powerplay. His best value is on FanDuel where he remains in teh low $4K range.

Stack with: Nikita Kucherov, Ondrej Palat

WINGERS

Patrick KanePatrick Kane FD - $8900 DK - $8200
Opponent - DAL
Proj Pts FD - 17.8 DK - 5.1

As we inch towards the end of the season, I start relying more on the high-end stars on teams that have something to play for. The Hawks fit the bill as they lead the Western Conference with 100 points and trail the Caps by just two points for the President's Trophy. Kane is also chasing something himself. With his 80 points, he sits just five back of Connor McDavid for the league lead and is a clear contender in the hart Trophy race once again. He gets an elite matchup tonight vs. the Stars who are all but out of it with their 29th ranked defense.

Stack with: Artemi Panarin, Nick Schmaltz
Max PaciorettyMax Pacioretty FD - $7200 DK - $6900
Opponent - CAR
Proj Pts FD - 14.15 DK - 4.04

While you would think a player in a slump like Pacioretty(just 4 points in 9 March games) would be more of a risky play you would be wrong, in a way. Yes, the lack of points is concerning but he plays on the top line and over his last 10 games he has tallied a whopping 43 shots on goal. That spells floor and safety at the same time. On a huge slate, however, I don't think you need to pay up for Pacioretty in cash games with so many values out there but he does make a high floor, high upside GPP play at home to the Canes.

Stack with: Alexander Radulov, Phillip Danault

Mathieu PerreaultMathieu Perreault FD - $5100 DK - $4600
Opponent - LA
Proj Pts FD - 10.03 DK - 2.92

The Jets top lien has been red hot lately scoring four combined goals over their last three games played. They get a bit of a tough matchup tonight vs. the Kings in Los Angeles but that doesn't mean you have to fade them completely. Perreault is an excellent option that is safe in all formats averaging a point per game over his last 10 games and gives you cheap exposure to the top line. Stack them all together for GPP upside.

Stack with: Blake Wheeler, Mark Scheifele

DEFENSEMEN
Andrej SekeraAndrej Sekera FD - $4400 DK - $4000
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 9.56 DK - 2.83

It's pretty simple for me at defense tonight. I will be going value, value, and more value outside of Byfuglien who contributes in all aspects from a fantasy perspective. The value starts with Sekera of the Oilers who comes with a very high floor having blocked 17 shots over his last four games while adding three assists. He will also get a bit of an offensive boost tonight facing the league's worst defense.

Michael MathesonMichael Matheson FD - $3200 DK - $3800
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 7.91 DK - 2.32

If you are looking for a punt play to get as many top players as possible in your lineup, consider Matheson of the Panthers. He comes at a sub $4K price on both sites and while he doesn't provide much offensive upside, he does have an above average floor with 28 shots and 16 blocks over his last 10 games. That is pretty darn good from a PTS/$ standpoint.

Also Consider: Dustin Byfuglien(WPG)
