GOALIE

Jake AllenJake Allen FD - $8800 DK - $8000
Opponent - NYI
Proj Pts FD - 15.66 DK - 3.91

After getting the night off on Tuesday, the Blues top goaltender will be back between the pipes on Saturday night and gets a favorable matchup against the Islanders who are playing the second of back to back games on the road. He has had a few hiccups this season giving up more than three goals in three starts but still sits with an impressive .921 save % and is facing just over 30 shots per game. He enters tonight's matchup on a bit of a roll, as well, winning five of his last six starts allowing more than two goals just once. All things considered, he is an elite play in all formats.

Pekka RinnePekka Rinne FD - $8900 DK - $7700
Opponent - PIT
Proj Pts FD - 15.28 DK - 3.82

Rinne and the Predators weren't quite able to get by the Penguins in the Stanley Cup Finals but have started this season with high hopes of returning to finish the job. They have been money at home going 3-1-1 and Pekka Rinne has led the way with a 3-0-1 record and overall has gone 7-2-2 with the second-best GAA(2.08) and third-best save percentage(.934). Tonight he faces a struggling Penguins that ranks 24th in offense and is playing the second of a back to back on the road after being routed by the Caps 4-1 in last nights game. He is safe in all formats but his best value is on DraftKings where he comes with a sub $8K price tag.

Also Consider: Charllie Lindgren(MTL) in GPP formats

CENTERS

Patrice BergeronPatrice Bergeron FD - $7700 DK - $7000
Opponent - TOR
Proj Pts FD - 15.5 DK - 4.67

Ryan was all over Bergeron as his top center last night and he didn't let us down scoring the opening goal but unfortunately for the Bruins, they fell 3-2 in overtime. Now the home at home series shifts to Boston and I am sticking with Bergeron tonight who is arguably the best all-around player in the game. With that goal last night, he now has points in four straight and 11 points in 10 games and to top it off is one of just a handful of forwards to average over a block per game. Needless to say, he is safe in all formats once again tonight.

Stack with: Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak

Vincent TrocheckVincent Trocheck FD - $6100 DK - $6100
Opponent - NJ
Proj Pts FD - 13.25 DK - 3.81

If you are looking to go a little bit more balanced in your lineups, I would suggest rolling out Vincent Trocheck. The Panthers sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference this season but it has nothing to do with the offense which ranks sixth overall and is led by their talented centers. Trocheck comes at a discount from Barkov who skates on the top line but he has slightly outperformed him to this point with 16 points and an average of 2.8 shots on goal per game. He makes an excellent cash game play on his own or you can pair him with Barkov and Huberdeau to form a high upside powerplay stack vs. the Devils who sit eighth in penalty minutes per game.

Stack with: Jonathan Huberdeau(PP), Aleksander Barkov(PP)

Also Consider: Nazem Kadri(TOR) in all formats or Dylan Larkin(DET) in GPP formats

WINGERS

Vladimir TarasenkoVladimir Tarasenko FD - $8300 DK - $7600
Opponent - NYI
Proj Pts FD - 17.84 DK - 4.89

Early slate, main slate, doesn't matter what you are playing today Vladimir Tarasenko is the top overall play in all formats. He has been arguably the hottest player in the league lately as he enters tonight's matchup with 12 points in his last 10 games and has provided a sky-high floor with 51 shots on goal. He now gets an elite home matchup vs. the Islanders who rank 21st overall in defense and are playing the second of back to back games on the road and are currently getting whooped by the Stars 5-0 through two periods.

Stack with: Jaden Schwartz, Brayden Schenn

Claude GirouxClaude Giroux FD - $7600 DK - $6700
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 15.95 DK - 4.26

As I die-hard Flyer fan, I was highly critical of the coaching staff moving Giroux to the wing this season. They have proved me completely wrong as he is having a tremendous start to the year and to be fair, the entire top line has benefited as all three sit Top 10 in league points. Giroux has tallied goals in three straight games and has potted five in his last 10 games and the only thing keeping him from being an elite play in all formats is the average shot volume(2.1 per game) but don't be afraid to stack him with his linemates in GPP's even in a tough matchup vs. the Wild.

Stack with: Sean Couturier, Jakub Voracek

Brendan GallagherBrendan Gallagher FD - $6000 DK - $4700
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 12.99 DK - 3.75

After a disappointing 2016-17 season where he recorded just 29 points, Gallagher has bounced back in a big way and has already tallied seven goals and 12 points in his first 17 games this season. The Habs have done a great job of evenly distributing their ice-time this season and while only getting just over 15 minutes per game, Gallagher has provided a nice floor averaging 3.2 shots on goal per game. This makes him a great play in all formats but his best value comes on DraftKings where his salary continues to ride in the sub $5K range.

Stack with: Tomas Plekanec, Paul Byron

DEFENSEMEN

Alex PietrangeloAlex Pietrangelo FD - $6300 DK - $6600
Opponent - NYI
Proj Pts FD - 14.62 DK - 4.35

This isn't the first I have headlined the defense picks with Pietrangelo and as long as he keeps producing at an elite level I will continue to ride the hot hand. He has been a beast for the Blues this season averaging over 26 minutes of ice-time and sits tied for the lead among defensemen with 16 points. He isn't just an upside play either as he is averaging 1.7 blocks and 3.3 shots on goal per game giving him a high floor making him a top option in all formats on a nightly basis.

Jordie BennJordie Benn FD - $3600 DK - $3200
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 8 DK - 2.33

For my top punt play of the night, I will turn to the older of the Benn brothers. He is now playing in Montreal and while he isn't known for his offense, he has been providing a steady floor for fantasy owners with 13 blocks in his last three games and 10 shots on goal over his last four games. He is playing a top-six role for the Habs this season and is averaging over 21 minutes of ice-time and has been a key penalty killer. He is best used in cash games with his lack of upside but is also useful in GPP formats if you are stacking an expensive line.

Also Consider: Shayne Gostisbehere(PHI), Jared Spurgeon(MIN)
