GOALIE

Sergei BobrovskySergei Bobrovsky FD - $9300 DK - $8300
Opponent - ANA
Proj Pts FD - 17.78 DK - 4.45

The two-time Vezina Trophy winner is coming off a hard-luck loss to the Habs on Monday but has been great all season. He has not allowed more than two goals against in eight straight starts and sits with a league-leading 1.92 GAA and .935 save % on the season. He now gets the top matchup of the night as a -200 home favorite against the Ducks who did break their losing streak last game but still have only scored 10 goals their last five games and rank 27th overall in offense this season. Roll out Bob in all formats.

Connor HellebuyckConnor Hellebuyck FD - $8000 DK - $8000
Opponent - VEG
Proj Pts FD - 15.25 DK - 3.89

Fro value in GPP formats, I will be turning to Connor Hellebuyck tonight. He has been up and down lately with two games where he has allowed five goals against but overall has been impressive for the Jets with a 13-2-3 record and .926 save %. He has also been elite at home where he has yet to lose in regulation(8-0-1) and enters tonight as a huge -185 favorite as the Golden Knights come to town playing the second of a back to back on the road.

Also Consider: Aaron Dell(SJ) as a salary relief GPP option

CENTERS

John TavaresJohn Tavares FD - $8300 DK - $7600
Opponent - OTT
Proj Pts FD - 15.13 DK - 4.35

It's a bit of a sh*t show in Ottawa right now as they have lost seven straight and I will continue to target against them until they show us some signs of life. Tonight the Islanders #1 offense led by John Tavares welcome the Sens and their rapidly declining defense that now ranks 23rd overall after giving up an average of 3.4 goals per game over their last 10. Johnny T is having a terrific season as he sits third in goals with 16 and 10th overall in points with 28 while also providing us with a high floor averaging just over three shots on goal per game. He is my top overall play tonight and he is safe in all formats.

Stack with: Anders Lee, Josh Bailey

Logan CoutureLogan Couture FD - $6600 DK - $6700
Opponent - FLA
Proj Pts FD - 15.39 DK - 4.49

The Sharks have been on a bit of a roll lately winning three of their last four goals and a big part of that can be contributed to their offense as they have scored 14 goals in those games(3.5 per game). Leading the way has been second line center, Logan Couture, who is coming off back to back multi-point games and has at least one point in four of his last five games. He should be able to keep the streak going tonight as the Sharks face a Panthers team that has played better recently but still struggles defensively as they ranked 29th overall this season. With a mid $6K price on both sites, Couture is in play in all formats.

Stack with: Tomas Hertl, Joonas Donskoi

Nico HischierNico Hischier FD - $5300 DK - $5600
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 11.23 DK - 2.89

While one of my favorite plays lately has been Taylor Hall on the wing, I will have a ton of exposure to Crosby, Tavares, and Tarasenko in the high range of salary meaning we will need some value plays tonight. Enter Nico Hischier who is centering the top line in Jersey alongside Hall and has been playing at a high level lately. He has goals in back to back games and a three-game point streak going with eight points total over his last 10 games. The shot volume isn't elite around 2.5 per game but the price is in the mid $5K range on both sites brings him into the conversation in all formats.

Stack with: Taylor Hall, Jesper Bratt

Also Consider: Sidney Crosby(PIT) on the high end who has an elite matchup vs. BUF and their 28th ranked defense and Mathew Barzal(NYI) on the value end who carries a seven-game point streak into tonight against a struggling Sens team

WINGERS

Phil KesselPhil Kessel FD - $8100 DK - $7200
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 16.73 DK - 5.04

Considering Tarasenko has a tough matchup vs. the Kings tonight, Phil Kessel is easily the top winger on Friday night. Not only has he been providing elite upside with 16 points over his last 10 games and 32 on the season, he offers us a very high floor as he is averaging 3.8 shots per game. Then you have the fact he gets his center, Evgeni Malkin, back tonight(most likely) and an elite matchup vs. the Sabres who rank 28th overall in defense allowing 3.36 goals per game. Fire up Kessel in all formats.

Stack with: Evgeni Malkin(if back in lineup), Jake Guentzel, Sidney Crosby(PP), Patric Hornqvist(PP)

Evander KaneEvander Kane FD - $6900 DK - $7000
Opponent - PIT
Proj Pts FD - 14.88 DK - 4.35

On the other side of this potential high-scoring game, we have Evander Kane who is tied with Alex Ovechkin in shot volume this season with a ridiculous 4.7 per game and one of only four players with 100+ shots on the season. This alone brings these players into play on a nightly basis but then consider Kane has also added nearly a point per game even on the leagues worst offense and gets a top matchup vs. the Pens who rank 30th in defense allowing 3.42 goals per game and he is definitely a top play in all formats.

Stack with: Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart

Kyle ConnorKyle Connor FD - $4400 DK - $5100
Opponent - VEG
Proj Pts FD - 10.59 DK - 2.96

Ryan and I both have talked at length about Blake Wheeler this season but tonight, I will concentrate on his linemate, Kyle Connor. First of all, he provides us with some salary relief if we are rostering any of the top-tier forwards and he has also been contributing lately with eight points over his last 10 games while averaging just shy of three shots per game. All things considered, he is a top value on both sites, especially on FanDuel in the mid $4K range.

Stack with: Mark Scheifele, Blake Wheeler

Also Consider: Vladimir Tarasenko(STL) as a high-upside GPP play who should be lower owned in a tough matchup and coming off a brutal game two nights ago and Josh Anderson(CBJ) who has tallied 34 shots last 10 games and has nine goals on the season

DEFENSEMEN

Brent BurnsBrent Burns FD - $6600 DK - $6800
Opponent - FLA
Proj Pts FD - 14.46 DK - 4.42

Well, it's been all season and this marks the very first time I have mentioned Brent Burns and as a beard guy myself, this makes me sad. I just haven't been able to justify the price for a player who is averaging less than a point per game. Good news as the salary has dipped below $7K on both sites and Burns has started to heat up with points in for straight games. Buy low alert! One thing he has provided this season is a decent floor as he is averaging 3.7 shots per game over his last 10 and 4.04 shots per game on the season. The matchup is also intriguing as the Sharks face a Panthers team that ranks 29th in defense. I never pay up this high in cash games but will definitely have shares in GPP formats tonight.

Justin SchultzJustin Schultz FD - $4300 DK - $4000
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 10.83 DK - 3.25

Value is the name of the game(at least for me) in cash games and Justin Schultz provides just that. He provides us salary relief in the low $4K range on both sites and has been trending up in all areas over his last 10 games skating over 20 minutes per game with a nice balance of shots(20) and blocks(14) and most importantly has seen a big uptick in offense with five points in his last three games. He is listed on the third unit for the Penguins but jumps up to the top powerplay unit with Crosby and company giving him even more value.

Also Consider: Kevin Shattenkirk(NYR) and Colton Parayko(STL)
