Point Guard

Kemba Walker FD - $8000 DK - $8300
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 44.53 DK - 46.38
With Smart and Heyward sidelined, the Celtics have called on Kemba to do even more than he had been doing, and Walker has responded. With 42, 44, and 62 fantasy points in his last three games, Walker is contributing across all categories. The only thing that can stand in Kemba's way here is the potential blowout risk, and while that is a material concern tonight, I still think that Walker has the ball in his hands enough to breeze past the banged up Pistons.

Kendrick Nunn FD - $5800 DK - $6500
Opponent - NY
Proj Pts FD - 30.23 DK - 30.93
Any doubts about Nunn's role with Winslow sidelined were quieted against the Sixers, as the electric youngster stayed out there for 41 minutes in regulation, chipping in a 26/4/5 line in the process. The DraftKings price has caught up a little bit, but the FanDuel price is still far too cheap for what we've come to expect from Nunn. It's also a fantastic match-up against the Knicks, who have the 4th worst defensive efficiency in the NBA this system. There are a lot of good plays across the board tonight, and Nunn is a great way to invest cheaply at point guard to get access to the good big money plays elsewhere.

Keep an eye on Jeremy Lamb's status. If he misses it could open up a path for Aaron Holiday to rejoin the starting lineup.

Shooting Guard

Josh Richardson FD - $5400 DK - $5600
Opponent - DAL
Proj Pts FD - 29.85 DK - 30

It's always nice when we can catch a guy whose price is too low for his current opportunity, and that's exactly what we have with J-Rich. He stayed out there for 33 minutes in regulation in his "revenge game" against the Heat, and at just $5,400 he's criminally cheap here. The Sixers are favored by 8.5 at home against the Luka-less Mavs, but I wouldn't worry much about the blowout, and I believe we see Richardson's price rise by at least 10% in short order if he maintains this rotation.

Andrew Wiggins FD - $7900 DK - $8000
Opponent - DEN
Proj Pts FD - 44.08 DK - 44.68

With Culver and Towns both questionable leaning doubtful, Wiggins could be in line for another big performance. In a similar situation on Wednesday he played 41 minutes and paid almost 5x points per dollar on these prices against the Pelicans. Denver is a lousy match-up, but I think we saw Wiggins' floor against the Pels, and there is upside for plenty more if he is going to be out there for 40 minutes.

There are good options across the price tiers today. Our system likes Jimmy Butler, SGA, and on down to Bruce Brown given the injuries plaguing Detroit. Just figure out how much money you have left over and spend that on the shooting guards of your choice.

Keep an eye on: That Raptors situation. With essentially everyone hurt, someone has to eat up those minutes, and if Terence Davis gets extended run he could be worth a look here.

Small Forward

OG Anunoby FD - $5700 DK - $5600
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 30.56 DK - 30.05

With Powell, Siakam, and Gasol out indefinitely, and FVV still sidelined, the reigning champs are in dire straits. I don't see any path forward that doesn't involve huge minutes from OG and Lowry, unless they decide to just hang the season up and build for the future. The Raptors could be at risk of being blown out going forward, but today they'll get one last crack at a terrible Washington team that has played around the league's fastest pace with the worst defense all season long. I expect OG to be a hugely owned play as a result.

Markieff Morris FD - $3900 DK - $5000
Opponent - BOS
Proj Pts FD - 29.69 DK - 30.88

With Blake and Kennard doubtful, it's hard to see a world where Morris doesn't stay out there for 30 minutes short of a blowout. We have multiple examples of what Morris can do with such opportunity, and getting a 25 fantasy point floor with 40 fantasy point upside is just too juicy to pass up at this ridiculous FanDuel price. It's admittedly closer on DraftKings, but if he gets the start I think he's playable there as well.

Kelly Oubre Jr. FD - $6100 DK - $6700
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 37.08 DK - 36.73

It sure seems like there great plays across almost every position tonight, so I'll keep highlighting plays that might be a little bit off your radar. Oubre's price has dipped from its early season highs, but honestly the production has maintained at a near-elite level. In his last four games he's shown a 30 fantasy point floor with 42 fantasy point upside, and I love how he matches up with the Thunder here. With SGA and CP3 busy with the Suns' feisty back-court, Oubre should get even more looks than usual, making him a great play in any format.

Too many other options to consider: I'm overloaded. I've never seen so many plays on one night with 5x points per dollar multiplies, so hop in our members only chat (free with a free trial to our lineup optimizer) to discuss this tonight!

Power Forward

Chris Boucher FD - $3500 DK - $3300
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 29.92 DK - 29.01

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson FD - $3600 DK - $4100
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 29.33 DK - 29.17

It's officially cheap Toronto bigs season. With Gasol, Siakam, and Powell out, who else is literally going to get these minutes? I know they've been reluctant to play Boucher big minutes, but they are just out of warm bodies at this point, and it seems like there's no time like the present to give these guys full run. It's a great match-up, sure, but we're really into this play simply for the huge price and opportunity mismatch.

Davis Bertans FD - $6400 DK - $6900
Opponent - TOR
Proj Pts FD - 36.59 DK - 38.24

Bertans cleared 95% ownership in FanDuel cash games on Wednesday, and he'd likely be heading back there if not for the incredible Toronto punts that have been spread before us. With Hachimura out with a groin injury, the Wizards are going to keep leaning into Bertans for 35-40 minutes a game. Throw in the fact that what would have been a tough match-up is now something like a lay-up and Bertans looks like one of the best overall plays on the board in any format.

If you have money lying around, I still really do like Porzingis with Luka sidelined. Serge Ibaka is also in line for big run, just like the other Raptors above.

Center

Aron Baynes FD - $4300 DK - $4200
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 34.73 DK - 35.28

Gorgui Dieng FD - $4400 DK - $4900
Opponent - DEN
Proj Pts FD - 29.85 DK - 28.11

Just an embarrassment of riches among the cheap plays today, it's hard to even know where to pay up. Both Baynes and Dieng are overqualified cheap options with their respective starters out, with Baynes running his salary up to $6k with Ayton out earlier this season and Dieng touching 80% ownership in KAT's Wednesday absence. Towns might still play here, but if he is out, both of these are just incredible plays.

Also considered: Joel Embiid, or Andre Drummond. I'm honestly getting nervous about where exactly we're going to spend down on this slate, as the off-the-charts number of options leaves us guessing to some degree. If you decide you can't pay down at center, both of these guys are showing up as high points per dollar plays, with Drummond looking riskier thanks to a potentially tough game script.
