Point Guard

Luka Doncic FD - $10700 DK - $11100
Opponent - GS
Proj Pts FD - 58.23 DK - 61.98

There’s almost certainly going to be some value opening up on this bigger slate meaning we are going to be able to pay top dollar for some superstars. Luka is just one of those guys. Though his team is struggling this season and has looked sluggish, from a fantasy perspective Doncic is still getting the job done. He’s averaging 28 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds per game and having to run major minutes with the Mavs dealing with so many injuries. They are getting healthier now, but the onus on winning has increased. Golden State is actually a top-ten defense on the season, but they are running the second-fastest pace. This is a good matchup for Luka.

Cole Anthony FD - $5000 DK - $5700
Opponent - CHI
Proj Pts FD - 30.03 DK - 31.24

He’s never really a candidate to play big minutes even in close games, but Anthony can be counted on to run about 31-32 when things are going right. And on Saturday he has a chance to run it back against a weaker Chicago defense. On Friday, he put up 17 points and nine assists, one of his better games as a pro and that price is still sitting in the lower-middle tier. I think the floor is high enough considering the opponent and maintaining that Anthony continues to get up double-digit shot attempts per game.

Shooting Guard

Hamidou Diallo FD - $5900 DK - $5900
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 42.52 DK - 42

The Thunder’s injury news is a little mirky as of this writing with a lot of their guys, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Theo Maledon questionable. But we already know George Hill is out and there should be minutes for Diallo here regardless. With OKC playing shorthanded the last couple of games he’s played 37 and 33 minutes respectively with an average of 16 points, 5.5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds. They haven’t been balanced lines, but he can pile on the fantasy points when given the opportunity. Keep an eye out for who is playing in this game though Diallo should be safe almost regardless.

Victor Oladipo FD - $8200 DK - $8200
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 45.22 DK - 46.44

Though the Rockets should have a healthy backcourt for this game they are still going to be without Christian Wood for the short-term. Oladipo will run high-30’s minutes when the game is close and he’s had a significant uptick in usage since coming over in the trade from Indiana. He’s put up 20+ shots in four of the eight games since coming over though it hasn’t always been all that efficient. That’s keeping his price in the $8K range which I think is a value on both sites considering how the Rockets are using him.

Small Forward

Tobias Harris FD - $7900 DK - $7600
Opponent - BKN
Proj Pts FD - 40.57 DK - 41.87

The Sixers are going to be at full strength for this game which could decrease some of the usage for Harris. But the good news is they are playing against the Nets who play very little defense and now are going to be without their best defender (player) in Kevin Durant. Harris is having an excellent season, shooting 44% from three and averaging the second-most points per game of his career (20.2). Brooklyn has very little in the way of size for their wing defenders and Philly could really give them fits here.

Juan Toscano-Anderson FD - $5400 DK - $4200
Opponent - DAL
Proj Pts FD - 30.46 DK - 30.45

Toscano entered the starting lineup last game with both James Wiseman and Kevon Looney on the shelf. That shifted Draymond Green up more towards center and gave Toscano a chance to play a lot of minutes (39). That’s likely at the very high end of the expectation, but again the Warriors are short in the frontcourt right now. Toscano scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds in this role. His DraftKings’ price is more palatable than the FanDuel one, but I think he’s in play on both sites.

Power Forward

Giannis Antetokounmpo FD - $11200 DK - $11000
Opponent - CLE
Proj Pts FD - 58.98 DK - 61.3

Like I said with Luka, this is a slate where there’s almost definitely going to be a lot of cheaper value coming in. Paying up for Giannis is going to give you a high floor in that situation and could be the way to go at power forward especially if the OKC guys (below) don’t work out. Giannis’s fantasy numbers are down a little bit on the season, but he’s been picking things up of late and is coming off a monster performance against these very-same Cavs on Friday. He went for 33 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and four steals in just 33 minutes before Milwaukee pulled away. Blowout is a risk again, but Giannis can put it up even in limited minutes against this team.

Darius Bazley FD - $6600 DK - $6100
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 34.51 DK - 36.71

Isaiah Roby FD - $3900 DK - $3700
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 29.01 DK - 28.52

This is a situation we are going to be monitoring closely. The Thunder are a mess of injuries right now and on Friday barely had enough players (eight) to even playing the game. Roby ended up starting though he wasn’t with the closing unit. Bazley was a minutes beast but struggled with efficiency. As of right now, nearly the whole team is questionable and it’s also unclear if Al Horford plays the second half of a back-to-back. It’s pretty safe to say both of these guys will play bigger minutes relative to their price points, but we will need to wait and see what the final injury tally is for OKC.

Center

DeMarcus Cousins FD - $5900 DK - $6300
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 39.58 DK - 41.61

Christian Wood is going to miss some time with a sprained ankle which should, once again, open up big minutes for Cousins. A week of so ago this was also the case with Boogie getting three-straight starts. He averaged 32 minutes a game and put up an average of 17 points and 14 rebounds. And one of these games he was almost non-existent against the Suns which feels like an outlier considering his per-minute stats on the season. On FanDuel, it’s going to be tough choosing between Cousins and Vuce below. On DraftKings, I think you can play them both.

Nikola Vucevic FD - $8800 DK - $8900
Opponent - CHI
Proj Pts FD - 53.55 DK - 56.64

Vucevic was the mega-chalk option on both sites Friday night and it’s hard to imagine him not being the same thing here again on Saturday. After all, dude put up an absolute monster against the Bulls, finishing with 43 points and 19 rebounds in a slate-winning effort. Chicago has given it up on the interior especially with Wendell Carter Jr out of the mix. And they’ll likely start Thaddeus Young at center on Saturday which means they’ll have no size at all. Vuce is in position to smash once again.
