Guards

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $10800 DK - $9700
Opponent - DEN
Proj Pts FD - 49.46 DK - 48.89

This feels like an impossible slate with just two games and three elite, high-priced players we are going to want in our lineups. Two of them come at the guard position and I am currently leaning towards SGA over Steph due to the matchup as the Thunder face a Nuggets team that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency and have allowed the 6th most fantasy points to guards. Gilgeous-Alexander has been incredibly consistent all season averaging 31.5 points, 6.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 54 fantasy points per game. I really hope some value opens up on this slate so we are able to jam in multiple studs but if ew can fit just one, SGA is right at the top of the list, at least on DraftKings.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope FD - $5400 DK - $5000
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 24.06 DK - 24.57

After the top guys, we are going to be looking for some value and KCP is one that is on my list. While he is down the list in terms of usage in the offense, he has been consistent for fantasy this season and rarely blows up our lineup, at least in cash games. It's the secondary categories where his value resides as he is averaging 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game and comes in with 23 or more fantasy points in four of his last five with a ceiling around 30-32 fantasy points. The price is a little better on DraftKings but he is in consideration on both sites tonight.

R.J. Hampton FD - $4600 DK - $4900
Opponent - GS
Proj Pts FD - 11.94 DK - 11.99

This pick is very speculative at this point and one we will have to monitor as lineup lock approaches. The Magic have been short-handed at guard all season with Markelle Fultz and Gary Harris yet to play a game, Cole Anthony with no timetable to return after an oblique injury and now Terrance Ross is questionable after sustaining a knee contusion last game. If Ross is out, there is a chance Hampton could get a start or at least see an increased role and was decent down the stretch making 13 starts averaging 8.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. I would happily take that for a sub $5K player on a short slate. Stay tuned for more news throughout the day.

Small Forward

Michael Porter Jr. FD - $7000 DK - $6500
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 30.69 DK - 34.04

The Nuggets draw a tougher matchup against a trending Thunder team that has improved defensively but this is projected to be a fast-paced, high-scoring game so sign me up for a game stack. Porter has been a consistent fantasy option in the offense all season averaging 18.5 points and 7.5 rebounds and comes in having dropped 32 or more fantasy points in four of his last five games. The price is a little more appealing on DraftKings but I will have exposure on both sites and in all formats tonight.

Power Forward/Center

Nikola Jokic FD - $11500 DK - $11400
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 56.7 DK - 58.75

Joker has been a bit inconsistent lately relative to his price, but he is easily the top pay-up on this small, two-game slate. The good news is that he routinely gives us a floor of 50+ fantasy points with a ceiling in the 70's and while the Thunder are 4th in defensive efficiency overall this season they have struggled against centers ranking dead last in fantasy points against. On DraftKings, I am leaning towards one of, if not both of the top guards in SGS and Curry but on FanDuel Jokic is my top overall play.

Bol Bol FD - $5800 DK - $6200
Opponent - GS
Proj Pts FD - 32.88 DK - 34.05

Bol Bol has emerged as a star on this Magic team lately making three straight starts and has seen his minutes increase game by game. He has been terrific for fantasy in that time as well posting back-to-back double-doubles while also adding a whopping seven blocks in that time, as well. He also gets a plus matchup here against a Warriors defense that has not been up to par to start the year(24th in def eff) and best of all, ranks 23rd in rebounding which plays right into Bol's game. The price is on the rise but he is still in play on both sites and especially on FanDuel where the price remains below $6K.
