Daily Fantasy MLB Pitchers for FanDuel & DraftKings 9/17/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other pitching targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article but here we will look at other dudes to consider. In case you didn’t notice, on Saturday we released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and Player Lab which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings. It’s a robust set of tools; well beyond anything we’ve ever had and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. Using tools like these for the NFL season is crucial and you can grab a free trial to test out yourself. START YOUR FREE TRIAL! A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Jake Arrieta and Jeff Samardzija in the Main Article and will be going over a few more options below. Pitching Targets David Price FD 10600 DK 11600 Opponent - NYY (Mitchell) Park - @BOS FD - 37.81 DK - 24.69 Mmmmm... Where should I start.... I'll go ahead and start off by talking about Vegas. The Red Sox are heavily favored to win this game, and when I say "heavily" I mean it. It's a -285 money line on their side and I understand why. David Price is on the bump for the the Red Sox today and he's been phenomenal as of late. In his last five outings, he's sporting a 0.72 WHIP along with a 29.3 K% and 2.00 ERA. He's been the dominant David Price we've seen in the past and I don't see the Bombers slowing him down. Another reason why the money line is ridiculously high is because Bryan Mitchell is pitching for the Yankees. He only has two MLB starts under his belt, and going to Fenway to pitch against this loaded lineup is never an easy task. I expect Price to have some run support and to keep his hot-streak going. Arrieta will be the chalk play of the day, but I really like Price in all formats as well. Yu Darvish FD 10800 DK 12200 Opponent - OAK (Alcantara) Park - @TEX FD - 36.94 DK - 23.97 This guy is an absolute force when he's on the hill. I know he hasn't pitched much this season, but...

Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Max Scherzer and Jonathan Gray in the Main Article and will be going over a few more options below. Pitching Targets Rich Hill FD 9200 DK 11300 Opponent - MIA (Koehler) Park - @MIAFD - 36.01 DK - 23.59 Rich Hill is a guy I'd throw in tournaments, as we have a ton of great pitching options and he might be overlooked. He'll be going up against a Marlins' club that has struggled mightily over the last two weeks, as they own a .284 wOBA (26th in MLB) and .126 ISO (25th in MLB). This ball club has fallen apart and has not been to hit as of late, which is why I'm a fan of Hill's. Besides the appealing matchup, Hill is a guy that provides us a ton upside. He is boasting a 28.5 K% to go along with a 1.03 WHIP and 3.56 xFIP. The veteran has been stellar this year, so go ahead and plug him into some of your lineups. Felix Hernandez FD 9900 DK 8500 Opponent - OAK (Graveman) Park - @OAKFD - 32.28 DK - 21.46 I know Hernandez has looked bad in his last two starts, but we need to give him a pass. They were against the red-hot Texas Rangers and it's never easy to go up against the same team twice. So take it easy on the former Cy-Young award winner and let me tell you why I like the northpaw. Yes, King Felix's walks are high and strikeout percentage doesn't hit...

Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks FanDuel & DraftKings 9/10/16

Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks FanDuel & DraftKings 9/10/16 Welcome to our daily article breaking down some of the other stacking targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article and pitching breakdown but here we will look at other dudes to consider. A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Texas Rangers vs. Daniel Wright (LAA) Daniel Wright owns an ERA over 7 and an xFIP over 5, so it's safe to say it has not gone his way so far in the big leagues. Granted, he's only pitched in 13 MLB innings this season, so the sample size is just too small. So why exactly am I picking on him you may be asking yourselves? Well, it's because he's going up against the Texas Rangers. Do you know who owns the highest wOBA over the last two weeks? You guessed it -- it's the Rangers! Not only are they on top in that category, but they also own a .213 ISO (5th in MLB). They are hitting the crap out of baseball and I see that continuing today against the rookie. My top 4 guys to stack: Rougned Odor, Adrian Beltre, Carlos Beltran and Ian Desmond. Minnesota Twins vs. Mike Clevinger(CLE) Clevinger has 37 innings of work in the big leagues and it has not been pretty. He's sporting an ERA over...

You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Houston Astros vs. Derek Holland (TEX) Not a whole lot of stacking option on the early slate, but the Astros sure look good in this one. Not only do they get a ballpark boost heading to Arlington, but they will be going up against Derek Holland, who has struggled mightily this season. On the year, Holland owns a 4.68 ERA as well as a 5.17 xFIP and 5.09 SIERA. It's safe to say things haven't been great for the southpaw this season. I know he's looked good in his last few outings, but I don't see that lasting much longer. He does own a 5.17 xFIP for crying out loud! The other reason why I like the Astros today, is because of the way they have been hitting the baseball. In their last 30 contests, they own a .331 wOBA and .181 ISO (both 10th in MLB). This team has some huge upside with all those big bats and playing at Arlington will certainly help, which is why I'll stack these guys in...

Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Vincent Velasquez and Ivan Nova in the Main Article and will be going over a few more options below. Pitching Targets Marco Estrada FD 8000 DK 8600 Opponent - TB (Archer) Park - @TBFD - 24.32 DK - 16.22 I know this isn't a picture of Marco Estrada, so don't tear me apart in the comments section below. We have a ton of options on the early slate; Archer, Arrieta, Keauchal and Bumgarner. With all those options, I somehow ended up with Estrada in my lineups. And here's why: Estrada has been everything the Blue Jays had hoped for, and more. On the year, he's sporting a 1.08 and 3.37 ERA. Those are very impressive numbers, especially since he's in the toughest division in the league (AL East). Not only does his WHIP and ERA impress me, but the fact that opponents own a .199 AVG against the northpaw, just [shocked] me. My jaw honestly dropped, so it's safe to say that number is very attractive. His numbers are one reason why I'm plugging Estrada into my lineups, so lets move on to the next. And the next reason why I'll be using him is because of his matchup. Sure, the Rays rank 15th in wOBA and wRC+ this season against righties (15th is smack in the middle), but going up against this Rays' ball club gives Estrada some upside. They own a 23.6 K% against right-handed pitchers, which is [4th-highest] in the league. Estrada does a little fanning of his own...
