By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below!

What We Know

Avery Bradley has been ruled out against the Hawks

Bradley won't return for at least another game here, so we can still look at a couple of these guys. Marcus Smart will get the start, and he will definitely be in play. I like him in both cash games and tournaments. Isaiah Thomas and Jae Crowder will also pick up some usage, and both are good options against the Hawks. I think Tim Hardaway Jr. also gets a bump, as he won't be forced to see Avery Bradley standing in front of him.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been ruled out tonight

This puts Stanley Johnson firmly in play. He came in and played 38 minutes last night, and I would expect similar minutes tonight. The Jazz are one of the slower teams in the league, but Johnson is so cheap and doesn't need to do much to even destroy value. Johnson does get himself involved on offense, and I see him as close to a must play tonight. Darrun Hilliard will also pick up some minutes, but not enough to get my interest.

Nicolas Batum will return & Jeremy Lamb will sit out

Batum will come back and Lamb will take his spot on the end of the bench. I assume Batum is close to 100%, so I don't mind him coming off of injury in a great match up. Marco Belinelli will also be the main SG off the bench, but is nothing too special tonight.

What We're Waiting to Know

Zach LaVine is a GTD against the Thunder

LaVine missed last game, and it resulted in Shabbazz Muhammad getting some extra run. He definitely took advantage, finishing with 30 fantasy points. He may not have crazy upside, but the safety is there in a fast paced match up with the Thunder. They give up a ton of points on the perimeter, and Muhammad excels in fast paced games. He can be used in cash and tournaments if LaVine is ruled out.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

Kevin Love

K-Love and the rest of the Cavs disappointed against the Blazers, and will look to bounce back against the Kings. Love should have no problem scoring here, as the Kings give up the 2nd most points in the league to power forwards. They also give up a fair amount of rebounds, so Love should be in a good spot for an easy double-double. His price is pretty high, but there are plenty of ways to pay down today, and hopefully the price will keep some off of Love. His floor is around 35 today, and a ceiling over 50. James and Irving have done a good job getting Love involved early and often and he has averaged the most shots in the 1st quarter for the Cavs.

Joel Embiid

Embiid is pretty expensive, and any other player in a 28 minute limit, would not be in consideration here. However, Embiid has unlimited upside in these 28 minutes. He also exceeded his minutes cap 4 games in a row last week, so it seems to be more of a soft cap at this point. The Hornets have absolutely nobody to contain Embiid, let alone stop him. He has a floor of 35 here, and I would say his ceiling sits around 45. He is a little more expensive than Howard, but his floor is probably a little bit higher.
