What We Know

Reggie Jackson will remain out against the Nets

Reggie Jackson is supposedly "resting", though I'm pretty sure Stan Van Gundy is just tired of seeing his face. Ish Smith will get the start and is one of the best plays on the day. KCP will also see a few extra shots and minutes.

Austin Rivers will not play against the Suns

Rivers left last night's game and Doc Rivers said he will likely be out for a while. Jamal Crawford will pick up a few extra minutes and he has a great match-up with the Suns. Crawford is one of the better value plays on the board.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

Ish Smith

Ish Smith will start once again with Reggie Jackson out, and in result see at least 35 minutes. This match-up with the Nets is a perfect one for Smith as he relies on transition buckets and open shots. Jeremy Lin is one of the worst defenders on the perimeter and he will have no chance of staying with the speed of Ish Smith. Smith is easily one of the fastest guards in the league and should be able to use that well against the Nets. They have no rim defense either, as Brook Lopez isn't a guy who cares much about defense at this point. Smith is a guy I will have 100% of in both cash games and tournaments.

Jimmy Butler

The Bulls and Cavs will face off in one of the games that has the most to offer DFS-wise. The Cavs and Bulls are both in big spots and want this game in a big way. Butler has taken a huge load for this Bulls team with Wade out and Rondo struggling. Butler will definitely see the defense of LeBron James, which is as tough as anything. However, he has done well against the Cavs in the past as he isn't a guy who just relies on scoring. Butler will get the ball moving for these guys and I actually do expect this one to stay close. Butler is my favorite SF option in both cash games and tournaments.

  • The optimizer didn't have Ish Smith in it, instead it gave crap of 3 SG, 2 of which come off the bench. It's been very, very crappy the last week with picks that shouldn't even be on there. The picks are turning out to be high risk GPP picks instead of solid cash game picks like before.
