TOP GOALIE PLAY

Devan Dubnyk FD - $8300 DK - $7800
Opponent - STL
Proj Pts FD - 16.55 DK - 3.31

The Wild are currently listed as -190 favorites to win this game and I agree with their decision. Dubnyk is money on home-ice and he is coming off a shut-out in St. Louis. He has allowed only six goals in four games and he has shut-out upside again this evening as the Wild look to extend this series. Dubnyk is an elite play in all formats for this small three-game slate.

MINNESOTA WILD VS. ST LOUIS BLUES

STL Offense (14th) vs. MIN Defense (4th)

MIN Offense (2nd) vs. STL Defense (18th)

Series Update - STL 3-1

I think we all thought that Minnesota had absolutely no answer for the Blues and they would be put out of their misery in St. Louis. Well, we were wrong as Devan Dubnyk stopped all 28 shots and the Wild won 2-0. Dubnyk is very dangerous when he is on his game and now the series shifts back to Minnesota in one of the loudest arenas in the NHL. Look for another low scoring game this afternoon, but there are still a few cheaper players that we can consider here.
Charlie Coyle FD - $4600 DK - $4800
Opponent - STL
Proj Pts FD - 8.7 DK - 2.5
There has to be one goal scored in this game and there is a decent chance that this young man will be a part of it. He has a goal in each of his last two games while firing six shots on goal in those two games and skating an average of 17 minutes in this series so far. He is too cheap on both sites considering his recent production and he is a solid play in all formats.
Alexander Steen FD - $5600 DK - $4700
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 11.3 DK - 3.28
The Wild will try and take advantage of their last line change on home ice by doing their best to shut the Tarasenko line down. Look for more opportunities for this guy to do his thing today. He centers the second line and he plays on the Blues' deadly #1 PP unit. He has a goal, an assist, five shots and three blocks in his last two games. If you want to go contrarian in your GPP lineups, then Steen is a decent play today.
Ryan Suter FD - $5000 DK - $4800
Opponent - STL
Proj Pts FD - 8.44 DK - 2.53
This guy is about as cheap as he's been all year on both sites and he has an assist, nine shots and two blocks in his last two games and he's averaged around 28 minutes of ice-time in this series. There is very little upside to be had but he's a great cash game play in this matinee matchup today.

MONTREAL CANADIENS VS. NEW YORK RANGERS

MON Offense (15th) vs. NYR Defense (12th)

NYR Offense (4th) vs. MON Defense (5th)

Series Update - NYR 3-2

This has been an awesome series and now we head back to Montreal, Quebec for game six. Mika Zibanejad scored in overtime for the Rangers last game in a 3-2 victory. This should be another very close game today, but there should be a few goals scored so we should pay attention to a few players.
Brendan Gallagher FD - $5400 DK - $4400
Opponent - NYR
Proj Pts FD - 8.83 DK - 2.58
This wiry veteran should play a key role in whether or not the Habs force game seven. He scored a powerplay goal last game on 5 shots and he now has a goal, two assists and a whopping 18 shots on goal in this series. He is one of my favorite overall plays today from a PTS/$ perspective.
Mika Zibanejad FD - $5600 DK - $5200
Opponent - MON
Proj Pts FD - 11.08 DK - 3.17
It took awhile, but finally, there is a Ranger player who stands out above the rest from a fantasy perspective. He had a monster game last time out with a goal, an assist, three shots and four blocks while logging 17 minutes of ice-time. The Rangers have found a way to score a few goals against Price in this series and this guy is a solid play in all formats.
Shea Weber FD - $5500 DK - $5900
Opponent - NYR
Proj Pts FD - 12.76 DK - 3.91
This guy does it all for the Canadiens and he's about as safe as it comes which is much needed during the playoffs, as inconsistency is quite common around the league. He didn't record a point or shot last game, but he blocked seven shots. So far this series, he has a PP goal, two assists, eleven shots and 19 blocks.

EDMONTON OILERS VS. SAN JOSE SHARKS

EDM Offense (12th) vs. SJ Defense (2nd)

SJ Offense (13th) vs. EDM Defense (11th)

Series Update - EDM 3-2

This has been an interesting series. These are the scores in the first five games. 3-2, 2-0, 1-0, 7-0 and 4-3. San Jose has 13 total goals and Edmonton has nine. San Jose scored seven goals in one game, so we need to keep that in our minds here today. The Former Montreal Canadien David Desharnais scored the overtime winner last game for the Oilers in a very exciting, back and forth affair. The Oilers out-shot the Sharks 48-30. We just don't know what may happen in this game, but there are definitely some good plays here.

Leon Draisaitl FD - $6400 DK - $6700
Opponent - SJ
Proj Pts FD - 16.23 DK - 4.62
After not shooting a puck on net or scoring a point in two games, this guy had two assists and four shots on goal last game while skating for 28 minutes. He only skated 10 minutes in the previous game, because the Oilers were losing badly, so they rested their top line for most of the third period. The German youngster skates alongside Connor McDavid on the #1 line and the #1 PP unit and he is a good play in all formats today.
Patrick Marleau FD - $5600 DK - $4900
Opponent - EDM
Proj Pts FD - 10.19 DK - 2.98
This ageless wonder has been tearing it up lately for the Sharks as he has two goals, an assist and four shots while averaging 20 minutes of ice-time. He plays on the #2 line and the #1 PP unit for San Jose. He is too cheap for his current production and he has the safety and upside that we are looking for.
Andrej Sekera FD - $3600 DK - $3800
Opponent - SJ
Proj Pts FD - 10.24 DK - 3.02
Here is another guy who is way too cheap on both sites. He has an assist and five shots while averaging 26 minutes of ice-time in his last two games and he has nine blocks in his last three games. Sekera is a great play in all formats.
