Chicago Cubs

Welp, I didn't plan on putting the Cubs in the top spot here. However, when looking through the games this morning, Wrigley Field is blowing out at over 20 MPH. Wrigley is easily one of the most influenced stadiums in baseball by wind and you always want to keep an eye out for it. Scott Feldman may not be the worst pitcher around, though he's not very good either. He's 34 years old and doesn't have many, if any, years left in the tank. He allowed a .342 combined wOBA against both righties and lefties and followed that up with some even worse peripherals. In just under 80 innings, Feldman managed to allow a 58% LOB (left-on-base) rate, which is just stupid. Every pitcher usually sits around 8% and Feldman has never been a guy with more success out of the stretch. The regression will hit him early and often this year and the Cubs should do some damage. While guys like Rizzo and Bryant are an easy choice for your stacks, make sure you don't get cute. With that being said, this offense is very good and can put together runs from a lot of different spots. If you want to get sneaky, don't be hesitant in attacking the bottom of that order. The Cubs now hold the highest implied team run total on the board and are my favorite team in both cash games and tournaments.

Main stack - Kyle Schwarber, Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Ben Zobrist, Addison Russell

Sneaky stack - Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell, Willson Contreras, Javier Baez

Texas Rangers

The Rangers were originally slated to be my favorite offense on this slate, though the wind in Wrigley Field changed that around. The Rangers, who have been hitting the ball well, will be facing off with Zach Eflin. Eflin is not good at all and hasn't shown any signs of promise. He's allowed a.341 combined wOBA and has had a lot of trouble keeping the ball in the park (2.27 HR/9). He now travels into Globe Life Park, which is a top 6 ballpark for hitting. The Rangers hit righties well (.322 team wOBA) and are also much better at home, where the ball flies. The Rangers lineup is ever-changing and will play a huge impact on how I attack the team. If Lucroy remains in the 3 or 4 spot, you almost have to play him. If he drops back down to 7 or 8, I'm fine going elsewhere. Rougned Odor is another one of my favorites, as I could see him going a bit under-owned. He's one of the most powerful 2B in baseball and should have no problem making contact with Eflin. If you're trying to get a little sneaky, Joey Gallo has as much power as anyone and should be lesser-owned than the likes of Deshields and Andrus. The Phillies also have a bad bullpen, so it makes sense for the Rangers to be projected for 5.51 runs. In cash games, I will have a nice mix of Rangers and Cubs, as these 2 offenses have a ton of upside and safety in these respective match-ups.

Main stack - Delino DeShields, Jonathan Lucroy, Nomar Mazara, Rougned Odor, Mike Napoli

Sneaky stack - Elvis Andrus, Jonathan Lucroy, Rougned Odor, Mike Napoli, Joey Gallo
