Minnesota Twins

Dylan Holmberg is not a good pitcher. He's been getting insanely lucky as of late and it's not going to last much longer at all. He is holding a ridiculous sub .150 BABIP and is due to be knocked out of the game in the 1st While that's a bit extreme, I don't see Holmberg lasting more than 4 or 5 more starts before going to either AAA or the bullpen. He's a soft lefty with no changeup and a weak slider. The Twins host Holmberg in Progressive Field, where they have ranked 10th with a .319 wOBA. Miguel Sano and Brian Dozier are both elite against lefties, sporting a +.400 wOBA over the last 2 seasons. Robbie Grossman sported a .408 wOBA against lefties in 2016 and as a switch-hitter, always holds the platoon advantage. You then get into guys with a bunch of power and some speed. Kennys Vargas and Eduardo Escobar are pretty safe, so you can use either of them in your stack. yron Buxton is better against lefties and will end up being a very good hitter. The Twins should be pretty highly owned and if you want to get crazy, I couldn't blame you.

Main Stack - Miguel Sano, Brian Dozier, Robbie Grossman, Eduardo Escobar

Sneaky Stack - Miguel Sano, Brian Dozier, Kennys Vargas, Byron Buxton

New York Yankees

Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez are hitting everything in sight. They are both having tremendous seasons and you can expect them to continue this performance for at least another series. They face off with Ricky Nolasco, who has been absolutely HORRIBLE. He has been horrible against both lefties and righties, tall guys and short guys. Nolasco has pitched 70 innings this year, in which he's allowed an astounding 21 home runs. The leash is short on Nolasco and I don't see any chance he lasts much longer as a starter. Once Nolasco is out of the game, the league's 23rd best bullpen comes into the game. They won't have fun with the Yanks here and I expect them to put up at least 5 or 6 runs. Once you get past the big 2 of Judge and Sanchez, you have a lot of ways to go. Matt Holliday is playing well in New York and already has 11 homers against righties, so he's obviously in play. Starlin Castro and Aaron Hicks have power potential and are at positions where the opportunity cost isn't as high.

Main Stack - Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Matt Holliday, Starlin Castro

Sneaky Stack - Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Aaron Hicks, Brett Gardner
