New York Yankees vs. Junior Guerra(MIL)

The Yankees bats could very well rival the Rockies tonight even though the game is in Coors Field. The Yankees total is the second highest of the night at 11 and the Yankees trail the Rockies in implied runs by less than a quarter run. Both are elite plays but I lean on the Yankees s my top stack as you can most likely get a bit of separation in ownership without sacrificing any upside. Even if the ownership mirrors that of the Rockies, the Yankees are still an elite play in a matchup vs. the Brewers and Junior Guerra who has been a borderline train wreck lately. He returned from the DL in late may and looked good going 5+ innings in three starts while limiting opponents to one earned run or less. The success ended there as he has allowed 21 earned runs in 26 innings since while walking over 6.5 batters per nine and giving up a 23% HR/FB rate. Build your stack around the big bats in Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge and fill in around them with Brett Gardner, Didi Gregorious, and even Chase Headley.

Cleveland Indians vs. Jordan Zimmerman(DET)

This game comes with some risk as early in the day the weather forecast is calling for 50-60% chance of rain around game time. I will be monitoring this throughout the day and updating in the chatroom but if it looks like it is going to start, I will be loading up on some Indians bats. I absolutely love picking on Jordan Zimmerman and his 5.58 ERA. Even his 5.30 xFIP and .304 BABIP(just 9 points higher than career mark) suggest this is who he is now. For fantasy, he doesn't just give up runs, he also gives up the long ball(16.4% HR/FB rate) and has given up four in his last three starts and 21 for the season. To make matters worse for Zimm, he has been much worse on the road with a 6.45 ERA and has given up a .398 wOBA against away from Comerica Park and the Indians currently rank inside the Top 10 when looking at team splits vs. right-handed pitching. Jason Kipnis leads off in front of some powerful bats but if you fear his slump, he can be avoided while you stack the two through five bats of Lindor, Brantley, Encarnacion, and Jose Ramirez. The possibility of rain and the fact the slate features two monster totals in Yankee Stadium and Coors Field that the Indians could come at a huge ownership discount.
