Kansas City Royals

The White Sox rotation is just embarrassing. Without Jose Quintana, it's like a bunch of different faulty pitching machines that can't be figured out. Today, it's Derek Holland once again. As a lefty, Holland has been one of the worst pitchers in the league against righties with a .397 wOBA. He's allowed 23 homers to righties and while I don't think it should be possible, it will only go up. There's a chance he might actually work with one of those charities who give money away when an HR is hit. Giving up HR's is certainly his best skill against righties and faces off with some guys who have to hit in Kauffman Stadium. Kepp in mind, a guy like Lorenzo Cain is suppressed mightily by the ballpark. He is one of the best OF's in this league and in Guaranteed ate Field, has the opportunity to show that. He's my favorite Royal and my favorite overall bat on the slate. After him, you can go anywhere. If we think Holland will be knocked out early, don't be afraid to jump on a few lefties. They will be 5-10% owned and could easily see 2 or 3 bats against a righty bullpen arm.

Main Stack - Lorenzo Cain, Whit Merrifield, Melky Cabrera, Jorge Bonifacio
Sneaky Stack - Lorenzo Cain, Melky Cabrera, Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas

Milwuakee Brewers

As a Cubs fan, I hate this entire team. As a DFS player, I love them. They have a ton of power against right-handed pitching and can steal bases as well. They have the ability to put up a lot of runs and they seem to do in a blink of an eye. Today, they face off with Sal Romano. Romano is not a big prospect and isn't expected to be long for the majors. While he's only pitched 30 innings and it's far too low to judge anything off, what we have seen is not encouraging. He's given up 4 homers and a .371 combined wOBA against some pretty lackluster teams. He now moves into face a Brewers team that can hit with the best of 'em. Braun and Thames are going to be the top 2 no matter the pitcher and you work out from there. Villar is nearly a must as he can score FP's in so many different ways. If you think the Brewers will have a big game and Villar won't, I'm calling you crazy. The Brew also traded for Neil Walker last night, so it'll be interesting to see where he slides in the order. I presume in the 4 hole. The bottom of the order isn't great, but they have a lot of power. Broxton, Arcia, and Pina all have the ability to park one, but don't offer much in terms of consistency and cash game value as a 1-off.

Main Stack - Jonathan Villar, Eric Thames, Ryan Braun, Neil Walker
Sneaky Stack - Eic Thames, Ryan Braun, Keon Broxton, Orlando Arcia
