GOALIE

Pekka Rinne FD - $8100 DK - $7800
Opponent - CGY
Proj Pts FD - 17.75 DK - 4.44

After allowing eight goals in his first two games, the wily veteran has been nothing less than sensational in his last four starts while posting a very impressive .965 save %, a 0.99 GAA with a shutout. The Flames own the 4th worst offense in the league with only 2.50 goals scored per game and Rinne's record is currently 3-0 in his home barn. The veteran netminder has been absolute money on home-ice this season and he is an elite play in every single format this evening.

Corey Crawford FD - $9300 DK - $7900
Opponent - VEG
Proj Pts FD - 14.76 DK - 3.69

We all see and/or hear the news whether we want to or not. Vegas is down to their third-string goalie who I watched play the other night and he looked decent, but starting your first ever NHL game is an entirely different thing. I feel that this puts a lot less pressure on Crawford since his team should be able to score a few goals today. He is having a great start to the year as he has a 1.86 GAA and a .945 save % through seven games but because of the fact that the Hawks are on the road, I do not like targeting Crawford in cash game formats, but I believe that he is a solid GPP play this evening.

CENTERS

Jack Eichel FD - $7800 DK - $7000
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 14.81 DK - 4.26

Do you think that this guy has a chip on his shoulder after being drafted #2 behind Connor McDavid in the 2015 NHL draft? I do and he is proving to the league that he will be here to stay for a long, long time. The young phenom already has four goals, seven assists and 24 shots on goal through nine games and he plays on the #1 line and the #1 PP unit in Buffalo. The Red Wings rank 20th in the league with 3.22 goals allowed per game, so look for Eichel to find the score-sheet this evening. Fire him up in all formats.

Stack with: Evander Kane, Kyle Okposo

Tyler Seguin FD - $8600 DK - $8000
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 21.1 DK - 6.22

You are going to keep seeing this guy a lot this year because he is good. Simple as that. The veteran superstar already has six goals, five assists and a whopping 45 shots on goal through eight games and the Stars' offense runs through him and he's practically matchup proof. It's a good idea to get a ton of exposure to him in all formats on any given day until he at least shows signs of cooling off.

Stack with: Jamie Benn, Alexander Radulov

Bo Horvat FD - $5300 DK - $4000
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 9.51 DK - 2.75

If we want to fit a couple of superstars into our lineups, we need to find some value and provides just that. He loves shooting the puck and he has a goal, two assists and 11 shots in his last three games. I prefer him in GPP lineups on FanDuel but with his 44K price tag on DraftKings, I love him in all formats.

Stack with: Daniel Sedin,(PP) Henrik Sedin (PP)

WINGERS

Nikita Kucherov FD - $8800 DK - $7800
Opponent - CAR
Proj Pts FD - 20.39 DK - 5.9

If I had to vote for MVP award through the first couple weeks of the season, it would be a close race between Nikita Kucherov and his linemate Steven Stamkos. They currently sit 1/2 in points and have helped the Tampa Bay Lightning to the top overall record at 7-1-1. Kucherov sits tied with Alexander Ovechkin with 10 goals, three of which have been game-winners. He has scored in all but one game this season and while that pace is impossible to keep up, he is an elite play in all formats until he and Bolts come back down to Earth.

Stack with: Steven Stamkos, Vladimir Namestnikov

Patrick Kane FD - $8600 DK - $7400
Opponent - VEG
Proj Pts FD - 16.18 DK - 4.59

This guy should have a hay day firing pucks at whoever Vegas puts between the pipes tonight and he's had a solid start to the season so far. He's on a five-game point streak with two goals and three assists and he has 11 shots in his last three games. Kane is Chicago's best player and he is an elite play in all formats today, especially on DraftKings in the mid $7K range.

Stack with: Jonathan Toews,(PP) Brandon Saad (PP)

Anders Lee FD - $5600 DK - $5000
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 12.56 DK - 3.57

The Islanders aren't the best team on paper, but I've watched this guy play with Tavares recently and they've shown some good chemistry together. The Coyotes are awful on defense as they rank 2nd worst in the league with 4.25 goals allowed per game so far this season and Lee has three goals, an assist, six shots and three blocks in his last two games. He plays with Tavares on the #1 line and the #1 PP unit and at these cheap prices, lock and load in all formats against a vulnerable Coyotes defense.

Stack with: Johnny Tavares, Jordan Eberle

DEFENSEMEN

Duncan Keith FD - $5700 DK - $5200
Opponent - VEG
Proj Pts FD - 11.89 DK - 3.51

Do you think I like Chicago today? The exposure continues with their best defenseman who has had a great start to the season. The veteran American has five assists, 10 shots and five blocks in his last four games and he plays on the #1 PP unit for the Hawks. He is one of the safest plays today, so make sure that he is in a large majority of your cash game lineups.

Jared Spurgeon FD - $4200 DK - $4900
Opponent - VAN
Proj Pts FD - 11.84 DK - 3.52

It looks like the Wild have found their groove after a slow start and this young man is too cheap for what he has been bringing to the table recently. In his last four games, Spurgeon has a goal,  four assists, 12 shots and 14 blocks and he plays on the #1 PP unit for the Wild. Fire him up in all formats against a weak Canucks team.
