Hello hockey fans and welcome to another day of NHL hockey here at DFSR. After a wild and exciting Thursday, things slow down a little bit today. There is a game in Vegas that starts at 6 p.m. ET but we will be focusing our attention on the main five-game slate on both sites that starts at 7 p.m. ET. After allowing five goals two games ago, the reigning Vezina Trophy winner allowed only one goal in his last outing vs. the Sabres and tonight Bobrovsky and the Blue Jackets welcome the Jets to town who are ranked 21st in the league on offense with 2.88 goals per game. The Jets lost 2-1 in overtime last night in Pittsburgh, so this will be a tough outing this evening against Columbus who are ranked 5th defensively while allowing only 2.44 goals per game. Goalie Bob is fifth in league with five wins and look for him to earn another victory tonight. He is my favorite goalie in all formats.
Opponent - NAS
Proj Pts FD - 17.94 DK - 4.49
While Bobrovsky is my favorite play in all formats today, this Canadian net-minder is a very close second. Crawford has had a great start to the year as he also has five wins to go along with a GAA of 2.13 and a .937 save percentage. Tonight`s opponent the Nashville Predators have been poor lately as they have scored only five goals in their last three games and if you don`t like Bobrovsky, then fire up Crawford in all formats.

Proj Pts FD - 18.89 DK - 5.5
This superstar is a tough fade on a full slate, so on this medium-sized slate, I feel that he is very hard to ignore, especially against Calgary and their below average 16th ranked defense. Seguin already has six goals, five assists and a whopping 52 shots on goal which is first in the entire league and he is currently on a six-game point streak with five goals and five assists. He recorded an assist last night while firing four shots on goal in Edmonton and look for him to continue his point streak this evening as the Stars` offense runs through him. Seguin is an elite play in all formats.

Proj Pts FD - 12.65 DK - 3.62
We always try to pick on weak defenses and here have Foligno and the Blue Jackets facing off against the Jets who have allowed a league-worst 3.50 goals per game. The veteran forward has two goals, an assist and six shots on goal in his last two games while skating an average of 20 minutes per game and he scored a goal vs. the Jets four games ago. Foligno skates on the top line and top PP unit in Columbus and he is a solid play in all formats.

Proj Pts FD - 14.94 DK - 4.24
In case you didn`t know, this guy is still one of the best players in the NHL. The superstar winger has a goal in each of his last three games while firing 14 shots on goal and he has five goals and seven assists in ten games. The Predators have been playing some bad hockey lately and Kane plays on the second line and the top powerplay unit for the Blackhawks. Fire him up in all formats this evening.

Opponent - CAR
Proj Pts FD - 15.43 DK - 4.28
This veteran winger has been one of the hottest players in the NHL this season and the Blues recently promoted him to the first line with Vladimir Tarasenko and Brayden Schenn. He is on a five-game point streak with five goals, two assists and 12 shots on goal and he is ranked third in the league with 14 points and tied for third with seven goals. Look for the veteran to extend his points streak tonight and he is one of my favorite plays at any position in every single format.

Opponent - DAL
Proj Pts FD - 9.8 DK - 2.82
In order to fit the two guys above into our lineups, we need some value and this 19-year-old winger gives us just that. In his last two games, he has a goal, two assists and seven shots on goal, while skating an average of 16 minutes per game. The Stars allowed five goals in Edmonton tonight, so they will be tired. At these cheap prices, Tkachuk is a decent play in all formats.

Proj Pts FD - 12.88 DK - 3.71
We are going to pick on Winnipeg again and this guy is too cheap on both sites considering his current production. He recorded a goal, an assist, three shots and two blocks in his last game vs. the Sabres and he now has two goals, five assists, 26 shots and 18 blocks this season while averaging 24 minutes of ice-time-per-game. Fire him up in all formats with confidence.
Opponent - CAR
Proj Pts FD - 9.16 DK - 2.78
We finish today off with an awesome value play. This young man is second in the league in blocked shots with 34 and he has two goals and 16 shots in 10 games. Plug him into every one of your cash game lineups and feel very confident.
