What We Know

Justin Holiday has ben ruled out for the birth of his child

Holiday did a good thing in giving the team full notice ahead of this game, allowing changes to be made well ahead of time. Kris Dunn will draw the start and should draw at least 34+ minutes. He's firmly in play and we'll get to him later. Jerian Grant and Denzel Valentine will also get a small boost, but I wouldn't say either are close to the play Dunn is. Holiday is a big shot taker, so everyone will see a slight usage bump when on the floor.

What We're Waiting to Know

Carmelo Anthony and Steven Adams are both questionable against the Bulls

Melo is looking like he has a better shot to play than Adams, but both are closer to 0% than 100%. Let's assume both play. Russell Westbrook is a fine play, but nobody else really warrants much attention. Now let's say both are out. Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Jerami Grant, and Dakari Johnson are all interesting. Westbrook and George would see huge usage bumps against a porous Bulls defense. Johnson and Grant aren't as good of plays, but both are cheap and will see increased minutes. If just Adams misses and Melo plays, Westbrook and Dakari benefit most. George can still be played.

Mike Conley is questionable to play with an achilles injury

Conley is obviously 1b on this team behind Gasol, so his absence leaves a huge gap. If Conley happens to be out, Chalmers, Evans, and Gasol will all benefit. Against a fast-paced Pacers squad, they would all be in play in all formats. The Grizzlies are a team I'll be all over if Conley is out.

Every Lineup Guys

Kris Dunn FD - $6100 DK - $4900
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 33.06 DK - 31.53

Justin Holiday has already been ruled out, giving Kris Dunn the start and a presumed 34+ minutes. We touched on him in the main picks article and everything still stands true. Dunn is a legitimate guard who can score, pass, and play defense. He will be a steal leader when given the minutes and if you look at his box score, his talent is obvious. Now that he's able to get some reliable minutes, I'm not sure there's a way he misses value. Of course, there's foul trouble or an injury, but if he sees the expected 34+, he won't. His price is fair on both sites, but on DK, he's close to a must at $4900.
