GOALIE

Corey Crawford FD - $8500 DK - $8300
Opponent - ANA
Proj Pts FD - 17.11 DK - 4.28

It's a smaller five-game slate tonight with some high-powered offenses, but easily my top option between the pipes is Corey Crawford. As of Sunday night, the Blackhawks are the biggest favorites on the night(-180) in a great matchup at home vs. a Ducks team that has struggled recently losing three straight and scoring just four total goals. Crawford has been playing great lately(won 3 of last 4 starts), especially considering he has faced 36 or more shots in three straight games which not only gives him a high floor but also a ton of upside. Roll him out in all formats.

Also Consider: Carey Price(MTL) and Connor Hellebuyck(WPG) in GPP formats

CENTERS

Sidney Crosby FD - $8600 DK - $7700
Opponent - PHI
Proj Pts FD - 15.91 DK - 4.67

The #1 play at any position today is superstar Sidney Crosby who has really picked up his game since the Pens lost Evgeni Malkin to an upper-body injury three games ago. Sid comes into tonight with back to back multi-point games and at least one point in three straight and five of his last six games. Whether or not Malkin makes his way back into the lineup, look for Crosby's streak to continue as he gets an elite matchup vs. the Flyers who have not only lost seven straight but have given up four or more goals in four straight games. Find room for Sid in your lineups in all formats tonight.

Stack with: Patric Hornqvist, Conor Sheary

Sean Couturier FD - $6700 DK - $7000
Opponent - PIT
Proj Pts FD - 15.21 DK - 4.21

In the same game, we get another top fantasy option in Sean Couturier who is in the middle of a breakout season. Despite the Flyers struggles recently, Couturier continues to roll with points in four of his last five games(25 on the season) including two multi-point efforts and even provides us a nice floor for cash games averaging over three shots per game for the season. While the Pens offense has taken a step forward lately their defense continues to ride near the bottom of the league(28th) giving Couturier a great shot to hit and exceed value tonight. Roll him out in all formats and consider a game stack in GPP formats.

Stack with: Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek

Also Consider: Vincent Trocheck(FLA)

WINGERS

Taylor Hall FD - $7200 DK - $7500
Opponent - FLA
Proj Pts FD - 15.44 DK - 4.5

This will be my third straight article where I have mentioned Hall so you probably get the point by now but if not, let me go over it again. In his second season with the Devils, is already halfway to his point total of 53 last season in just 23 games and is well on his way to career-highs across the board. He is coming off back to back multi-point efforts and also provides us with a high floor averaging 3.5 shots per game and now gets an elite matchup at home vs. the Panthers who rank 30th in defense allowing 35.9 shots and 3.45 goals per game. Fire him up in all formats.

Stack with: Nico Hischier, Jesper Bratt

Brandon Saad FD - $5800 DK - $5800
Opponent - ANA
Proj Pts FD - 10.22 DK - 2.96

After a red-hot start to the season, Saad fell completely off the radar as he slumped hard and recorded just two points over a 15 game stretch. Even with a salary that has dropped below the $6K mark on both sites, I can't trust him in cash games but the good news is he broke out in a big way on Saturday night with a goal and an assist while recording eight shots on goal in 21 minutes of ice-time. The shot volume has been a constant all season as he is averaging 3.7 per game over his last 10 games and 3.3 per game on the season. He skates with Toews and Panik on the listed top line and also joins sniper Patrick Kane on the top powerplay unit. Fire him up in GPP formats tonight.

Stack with: Jonathan Toews, Richard Panik, Patrick Kane(PP)

Josh Anderson FD - $4400 DK - $4200
Opponent - MON
Proj Pts FD - 8.9 DK - 2.49

Even with points in back to back games, Anderson doesn't exactly give us much upside with just 12 points on the season but in the low to mid $4K range on both sites, is a top value play tonight. One thing he does provide on a consistent basis is shot volume and a high floor and he comes in with four or more shots in four straight games and is averaging three shots per game on the season. The matchup coudl be a tough one if Carey Price is back between the pipes after his return with a shutout on Saturday but the price is right as he provides some salary relief to fit some other top players in your lineup.

Stack with: Artemi Panarin, Pierre-Luc Dubois

Also Consider: Nino Niederreiter(MIN)

DEFENSEMEN

Ryan Suter FD - $5300 DK - $5000
Opponent - WPG
Proj Pts FD - 11.61 DK - 3.49
Jared Spurgeon FD -
$4700 DK - $4900
Opponent - WPG
Proj Pts FD - 11.25 DK - 3.32

I list both Wild D men as they are pretty much interchangeable from a fantasy perspective with nearly identical averages for the season. They skate together on the top unit and both get over 25 minutes of ice time and both contribute on the powerplay. They both also provide a decent floor with a nice balance of shots and blocks with Suter leading in the department and Spurgeon leading in blocks. It also helps that they come to us in the next tier down in salary from the top guys and I usually just ride with the cheaper option on any given night with Spurgeon getting the edge on FanDuel at a $600 discount. They are both playable in all formats.

Jordie Benn FD - $3700 DK - $3100
Opponent - CBJ
Proj Pts FD - 7.11 DK - 2.08

On a night with limited options on the point, I will turn to a punt play to provide a ton of salary relief to help fit in some top forwards in great spots. Tonight I will turn to Jordie Benn who has little to no upside but does give us a decent floor(for the price) with his shot blocking as he has 28 over his last 10 games and 44 for the season.

Also Consider: Duncan Keith(CHI)
