What We Know

J.J. Redick has been ruled out against the Raptors with a hamstring injury

With Embiid and Booker questionable, we may be looking at a very short-handed Sixers squad. As for the Redick news, I don't think it's hard to figure out. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot is a guy they trust a lot and have no issue giving him 35 minutes. He's a guy I'll have almost everywhere at close to minimum price. We'll get to rest of the guys with Embiid.

What We're Waiting to Know

Joel Embiid and Trevor Booker are questionable against the Raptors

Let's assume both of these guys play. The game will still be close and you can consider anyone in a tournament. Simmons would fall down a little bit and Johnson/Holmes would go irrelevant. If they both sit out, Richaun Holmes will get 25 minutes and be relevant in all formats. He's a great point per minute option and the Raptors are nothing to be scared of. Ben Simmons, Covington, TLC, and McConnell will also see a few extra shots each and have to be considered with just 5 games on the slate.

Kristaps Porzingis "doesn't see why he wouldn't be able to play" vs the Celtics

I don't know, maybe because you have a knee injury. Assuming he gives it a go, you can ignore Michael Beasley and anyone else in the frontcourt. The Celtics aren't an easy match-up and this situation is going to be very fluid. If Porzingis is out again, go ahead and plug in Michael Beasley who's still too cheap for 30+ minutes.

Donovan Mitchell has been ruled questionable to return from injury

Mitchell is obviously the main scorer on this offense, and he sees a bump with Rudy Gobert out of the lineup. However, this isn't a good match-up and the game will be extremely low-scoring. If he's out, Rodney Hood and Alec Burks are both going to see 25+ minutes and are at least decent cash game value plays. Ricky Rubio will also see some extra ball-handling responsibility. If Mithell plays, I don't have much interest in this team as a whole.

Jaylen Brown is questionable to play against the Knicks

Jaylen Brown is a huge piece of this offense, so there's definitely a hole to be filled if he's out. Marcus Smart will probably play close to 40 minutes and Semi Ojeleye will get up to 30. Irving, Horford, and Tatum will also see some extra shots. The Knicks are a very below average defense and you can target any of these guys with just 5 games to choose from.

Danny Green and Pau Gasol are questionable

Danny Green returned from injury last night and ended up limping off the floor towards the end of the game. Safe to assume he sits. Pau Gasol is questionable with some thigh tightness and will probably be held out against the Jazz who are missing Gobert. LaMarcus Aldridge would pick up a few extra minutes and would have to be considered one of the top plays of the slate. Lauvergne may also pick up an extra 5-10 minutes and is relevant in tournaments. if Green sits, who knows. You tell me. There are 7 different guys to give 25 minutes to and I will not be the one trying to hit that lottery.
