A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good.   Stack Targets   Baltimore Orioles vs. Mike Pelfrey(Detroit) This is far and away the best stacking option of the night. We've got the team with the second highest slugging % and OPS against right-handed pitching going up against a guy who's allowing lefties to hit over .400, has an xFIP of over 5.00 and has as many walks as strikeouts on the season. Did I mention the game is in Baltimore, one of the more hitter friendly parks in baseball? Talk about a recipe for disaster (at least for Pelfrey that is). Because of the splits, I would go ahead and plug Matt Wieters and Chris Davis into your lineups to take advantage of Pelfrey's inability to get left-handed hitters out (you can go Alvarez over Davis if he gets a start, but I personally like Davis more). From there you can really go a number of different ways as our system really likes Jonathan Schoop, Manny Machado, and Adam Jones quite a bit. If you can afford it, I'd personally pay up for Machado and Jones, both of...

Enjoy.   Miami Heat at Toronto Raptors Analysis With the injuries to both of these teams starting centers, small-ball has become the style of play that is going to be seen throughout the rest of this series. Game 4 had some very interesting storyline's that should be mentioned here: Although he didn't outproduce him, Cory Joseph saw more minutes than Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan continued his wildly inconsistent postseason with a crushing sub 10 FP performance, Bismack Biyombo had a solid double-double in 31 minutes of action, the Heat's 4 returning starters each saw about 40+ minutes in this one, and Justice Winslow saw 31 minutes (and produced fairly well) off the bench. A lot of this game is going to hinge on the health of Whiteside, because if he can go it changes the dynamic of the game entirely. Given that the Heat are now tied in this series, and the fact that Whiteside has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL, I think it's likely that he's out at least 1 more game (but I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV so how much do I really know?). Top Plays Dwyane Wade - FD 8100 DK 8300 Opponent - TOR FD Proj. Pts - 39.18 DK Proj. Pts - 39.79 Joe Johnson - FD 5100 DK 5100 Opponent - TOR FD Proj. Pts - 23.97 DK Proj. Pts - 26.03 Goran Dragic - FD 6500 DK 6400 Opponent - TOR FD Proj. Pts - 29.59 DK Proj. Pts - 31 Our system likes the following guys from the Heat, and with each of these guys seeing a bump in minutes and usage with Whiteside off the floor, I have to agree with the system. Wade is playing (almost) like he was back in '05-'06 when he won a championship, playing super aggressive, attacking basketball on the offensive end (as evidenced...

Stack Targets Note - The Rockies and Diamondbacks are in Coors Field and are the top 2 stacks on the board. Let's look at some stacks that will go a lot less owned. New York Yankees vs. Kris Medlen (Royals) Park - Yankees Stadium Very similar story in this one as yesterday, as we have some strong left-handed hitters playing in a hitter friendly ballpark against a right-handed pitcher who gets hit hard against lefties. Kris Medlen has been nothing to brag about this year, sporting an ERA close to 7 and has walked nearly as many hitters as he's struck out. Diving a little deeper into the numbers, Medlen has an xFIP of 5.28 and a BABIP of .324 (which is great since he doesn't strike a lot of guys out). Moving into the splits, Medlen has struggled quite a bit against left-handed hitters, which is something the Yankees are not in short supply of. Medlen has an xFIP of 5.89, a BB/9 of 6.17 (yes you're reading that correctly), and a FB% of nearly 45% against lefties this season. All...

I like many thought it more of a formality than a prediction that the Spurs would win this series, but that was before Oklahoma City seemed to find the recipe for hanging with San Antonio. Now I don't think you can bank on KD outscoring the entire Spurs team in the 4th, or Westbrook notching more assists than the entire Spurs team combined (something I'm sure Popovich was just giddy about), but the momentum in this series has definitely shifted in the Thunder's favor. I do expect San Antonio to play better tonight at home, but this game could really go either way. Top Plays Russell Westbrook - FD 11100 DK 11100 Opponent - SAS FD Proj. Pts - 54.71 DK Proj. Pts - 56.59 Kevin Durant - FD 10100 DK 9500 Opponent - SAS FD Proj. Pts - 43.92 DK Proj. Pts - 46.54 Steven Adams - FD 5200 DK 6100 Opponent - SAS FD Proj. Pts - 26.68 DK Proj. Pts - 27.16 For the Thunder we have the usual suspects, plus the surprise appearance of one Steven Adams, who has really been a nice surprise for fantasy owners willing to roster him in this series. Adams has seen 36+ minutes in each of his last 3 games, and it seems that he has pushed far ahead of Kanter and Ibaka in Billy Donovan's rotation. Not to mention the fact that Tim Duncan decided to retire early and not tell anyone, Adams is now frequently covered by either West or Diaw, both of whom he has a sizable height advantage over. I won't spend much time on Russ and KD because unless you're completely new to this whole NBA thing you know what these guys are capable of. Although he's more...

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel – 3/25 & 3/26

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 3/25 & 3/26 What an interesting weekend it's been thus far for the NCAA tournament. The way things have shaped up, we've basically got the ACC tournament on one side versus the best from the other conferences. I can honestly say I've never seen 4 teams from the same conference in the Elite Eight, so it's certainly been a tournament to remember. Today we've got you covered for the 4 game slate that covers the next two days to see who gets to punch their ticket to Houston and the Final Four. Let's get it going. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces all of our picks. Sign up now and get our lineup construction tool for FanDuel & DraftKings. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Elgin CookFD - 8500 DK - 7800 I've been on this guy the whole tournament, and he's been very consistent throughout, hitting at or above 3.5x value each game of the tournament. Cook gets a nice matchup today against an Oklahoma team that has tremendous guard play, but below average play from their bigs. Cook is the type of versatile big that should be able to take advantage of his matchup with Spangler, and he should really be able to exploit his quickness and ability to play from the perimeter. It can be difficult to pick out guys from Oregon's crowded front-court rotation, but Cook has been the most consistent. He doesn't have quite the upside as Brooks does, but he's lower in price (especially on DraftKings) and has a safer floor in my opinion. Buddy Hield FD - 9700 DK - 10900 This is pretty much a straight pick for FanDuel, but I guess you can play Buddy on DraftKings if you think you can scrape together the dollars. That being said, I really think Buddy Hield is going to have a massive game tonight for a number of reasons. First, Oregon struggles to defend opposing guards, and they have been exposed numerous times this season. Secondly, Buddy Hield is arguably one of the best 3-point shooters in the country, and guess where Oregon ranks in defending the 3? 244th in the country. That is definitely going to spell trouble for the Ducks if Hield gets warm from the outside in this one. Lastly, the game has a high O/U, and both teams like to play with pace making this a good game to target for DFS. If he gets going from the outside, Hield is my pick for the guy who ends up with the highest...
