Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Devin Booker FD - $10800 DK - $10100Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 58.73 DK - 63.83 Eric Gordon FD - $5500 DK - $6300Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 32.17 DK - 34.83 Kevin Durant has already been ruled out for this game and that’s going to mean we are likely stacking Devin Booker and Eric Gordon in cash seeing as how they are candidates to take just about every shot for this team. With Durant off the court this season, Devin Booker has a borderline unreal 38% usage rate. The assists and the rebound tick up as well. Basically, he’s the whole team with KD off the court and that’s going to give him a very high floor going into this matchup against the Kings. Expect him to be among the highest-owned players on the slate. Meanwhile, Eric Gordon sees the second most usage with Durant off the court with his number climbing to 27%. He’s not a candidate to fill the stat line across the board just because of how he plays, but the price doesn’t have you worrying about all that much either. Playing these guys together in cash games is likely how things swing in terms of ownership and you should be on board as well. Anfernee Simons FD - $6600 DK - $6800Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 39.13 DK - 42.42 Anfernee Simons returned to the court after missing the first couple of months of the season, and it was like he hadn’t been gone at all. He stepped right into the starting lineup, played 37 minutes, and jacked up 27 shots. He only hit 10 of them but finished with 28 points and four assists. Malcolm Brogdon went down in that game, giving Simons more opportunity but I don’t think his price has come close to correcting based on how he came in for that first tilt. He’s a pretty easy play here. Small Forward Bojan Bogdanovic FD - $6300 DK - $6500Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 39.77 DK - 41.95 Bojan Bogdanovic is back in the starting lineup, and the price hasn’t fully come around yet considering...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Coby White FD - $7400 DK - $6900Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 34.15 DK - 37.56 The Bulls are still going to be without Zach Lavine for Wednesday’s game, and that means a big helping of Coby White and DeMar DeRozan once again. For White (we’ll get to DDR in a second) it could mean another game close to the 40 minutes he played against the Pelicans on Saturday. In that one, he took 17 shots and finished with 31 points, along with nine rebounds and six assists. The Bulls get one of the best DFS matchups on the slate here against Charlotte, and though White’s price has risen, he’s still very much a play. Cam Thomas FD - $6700 DK - $7100Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 40.91 DK - 43.17 A very encouraging sign in Brooklyn was the number of minutes Cam Thomas ran over the weekend against the Orlando Magic. Though he struggled in the shooting department, going 7-23 from the field, he did run 38 minutes in all and ended up with five assists, a second-best for his career. Now he’ll get another chance at a high-usage game against a Hawks team that lacks a ton in point-of-attack defense. I like the price on both sites and don’t think it’s been fully adjusted to a starting role with a bigger minutes load. Killian Hayes FD - $5400 DK - $5400Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 26.82 DK - 27.25 Do the Pistons know what they are doing? It sure doesn’t seem like it. But can we consider some of their guys in fantasy for now? Sure. Killian Hayes stuck in the starting lineup with a backcourt of Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey as well, and I think that is going to be how they run things again. He played 33 minutes, went 6-11 from the field, and finished with 13 points. He will tick in the defensive stats as well, and I think the floor is high enough in what should at least be a close game against the Grizzlies. Consider Keyonte George (FD 5800 DK 6700) and Collin Sexton (FD 5200...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Jalen Suggs FD - $5900 DK - $6000Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 32.27 DK - 33.45 Cole Anthony FD - $6400 DK - $6700Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 33.39 DK - 36.5 It might end up a popular decision to start a bunch of Magic players on this slate and that would come with good reason. That’s because they are facing off against the Washington Wizards who are about as good a DFS matchup as you can get these days. The Wizards rank second-to-last in defensive efficiency and second in pace. That’s a near-perfect meeting point when it comes to opponents scoring fantasy points and gives Orlando guys a high-floor expectation nearly across the board. Jalen Suggs doesn’t have huge minutes upside, but the price is completely reasonable and he should be in line for about 30 at least as long as the game stays close. He’s scored double-digit points in 10 straight games with contributions in nearly every part of the stat line. Meanwhile, Cole Anthony is coming off the bench but has been able to keep a consistent minutes level with the team not wanting to run rookie Anthony Black out there for major run. Anthony is coming off a 30-point, seven-rebound, seven assist game against the Hornets and has scored 15+ in five straight games. His price is a little risky considering he’s not in the starting unit, but the matchup helps ease that some. Other Notes: There are injury pieces we will need to know before ultimately setting lineups. It looks like Jamal Murray will return to the lineup tonight. But if not, then Reggie Jackson (FD 6000 DK 6300) would be another strong play once again. Additionally, if Kevin Durant were to sit again then we can instantly vault Devin Booker (FD 10400 DK 10300) into the top plays tier. Small Forward Paolo Banchero FD - $7700 DK - $8200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 44.39 DK - 47.66 Franz Wagner FD - $7400 DK - $7500Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 40.57 DK - 43.08 Like we said with the guards above, the Magic guys are going to likely...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $8000 DK - $8300Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 39.95 DK - 45.21 Jaden Ivey FD - $5200 DK - $5400Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 31.36 DK - 34.22 The bad news is that the Pistons stink and have lost 13 straight games. You don’t have to know anything about anything to know that’s horrible. At the same time, there is still some nightly DFS value on this squad and they actually come in as favorites against the Wizards. What does that tell you about Washington? Cade Cunningham took 26 shots last game, finishing with 31 points against the Pacers. And on the season he’s averaging 22 points and 7.1 assists. The 4.8 turnovers a game are a problem, but here’s to hoping some of the usage sticks for him against the worst defensive efficiency team in the league. Meanwhile, Jaden Ivey has been starting at the two guard and is coming off a 25-point game against the Pacers. He’s not a good outside shooter, but at least has been taking some from distance. And I think that stacking these guards at their price points does give a higher floor. The Wiz are just such a garbage team that it’s hard to imagine them slowing anyone down. Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10600 DK - $11000Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 55.33 DK - 59.5 Buddy Hield FD - $5300 DK - $6400Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 30.43 DK - 33.55 I have this guard grouping second on the list not because I think they are worse than the guys above, but because they are more expensive and there’s some real blowout risk in this game. The Pacers come in as -12.5 favorites against the terrible Trailblazers and they could run them out of the gym. Tyrese Haliburton is on one right now, averaging 32 points and 14 assists over the last three games. Those are just unreal numbers and, if anything, he’s run a little bad in the defensive categories. Portland hasn’t been terrible on defense (middle of the pack) and run a slower pace which does drive him down a...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10200 DK - $10000Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 53.66 DK - 58.45 Buddy Hield FD - $4800 DK - $5200Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 29.19 DK - 33 The Pacers are coming off an epic game on Tuesday and there was a reason we gave Tyrese Haliburton as our top option heading into that one. A ridiculous 157-152 (in regulation) win over the Hawks will do that and Hali finished with 37 points and 16 assists, going completely nuke in the third quarter on the way to the W. Not as good matchup here against the Raptors but the Pacers still have one of the highest totals on the slate for a reason. Meanwhile, Buddy Hield got the start over Bennedict Mathurin on Tuesday and made good use of it, going 9-11 from the field and 6-6 from three in 31 minutes. That’s out-of-the-box efficiency that isn’t likely to be replicated, but starting and playing minutes in the 30s is a recipe for value at his current price points. He’s an especially good FanDuel bargain. LaMelo Ball FD - $9900 DK - $10200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 51.02 DK - 56.16 The game to really keep an eye on tonight is the Hornets and Wizards who come in with the highest over/under on the slate at 242.5. I don’t think we see the same heights as Hawks-Pacers, but this one should be up and down the court with little to no defense as well. LaMelo Ball has been locked into about a 36-37 minute rotation of late and over the last month is averaging 29 points, eight assists, and 5.5 rebounds while also adding some defensive stats as well. He’s in the same tier as Haliburton and choosing between them on this slate could be tough. Nickeil Alexander-Walker FD - $4200 DK - $3700Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 26.39 DK - 27.38 Jaden McDaniels is going to miss some time and it looks like Nickeil Alexander-Walker will draw the start in his place. It’s a big-time downgrade on the defensive end, but NAW does have a bit more in...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10300 DK - $10400Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 52.07 DK - 55.97 This Pacers-Hawks game has an insane (and I mean insane) 250 over/ under which almost seems like a joke. It’s 14 points higher than the next-closest game and 25 points more than most other tilts. We are paying a pretty price for Tyrese Haliburton at this point, but if there was ever a game that was “worth it”, it’s this one. The pace should be ultra-fast, Hali has been playing huge minutes and is averaging 23.5 points and 11.6 assists on 51/43/94 splits. Don’t sweat this decision all that much, click the button and fill out the rest of the lineup. Trae Young FD - $9200 DK - $9100Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 49.66 DK - 54.63 Speaking of the game with a ridiculous total, on the other side we have the Hawks with their own backcourt to roster. Again, with pricing, this gets a little tough because there is only so much salary. But if there was a game to really try to make it all fit and get cheaper plays in elsewhere, this is the one. Trae’s three-point shooting has been off this season, going only 28% from deep with the overall FG% way down off his career numbers as well. That’s definitely a concern, but the usage is still there and he’s getting to the line more this season as well. Bennedict Mathurin FD - $5400 DK - $5300Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 31.36 DK - 33.74 We had a little window last week when it seemed like Bennedict Mathurin was going to be a mid-30s minutes guy going forward. But as it seems to happen with Indiana, the rotations just can kind of get wonky and it’s tough to trust anything beyond Haliburton. That being said, with this game likely going the way we think, getting Mathurin in the middle tier (because of the lower minutes of late), then it’s worth it to take the risk. The total is just too high and he’s got big-time scoring upside when things break right. Consider: He’s...
