Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 1/29/16 It's a packed Friday in the NBA, but there's one game standing out from the bunch. The OKC-Houston game features an insane projected total and should be a great one to watch. But there's more out there. Plenty of value for this end of the week. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. Pts - 27.01 DK Proj. Pts - 27.91 The price is moving up only incrementally and those increments are just too small considering how the Suns are using Goodwin. He's still playing around 30+ minutes a game from the point and been working with a very high floor relative to price. The matchup against Cleveland was a tough one. This one against the Knicks will not be. Chalk-iest of chalk plays on Fanduel. Russell Westbrook - FD 10800 DK 10800 Opponent - HOU FD Proj. Pts - 48.12 DK Proj. Pts - 49.76 I'll get to it more in a little bit, but this is definitely the game to target on the slate. It has an enormous expected point total and Westbrook likely has the highest floor of any player on the slate. If the game is up and down the court (which it sure looks like going in) then this could be an all-Russell type of affair. He isn't the highest points/$ player in our system, but it sure would feel terrible thinking about fading Westbrook in this type of game. I won't call him an automatic start, but with a bunch of other potential savings across the board, it shouldn't be tough fitting that salary. Kemba Walker - FD 8800 DK 8700 Opponent - POR FD Proj. Pts - 40.55 DK Proj. Pts - 42.47 I don't mind Kemba as a way to be a little different on this slate. I think the two guys above are the more popular plays for safety, but Kemba has a great matchup tonight. Damian Lillard is not a good defender and the Blazers have allowed more than league average scoring to the opposing point guard. Kemba...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 1/28/16

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 1/28/16 We are used to smaller Thursday slates, but this one has six games and some real interesting matchups to boot. Thursdays tend to be a bit slower on the DFS front, but not this one. Thank goodness. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. While the seasons overlap, you'll get access to our tools for the NBA, NFL, and NHL! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebook on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. POINT GUARD John Wall - FD 9600 DK 9100 Opponent - DEN FD Proj. Pts - 42.46 DK Proj. Pts - 43.67 He's not as strong a Pts/$ play as the guys below, but I see him as a safe commodity on this slate. You can make a case for paying up at point guard considering some of the other savings down the line. Wall's struggled from the floor in three of his last four games after coming off a consistent fantasy run. Look for a bounce back tonight, playing against a Denver team ranking as one of the worst in the league against opposing point guards. Emmanuel Mudiay - FD 5100 DK 5800 Opponent - WAS FD Proj. Pts - 27.83 DK Proj. Pts - 29 This pick is all about minutes and pace. Mudiay is still very much a work in progress, but he stands to see the most minutes out of the one if Jameer Nelson is still on the shelf. He's been scoring more consistently lately, but that's thanks in part to an increase in shot volume. He isn't a great (or really good) shooter, but he'll work driving at the rim or taking some ill-advised threes. I'm mostly looking at the playing time and price, which is still very low. The Wiz are a fast team, leaving plenty of volume for the opponent. Norris Cole - FD 4300 DK 5100 Opponent - SAC FD Proj. Pts - 20.62 DK Proj. Pts - 21.77 Cole has seen a bump in minutes lately because Tyreke's knee's been acting up. It still doesn't seem like the latter is close to 100% and Norris should continue swapping between the one and two depending on the rotations. He isn't a lock at these prices simply because his performances can vary wildly. But with Gordon out, Evans limping and...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 1/27/16

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 1/27/16 Writing these up with the Sixers/Suns D-League-ish tilt in the background, I’m reminded that the beauty of DFS is that a point in this game is worth the same as a point in an actual NBA game. Which is great – these Train Wreck franchises (both to a greater or lesser extent due to injury and managerial ineptitude) offer the value opportunities we love. I have significant positions tonight in five guys in this game (mostly a good thing... shoulda’ gone Len over Chandler – see below) But they’re all relatively risky plays, in large part due to the same factors that make them attractive options. I’m about to endorse a host of players coming off this particular back-to-back, but I want to emphasize how crucial it is to confirm injury and other rotational information as close to lineup lock as possible. That said, let’s get to it. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. So coming off their matchup, let's keep focusing on the Suns and Sixers with a Phoenix & Philly-themed Night POINT GUARD Archie Goodwin - FD 4100 DK 4800 Opponent - CLE FD Proj. Pts - 26.35 DK Proj. Pts - 27.22 PHO/PHI Theme Night, Part 1A Starting NBA PG = DFS points. You don’t need a degree in Aeronautical Engineering to figure this one out. Last night Goodwin went off for 10x value. Despite his skyrocketing price on DK (but not on FD…?), he’s a plug-and-play on both sites until his role changes. No reason to think that’ll be Wednesday. Russell Westbrook - FD 10500 DK 10600 Opponent - MIN FD Proj. Pts - 49.49 DK Proj. Pts - 51.27 “Russ-diculous.” Adj. meaning “To consistently provide 5x value at or above the $10k price point.” When you spend money (which is why we flag low-cost values in the first place), you want to do it safely. Westbrook is high-level production in bubble wrap. Any time the T-Wolves are involved, there’s blowout risk. Unless he gets himself ejected, he’s going to get you 40, even if he only plays 25 minutes. Ish Smith - FD 6900 DK 7400 Opponent...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 1/26/16

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 1/26/16 It's an atypical bigger Tuesday slate in the NBA. Last night we were given another (inevitable) Anthony Davis injury. It really seems like he's trolling DFS at this point. Tonight's slate features a ton of cheap plays thanks to the current Suns' situation and a couple of other guys thrown in here and there. It's actually tough to figure out the ways to get money in right, which can be tough sledding. Let's take a look at some of the deals. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. Pts - 26.01 DK Proj. Pts - 26.9 This is an easy one. With Brandon Knight already ruled out, the Suns will look to run Goodwin out at the point for minutes in bunches. Archie hit a miracle game winning three at the buzzer against the Hawks on Saturday, and was awesome before that playing 41 minutes with a 24/4/1 line. He walks into a solid matchup against a bottom third defensive team in the Sixers. The sites haven't come close to adjusting Goodwin's price relative to his new opportunity and I suspect he's one of the highest-owned players on the slate. Ish Smith - FD 6900 DK 7400 Opponent - PHX FD Proj. Pts - 34.91 DK Proj. Pts - 35.95 I know the Suns hung with and beat the Hawks on Sunday, but they are still a young/ inexperienced team with a bunch of defensive struggles this season. They are tied for the second worst defensive efficiency in the league and are allowing around 15% more scoring that league average to opposing point guards. They do have some bigger bodies inside who could alter Ish's strength which is getting to the basket. But the game flow here really favors Smith and assuming he has minutes just north of 30 then you have a guy with a high floor. Strongly consider Russell Westbrook because he's well, Westbrook. But the two guys above are such great plays that it's tougher making the case to pay up for the guy. SHOOTING GUARD...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 1/22/16

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 1/22/16 A big old Friday in the NBA coming at you and there is a ton of news to wade through before tip off. Some things we know already, but tomorrow will be a day of monitoring a whole host of players' situations. It could make for a very interesting up-to-the-last-minute lineup sweat. But we love that sort of thing. We'll get you started here with some of the names to keep an eye on. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. Pts - 49.53 DK Proj. Pts - 51.27 Look, I like him just about every time he hits the court. Outside of a price tag north of 11K and a matchup against say the Jazz, Westbrook should be on your radar. He's just so freaking great and has an insanely high floor because he appears every where on the court at all times (or so it seems). His biggest issue of late is OKC just crushing some teams and his fourth quarter minutes get buzzed. But in only 27 minutes against the Hornets he still went 16/15/8. The guy barely needs to play some games in order to put up astronomical lines. I think this game stays close and he's one of the safest plays on the night. Tyler Johnson - FD 4300 DK 5600 Opponent - TOR FD Proj. Pts - 24.78 DK Proj. Pts - 26.19 It really doesn't look like Udrih is going to play and Goran Dragic's already been ruled out for Friday. If Udrih were to come back I'd downgrade Johnson, but as it stands now dude looks like he's all systems go again. He played 35 minutes last game, finishing with an underwhelming 15/4/2 line that barely got him to value. Part of the issue was how the Heat played Josh Richardson more minutes at the one, sliding Johnson to the two. If Wade is back I don't think you'll really see that rotation as much. There is a lot of injury news up in the air right now, the Heat...
