Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson FD 8400 DK 8000 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 26.36 DK - 27.11 Jackson struggled in a Week 10 loss to the Dolphins, completing 60% of his 43 passes for only 238 yards. And he didn’t run as much as we’ve become used to, getting only 39 yards on the ground. It was a bad game all around for the Ravens and Jackson had a rough one. But I think we can go back to him in cash in Week 11 against the Bears. Chicago ranks 22nd in the league in defensive DVOA are well below average defending both the run and the pass. Jackson is ranked 4th overall in DraftKings points per game this season and still maintains such a high floor because of the gains he makes on the ground. I’m not letting a bad performance last week influence the decision-making this time around. Cam Newton FD 7500 DK 5100 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 17.81 DK - 18.7 Newton is taking first-team reps this week with the thought that he will be the starter in Week 11 for the Panthers. It’s quite the turn of events for Newton who was out of the league two weeks ago. He came in for some snaps last week, 12 total, threw four passes, and also rushed the ball three times for 14 yards and a touchdown. The price is so cheap on DraftKings that I think you can strongly consider him for cash especially if the RPO is going to be operating for Carolina this week. This is a price play if you think there is enough left in the tank for Newton. Running Backs A.J. Dillon FD 7000 DK 6200 Opponent MINProj Points FD - 18.5 DK - 20.86 Dillon will be massive chalk on this slate for both sites. He is set to take over lead-back duties for the Packers now that they have lost Aaron Jones and is in a position to put up some huge stats in this game. Even in the backup role, Dillon has been an effective runner over the last couple of seasons, averaging more than 4.6 yards per carry and also working into the passing game as well. Minnesota’s funnel defense is significantly worse against the run, ranking 28th in DVOA against the run. This...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 10 – Main Slate

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 10 - Main Slate Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 8700 DK 7900 Opponent NYJProj Points FD - 26.68 DK - 27.45 The Bills were, obviously, a total disaster in Week 9 against Jacksonville, mustering almost nothing on offense against one of the league’s worst teams. Allen completed just 66% of his passes and overall it was a disappointing day. But even for the struggles, he’s still among the elite fantasy quarterbacks, ranking third in the league in DraftKings points per game at the position. This time around he’ll face a Jets team that is ranked dead last in the league in defensive DVOA. Even with the struggles last week, I think we go right back to Allen in this one without hesitation. Justin Herbert FD 8000 DK 7300 Opponent MINProj Points FD - 23.09 DK - 23.75 After a couple of down weeks against the Patriots and Ravens in Week 7 and 8, Herbert bounced back in a big way against the Eagles last time around. He completed 84% of his passes (32-38) and threw for 356 yards and two touchdowns in the win. This matchup is a tougher one considering that the Vikings are much better against the pass than the run, but Herbert’s price as dipped some because of the recent “struggles”. I think we are buying him at a value in this game considering his upside and this one has the second-highest total of the slate at 53. Running Backs Jonathan Taylor FD 9400 DK 8100 Opponent JAXProj Points FD - 21.3 DK - 22.85 With Derrick Henry now on the shelf, Taylor enters Week 10 as active RB1 on the fantasy season. Even though the Colts still aren’t running him out there all of the snaps, he’s seeing plenty of usage in the offense and it coming off a huge Week 9. Indy is huge, -10 home favorites against the Jaguars on Sunday. That’s the sweet spot for running backs in terms of safety and Taylor has been about as good as it gets this season. He’s second in the league in rushing yards and sees just enough work in the passing game to pass muster there. The Jags are a funnel defense, ranking dead last against the pass and 8th agains the rush, but I don’t think that discrepancy is enough to warrant a fade on...

Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $9600 DK - $10900Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 54 DK - 57.14 Lebron James is sitting out again on Saturday and the Lakers might be in trouble. They are coming off a loss to the Thunder on Thursday and have real issues with their lineup. But from a fantasy standpoint, we don’t care all that much about those problems. Westbrook is in line for a lot of usage again after taking 23 shots last game. He was inefficient (10-23 from the field) and turned the ball over, but the floor is just still so high without James in the lineup. He’s a much better price on FanDuel where he’s a tough fade. The DraftKings price is a bit of a stretch though and there are other value plays in the top tier on this slate so I don’t think he’s a must. Chris Paul FD - $8100 DK - $8400Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 41.65 DK - 44.53 Paul has been a popular option over his last couple of games and been amazing in that stretch as well. He’s put up 13 and 18 assists games over the last two and has 10 steals combined over his last three. The price on both sites isn’t all that close to reflecting his current minutes’ status after getting buzzed off some run earlier in the year. The Suns implied 115 points is, by far, the highest on the slate. This is still a shot to buy on Paul. Shooting Guard Dennis Schroder FD - $6000 DK - $5400Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 33.22 DK - 34.34 Jaylen Brown has already been ruled out of this game meaning we are going to get some value from the Celtics on this slate. The last time Brown missed a game, Schroder played 33 minutes and took the second-most shots on the team with 14. He finished with 18 points to go with five rebounds and five assists. The price has come down since then because the Celtics have been fully healthy. But I think we can go back to him here because of the opportunity now available with...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, November 5

Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $7500 DK - $8400Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 43.08 DK - 45.54 This game between the Kings and the Hornets has the highest over/under on the slate at 227 and should be an up-and-down affair between the fourth and fifth fastest teams in the league. Fox has struggled some to start the season which has his price way down on FanDuel especially. He’s shooting just 19% from three and 39% from the field, both way down from his career averages. He is down at the free-throw line. Though some players’ struggles to start the season are well-publicized, I think we are still in “short-term blip” territory with a lot of them, Fox included. Stephen Curry FD - $9800 DK - $11400Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 53.22 DK - 58.82 Curry will face a Pelicans’ team on Friday that ranks dead last in defensive efficiency on the season with not many paths to get a whole lot better as they move forward. Charlotte tried to run him off the line more last game with their wings, but New Orleans won’t be able to do the same thing and we could see a big game from Steph. His shot attempts are down a little over the last two games, but it looks like that is more a blip than anything. I think the DraftKings price is way too high, but on FanDuel he is still very much a value. Patrick Beverley (FD 5000 DK 4000) is a great DraftKings play with D'Angelo Russell sitting this one out again for the Timberwolves. Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $4200 DK - $4600Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 24.24 DK - 27.53 The number one draft pick had struggled some through his first two games, going a combined 0-14 from three to start his career. That piece didn’t get a whole lot better on Thursday against the 76ers considering he just 1-7. But the rest of the line showed a lot of promise. He was second on the team with 17 shots and finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. The young star has plenty of...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 11/22/16

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 11/22/16 Happy Tuesday, y'all! After a number of frenetic slates with late breaking news and tons of possible options, we settle into a decidedly smaller and hopefully more sane slate for Tuesday. Some solid big money options and some reasonable value options as well. Let's do this like Brutus. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Point Guards Russell Westbrook FD - $11800 DK - $12500Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 56.66 DK - 61.47 It’s short slate so fitting in salaries like this isn’t always a piece of cake. But if there’s anyone to do it for, it’s Russ. Even at these exorbitant prices he’s actually still one of the top points/$ plays at point guard. That, my friends, is no easy feat. But this is Russ we’re talking about. He’s averaging a triple-double on the season (if we round up on the rebounds by .3) and chucks in the highest usage in the league at 40%. The Lakers, while an improving team, still play a top 5 pace and a bottom 5 defensive efficiency. There are times to fade Westbrook, but this short slate isn’t one of them. This games has the highest over/under at 221 and projects to stay close. All the Westbrook today. Rajon Rondo FD - $5700 DK - $5600Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 27.54 DK - 30.18 After Westbrook, point guard is actually pretty thin on this slate. Rondo hasn’t put up tons of fantasy production since coming to the Bulls from Sacramento, but in close games he’s played a great deal of minutes. And though the shooting hasn’t really been there (it never has been for the guy) he’s contributing enough assists and rebounds to generally pay off these prices. He’s averaging close to 9 assists per this season and has had a recent run of solid rebounding (about 5/ game on the season). He’s also struggling from the field and we could see regression on that front, though the season’s already getting a little long in the tooth. Denver’s a middle of the road defensive team this season and plays at about a league average pace. We should see a full strength Bulls team tonight and I think Rondo sees the minutes. Also considered: Emmanuel Mudiay. The shooting is enough to drive a man...
