After a slow, two game slate last night we are back with a full 13 game schedule tonight. The Ottawa Senators will be playing in back to back nights and coming off a 7-4 route of the Stars on Tuesday. The Ducks are the only other team playing in a back to back and as of writing this are tied at 2 mid way through the game. With such a big slate of games it presents us plenty of value options to help us roster the top goaltender and forward options. Lets now dig in to the matchups and find some core plays for Wednesday night.   GOALIES Braden Holtby - Washignton Capitals vs. WPG *PROBABLE* DraftKings - $8,100 FanDuel - $10,000 DraftPot - 5.10 DPPG He is coming off his first shutout of the season and is on a four game win streak and has six wins in his last eight starts. The Capitals are -210 favorites at home vs the Jets who are struggling with a -11 goal differential on the year. Holtby provides a cost savings from Lundqvist, especially on FanDuel and is a great play in any format. Jaraslav Halak - New York Islanders vs. PHI *PROBABLE* DraftKings - $7,400 FanDuel - $8,500 DraftPot - 4.88 DPPG He makes a great projected low owned goalie for larger field tournaments on Tuesday. I wouldn't use for cash as the wins have not come easy but he holds .919 save % and has 2 shutouts on the year. Not to mention his matchup with Flyers who are ranked dead last in offense, scoring under 2 goals per game. Halak and the Isles(-210 Favs) are in a great spot to pick up a home win. How much insight does it take to take the #1 fantasy goalie so far this year, even at a high price? Well, confidence has been a bit shaken lately in him, having given up 3+ goals in 2 of his last 4 outings. Many may look to save on their goaltender today because they see King Henrik vs a NSH squad with a good record. Don't be fooled, he'll be underplayed on an 8 game slate due to these reasons, but Nashville's good record comes at the expense of an offense which has been sputtering and lacks a clear go-to scorer. Lundqvist also shines bright at home, going 6-1-1 with a 1.74GAA and .944 Sv %. Also Consider: Jake Allen - St. Louis Blues at BUF VALUE PLAY: James Reimer - Toronto Maple Leafs vs BOS DraftKings - $6,600 FanDuel - $8,400 DraftPot - 5.00 DPPG Reimer won't be a sleeper and because of his cost, you'll see him played roughly at the same percentages as top goalies, but he's on an amazing hot streak right now and Mike Babcock has the Leafs playing their best hockey in years right now. Their defense has been much improved and anything that's slipped past, Reimer's caught. Facing a Boston team Toronto lost to just a few nights earlier (where Reimer turned in a stellar performance in the loss), look for revenge from the Leafs at home tonight and a Reimer W. He comes in at a good deal on DK, but a bit pricey on FD. Tonight he'll stand between the pipes against a Vancouver team playing the second game of a back to back sporting a 5-2 record away from home and an overall sterling .926 SV %. He's surrendered 2 or fewer goals in his last 8 outings, albeit giving up 3 to Ottawa his last time out. Look for a good bounceback performance against a tired Canucks team. Jonathan Quick - Los Angeles Kings @ CAR DraftKings - $7,600 FanDuel - $8,900  Quick comes into play well-rested against a Carolina team he pitched a 40sv shutout against earlier this season in one of his, and his teams', best games of the year. Quick also seems to play better away from the friendly confines of home, sporting a 3-1-0 record and a .923 SV % on the road. Carolina comes in ranked near the bottom in G/G, SH/G and PP%, making quick a very strong start on a short slate of games. He has a nice floor as the Rangers are giving up over 30 shots a game when he is playing and he holds a league best .946 save percentage. Kari Lehtonen - Dallas Stars vs. BUF *PROBABLE* DraftKings - $7,100 FanDuel - $8,800 DraftPot - 5.80 DPPG The Stars are the biggest favorites on the board Saturday night at -235 home to the Sabres. Lehtonen has been fantastic to start the year with the push of Niemi behind him. He is 9-1 with a 1.91 GAA and .935 save percentage.
