Pitching Targets

Jacob deGrom FD 10400 DK 10600
Opponent - PHI (Eflin) Park - @PHI
FD - 35.2 DK - 23.07

A lot of great options on the bump today, but I love me some deGROM-inator today! He will be going up against the Phillies, who have struggled against right-handed pitchers this season. They are coming into this contest sporting a .302 wOBA (26th in MLB) and 84 wRC+ (27th in MLB) against them. This is a great matchup for any pitcher on the mound, especially for the one-and-only, deGROM-inator. He owns a 3.37 xFIP to go along with a 24.3 K%. And to make things even better, he has a beautiful price tag across the industry today.

Rich Hill FD 9800 DK 11100
Opponent - TOR (Happ) Park - @OAK
FD - 22.69 DK - 14.85

I might be a little crazy recommending Rich Hill against the Blue Jays, but man this guys upside is just through the roof. He owns a 28.9 K% to go along with a 1.09 WHIP. The 36-year-old has been fanning hitters left-and-right and going up against this Blue Jays' club that owns a K% over 21% will certainly help the veteran out. Yes the Blue Jays hit lefties well, but Hill is an excellent play for tournaments. And don't worry, he will be pitching at the spacious Oakland Coliseum, which is a huge plus.

Jon Gray FD 8300 DK 10100
Opponent - ATL (Theran) Park - @ATL
FD - 30.82 DK - 20.39

We all know the deal by now: The Braves don't hit for power or a very high average, but they don't strike out a whole lot which hurts our pitchers. But today, I'd go ahead and roll the dice with, Jon Gray. He owns a 25.9 K%, which should help him out a bit and has been great for the Rockies this season. He owns a 3.56 xFIP this season and has held opponents to a .227 AVG. With a lot of great options on today's slate, I would only use him in tournaments.
