Welcome to our daily article breaking down some of the other stacking targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article and pitching breakdown but here we will look at other plays to consider if you're trying to win big in a large tournament.

In case you didn’t notice, we just released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season.

Stack Targets

San Francisco Giants vs. Jorge De La Rosa (Rockies)
Colorado Rockies vs. Albert Suarez (Giants)

Park - Coors Field

If you are stacking tonight it I think there is no better place to start than with the Giants and/or Rockies. The game comes with the highest total on the slate with both teams projected to score around six runs each. Like we discussed on the Pod, Vegas totals are not the perfect formula for predicting runs as they have slightly different agendas. However, when two teams in a superior hitters park face off and both have projected run lines close to 20% higher than any other team you better take notice. The prices on the players is not even close to 20% greater than other teams which to me means value. I also don't believe in the "they laid an egg last night so I am fading them today" theory as yesterday's results should have no bearing on today's decisions. I am like the Giants as they come a little cheaper than the Rockies with Hunter Pence, Buster Posey and Angel Pagan leading the way. I also think you can roster Brandon Belt who has shown the ability to left handed pitching quite well with a .372 wOBA and 137 wRC+ for the season. On the Rockies side it is all going to depend on the starting lineup to which hitters I will roster the most but either way Carlos Gonzalez, DJ Lemahieu, and Nolan Arenado are your top options today.

Boston Red Sox vs. Jarred Cosart (Padres)
Park - Petco Park

I will start off by saying I don't like the park for stacking but think it helps present some value with the Red Sox for a few reasons. First you can get the Red Sox stack in today without paying outrageous prices like when they play at home. I also believe the negative park and low 7.5 Vegas total will drive most people in other directions as their are so many viable stacking options today. The low total is mainly a result of the Padres projected runs(2.95) than it is the Red Sox who are still projected to score over 4.5 runs today. They are the top offense in the game this season scoring 757 runs and rank 1st overall in wOBA(.349) and wRC+(113) vs. right handed pitching. They shoudl have no problem in a matchup with Jarred Cosart who has been less than impressive this season for the Marlins and ow the Padres. He has yet to record a win in 10 starts and has pitched to a 4.62 xFIP with a low K rate(5.88 K/9) and extremely high walk rate(5.69 BB/9). He won't stick around long with a K rate and walk rate in the same zone. Make sure to fade David Ortiz today who will not be making a start in San Diego in an attempt to rest him and avoid injury in the field. All systems go with Xander Bogaerts, Mookie Betts, Hanley Ramirez, and even value catcher Sandy Leon.
