Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other pitching targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article, but here we'll look at a bunch of other solid plays to consider.

Martinez will be an elite option at starting pitcher tonight as the Cardinals are heavy -190 home favorites in a do or die situation sitting on the outside looking in at the NL wildcard. They sit just one game back of the Giants and will face a Pirates team that has been eliminated from playoff contention. Maartinez has been red hot down the stretch for the Cards holding opponents to two earned runs or less in seven of his last eight starts while striking out close to 9.5 batters per nine. At a price under $10K on both sites he is safe in all formats.

Things have been really interesting in Detroit the last few days. Rain postponed yesterday's game which will be made up on Monday if it is necessary. It very well could be as the Tigers sit just 1.5 games back of the Orioles and Blue Jays in the AL wildcard. They will push last nights starter Daniel Norris up into tonight's spot to face the Braves in Atlanta, where there is thankfully no rain in the forecast. Norris has been impressive in his third stint in the majors after spending the start of his career with the Jays. He has made 12 starts in 2016 and posted a 3.59 ERA, 4.07 xFIP and very impressive 9.05 K/9 rate. He will face a Braves team who rank 27th in wOBA(.297) and wRC+(82) against left handed pitching. The price is very affordable making him an excellent second pitcher option on DraftKings and great stand alone option on FanDuel.
