GOALIES

Cameron Talbot FD - $8500 DK - $8200
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 13.67 DK - 3.42

Finally the Oilers have found their goalie for the future. Cam the Man Talbot is still going to have his ups and downs in the NHL, but he has proved that he can handle the load in Edmonton. Talbot stopped 39 of 41 shots in a shootout loss in Arizona on Friday and gets to face them in his barn today. Can you smell revenge? The Oilers are a massive -210 favourites according to Vegas this morning and Talbot is 3-0-1 in his last 4 games. Play him with confidence in all formats today.

Henrik Lundqvist FD - $9400 DK - $8300
Opponent - OTT
Proj Pts FD - 18.63 DK - 4.66

King Henrik isn't the youngest of men anymore, but he's still one of the best tenders in the league. Today him and the Rangers square off against the Ottawa Senators who are 3rd worst in the league with only 2.19 goals scored per game, but they fire a decent amount of shots per game (30.7.) The Rangers have the best offense in the league, and Mike Condon should be in net today who is a huge downgrade from Craig Anderson. This game could get ugly, so the King looks safe in all formats.

CENTERS

Connor McDavid FD - $8500 DK - $8700
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 18.66 DK - 6.26

This is a no-brainer on most large slates let alone on this small one today. And the matchup this stud has gives him safety and upside that is substantially awesome. I wrote him up on Friday when he played the Coyotes, and he had a ho-hum kind of game as he scored a goal on 4 shots. He reached value yet again, and that's a below average game for his standards. The Oilers lost to Arizona in a shootout, so they will be out for revenge today, and Arizona is last in the league in shots allowed per game (33.6,) and 3rd worst in goals allowed per game (3.26.) He's not only a great play today, but absolutely impossible to fade in all formats.

Ryan Johansen FD - $6500 DK - $5800
Opponent - WPG
Proj Pts FD - 10.15 DK - 3.43

Finally the 24 year old is finding his groove this season and he can get very dangerous when he's focused. The Jets are a mess right now, and his line-mate James Neal is now injured, so he will be relied upon to carry more of the load in Music City. He's on fire as he scored 2 goals and added an assist against Winnipeg last game and I expect him to be on the score sheet again today as the Jets are 6th worst in the league with 3.04 goals allowed. I don't love Johansen today, but our options are limited.

PP Stack with: Mike Fisher, Filip Forsberg

WINGERS

Jordan Eberle FD - $6600 DK - $6900
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 14.69 DK - 4.88

I told you how much I love McDavid, and we need to get a ton of exposure to Edmonton today, and here we have Eberle who is the boss on the Oilers' 2nd line which isn't far behind the top line from a production standpoint. I already mentioned the Coyotes and their defensive woes, and Edmonton is ranked 8th in the league with exactly 3.00 goals scored per game. Eberle plays on the top powerplay with McDavid, and he has 2 goals and 2 assists with 12 shots on goal in his last 3 games. In cash games I think it's smart to play both him and McDavid, and stack him with his line-mates or the #1 power-play unit for your tournament lineups.

Stack with: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Patrick Maroon

Nikita Kucherov FD - $7800 DK - $7800
Opponent - BOS
Proj Pts FD - 14.22 DK - 4.54

Talk about being on fire. Wow!! Kucherov apparently figured out that once Stamkos went down with an injury for 4-6 months, that he is responsible to step up and perform at a very high level for Tampa Bay. The matchup isn't the greatest against the Bruins but they do give up a few goals here and there and the young Russian is currently matchup proof. He has 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 3 games with 12 shots on goal and 3 blocked shots. He plays on the top line and top power-play unit. Because of the tough matchup in Boston, he is not the best cash game play but for your tourney lineups, he makes for a fabulous play today as he has hat-trick upside on any given day.

Stack with: Vladislav Namestnikov, Alex Killorn

Jeff Skinner FD - $6600 DK - $6800
Opponent - FLA
Proj Pts FD - 13.26 DK - 4.02

I'm not a big fan of the late games today as you can probably already tell but I am going to give you my favourite play incase you want to play it anyways. Skinner is a shooting machine who sees a ton of ice time per game and plays on the #1 power-play unit in Carolina. Through 19 games he has 8 goals 9 assists and 67 shots on goal and seems like the safest play in the tiny evening slate, and he always carries high upside because of his high shot volume.

DEFENSEMEN

Oscar Klefbom FD - $4300 DK - $5100
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 7.41 DK - 2.55

Surprise!!! Another Edmonton Oiler player. I bet you didn't see that coming did you?? I recommended Oscar on Friday and he crushed his value by getting an assist, 6 shots on goal, and 3 blocked shots. Expect more of the same today against the Coyotes. He's my favourite Defensive play today in all formats everywhere. Don't think twice and lock him into your lineups and thank me later.

Also Consider: Shayne Gostisbehere (Late Slate)
