Houston Astros vs. Ubaldo Jiminez (BAL)

There are three teams that are hovering around six implied runs tonight and I think this helps spread the ownership out. I didn't list the obvious Rockies as they are at home with the highest of the implied runs total but will definitely have some shares. Overall, I prefer to side with the league leading Astros(558 runs) who get an elite matchup vs. Ubaldo Jiminez and the Baltimore Orioles.  When stacking against a pitcher I am looking for some walks to fill the bases and with some potential to get multiple home runs. This is exactly what Jiminez provides with a 4.43 BB/9 rate and 20.6% HR/FB rate. He has been especially bad lately allowing four or more earned runs in three straight four of his last five starts with six home runs against. Load up on Astros.

Top Hitters to Stack: George Springer, Jose Altuve, Josh Reddick, Brian McCann

Kansas City Royals vs. James Shields (CWS)

Take your pick with the bottom of the rung pitchers tonight to stack against. I was really hoping the Royals would have put up a dud last night to help mask the elite spot tonight vs. Shields but instead, they went out and scored 16 runs. I still they come in a bit under owned as they have been incredibly inconsistent all year and rank near the bottom of the league in overall runs scored. We just can't ignore the matchup even I would even consider using some AA teams as my stack against Shieds. Kidding aside, he has been a disaster since returning from injury in mid-June with a 7.36 ERA and 6.56 xFIP that backs up the terribleness. He has also given up eight home runs in those five starts for an ugly 19.5% HR/FB rate.

Top Hitters to Stack: Whit Merrifield, Lorenzo Cain, Salvador Perez, Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas
