Now that this wild week is over, it's time to get back into the everyday grind. What's fascinating about this slate is that we have a ton of great pitching options and an abundance of dangerous bats. That means finding value will be key and we'll do our best to stray you towards some of those plays. PitchersJustin Verlander FD - P 12000 DK - SP 12000 Opponent - SEA (Matt Wisler) Park - HOUFD - 41.49 DK - 23.96It's going to be tough to fade Velrnader on this slate. This dude is straight nails anytime he takes the mound and you have to love him in a matchup like this. Let's start with the Mariners, as they currently rank bottom-10 in OPS, xSLG, wOBA and xwOBA since the opening month. That's particularly scary considering they own the third-worst K rate in the league. That's a nightmare against a guy like Verlander, who's currently pitching to a 2.73 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 34 percent K rate this season in what's become a Hall-of-Fame career. Not to mention, Verlander is projected to be a -300 favorite in this game. He's a great play in any format.Shane Bieber FD - P 11200 DK - SP 10900 Opponent - LAA (Jaime Barria) Park - CLEFD - 38.45 DK - 21.01Bieber has been one of the best pitchers in the AL and it's not a crazy statement to say he's the best Indians pitcher at this point. Many people would have said he's the fourth-best pitcher in this rotation at the beginning of the year and that's a testament to just how good this guy has been. We're talking about a pitcher with a 3.40 ERA and 1.01 WHIP while generating a 31 percent K rate. His last nine starts have been even more absurd, with Bieber posting a 2.57 ERA and 0.86 WHIP in that span while striking out 78 batters across 63 innings. That's why he'll enter this game as a -200 favorite. It's one of the feel good stories of the year, and a great reminder of why we're often projecting future ERA with xFIP instead of ERA itself - as Bieber had one of the widest splits acrooss these two categories last year.We also love Patrick Corbin hosting his former team as a -190 favorite. Catcher/First BaseDaniel Murphy FD - 1B 3500 DK - 1B 4800 Opponent - SF...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Friday 8/2/19Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below.START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW!We have a game playing in Coors Field for this Friday slate, so you know what that means! This article will be littered with players from that game while including some other value plays throughout the Majors. PitchersLance Lynn FD - P 10500 DK - SP 11700 Opponent - DET (Tyler Alexander) Park - TEXFD - 34.67 DK - 18.52It seems crazy to use Lynn as a five-figure player but he's probably the best option on this slate. The simple fact is, Lynn is one of the best pitchers in the Majors right now. That's evident by his 3.05 ERA and 1.08 WHIP over his last 15 starts, striking out 124 batters in barely 100 innings of action. That's a ridiculous stretch from a guy people weren't even considering two months ago and it's clear he's changed his game. What really adds to Lynn's intrigue here is this matchup, with the Tigers ranking bottom-three in OPS, xwOBA, wOBA, OBP and runs scored. That's why Lynn enters this game as a -230 favorite. Steven Matz FD - P 7800 DK - SP 7700 Opponent - PIT (Trevor Williams) Park - PITFD - 27.95 DK - 14.19Matz just had his best outing of the season in his most recent start and guess who it came against? Yes, it was these Pirates, as he struck out seven batters en route to a complete-game shutout. That sort of upside is incredible and it's surprising Matz isn't above $8,000 on both sites. A major reason why he's a great option against this club is because of Pittsburgh's struggles against southpaws, with the Pirates ranked 26th in runs scored, 29th in OPS and dead-last in OBP against them this season. Also consider Martin Perez (FD $7000 DK $7900)as a big favorite against the Twins. Catcher/First BaseBrandon Belt FD - 1B 3600 DK - 1B 4000 Opponent - COL (Peter Lambert) Park - COLFD - 15.11 DK - 11.4It's rare that we ever want to use the Giants but they're always in play at Coors Field. The last time they were there, San Fran dropped 40 runs in a four-game series and that tells you everything you need to know about this wild ballpark. Belt has quietly been the Giants best hitter this season too, posting a .353 OBP and .750 OPS. That's actually below his career averages, with Belt providing a .365 OBP against right-handers since 2017. His career numbers in Coors are absurd too,...

Get started for free by clicking the button below.START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW!With the trade deadline only 24 hours away, this is one of the wildest periods of the season. There are going to be scratches and weird lineups across the Majors and that always makes for a strange DFS schedule. Be sure to monitor all of these situations and don't get stuck with any big fat 0's into your lineup. PitchersJake Odorizzi FD - P 7300 DK - SP 9400 Opponent - MIA (Zac Gallen) Park - MIAFD - 35.71 DK - 18.95We always like to use pitchers against the Marlins and getting one in the midst of a breakout season is a huge bonus. So far this season, Odorizzi is pitching to a 3.84 ERA and 1.21 WHIP while striking out 108 batters across 103 innings. That's all you can ask for from a player in this price range, as he should cruise right through this lineup. Not only is it an NL lineup without a DH, the Marlins currently rank 29th in runs scored and dead-last in wOBA, xwOBA and OPS. That's why Odorizzi enters this matchup as a -165 favorite, with Miami projected for only 3.5 runs. Griffin Canning FD - P 6700 DK - SP 7900 Opponent - DET (Drew VerHagen) Park - LAAFD - 34.27 DK - 17.98Canning's recent form is downright terrible but he's much better than those numbers would indicate. Having a start against the Astros and Rangers will do that to anyone's statistics and it doesn't even take into consideration the five runs he allowed in a surprise relief appearance in his last outing. He was forced into that 16-inning game and it just exemplifies how unlucky this guy has been recently. Prior to that, Canning had a 3.68 ERA and 0.99 WHIP over his first 10 starts while striking out 63 batters across 61.2 innings of action. That's awesome against a lineup like this, with Detroit ranked 29th in K rate and dead-last in runs scored, SLG and wOBA. Not to mention, Canning enters this gams as a -270 favorite. Catcher/First BaseDaniel Murphy FD - 1B 3600 DK - 1B 5000 Opponent - LAD (Tony Gonsolin) Park - COLFD - 14.9 DK - 11.44This is the first of many Rockies and Murphy is actually quite the value on FanDuel. Any player hitting in Coors Field should be above $4,000, let alone a guy as hot as Murphy. Over his last 57 games, Murphy is hitting .328 while generating a .915 OPS in...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Saturday 6/27/19 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! With two slates on this schedule, we're going to focus on the night slate. There happens to be five games in the day slate and a robust 10 games in the nightcap. There's not a whole lot of weather fortunately and that's all we can ask for as DFS players. Pitchers Steven Matz FD - P 6400 DK - SP 6900 Opponent - PIT (Trevor Williams) Park - NYMFD - 28.65 DK - 14.57 While Matz has been wildly inconsistent this season, we really like him at this price tag. He's actually out best per-dollar play on the board, as we believe he should be closer to $8,000 on each site. A 4.75 ERA and 1.46 WHIP shows why this price is so low but he's much better pitcher than those numbers would indicate. Not only does he have a 4.13 ERA and 1.32 WHIP for his career, his 4.01 career xFIP also shows that he's been pretty unlucky. Getting to pitch in Citi Field is huge too, with Matz generating a 2.54 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 10.2 K/9 rate at home so far this season. Facing Pittsburgh is the icing on the cake, with the Pirates ranking 19th in runs scored and 18th in xwOBA. Gerrit Cole FD - P 12000 DK - SP 12000 Opponent - STL (Daniel Poncedeleon) Park - STLFD - 44.7 DK - 25.54 Cole is easily the highest-priced pitcher on the board and it's easy to understand why. The 3.03 ERA and 1.00 WHIP speaks loudly but his 205 strikeouts are downright absurd. That leads the league and he's actually on pace to set one of the best K rates in Major League history. That's obviously ginormous for DFS purposes, especially against a lineup like this. Not only does he gets to face an NL lineup without a DH, the Cardinals currently sit 20th in runs scored, 23rd in OPS and 24th in wOBA. Catcher/First Base Mark Canha FD - 1B 2800 DK - 1B/OF 4300 Opponent - TEX (Adrian Sampson) Park - OAKFD - 10.97 DK - 8.31 Matt Olson FD - 1B 3700 DK - 1B 4500 Opponent - TEX (Adrian Sampson) Park - OAKFD - 12.61 DK - 9.42 We absolutely love the Oakland A's on this slate and these two are actually a pretty good value. Let's start with the Rangers pitcher, as Adrian Sampson is definitely an arm we want to exploit. The...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Friday 7/26/19Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below.START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW!After a couple of wild games on Thursday, let's get into another awesome Friday slate. These are always the best of the week, with everyone playing night games. That's a DFS players dream and it makes it so much easier on us because all the lineups tend to be out and the weather is much more predictable. Early forecasts look good right now but be sure to check again prior to submitting lineups. PitchersZack Greinke FD - P 10200 DK - SP 10500 Opponent - MIA (Sandy Alcantara) Park - MIAFD - 35.31 DK - 18.76Was there any question that Greinke would be in this article? We're talking about one of the best pitchers in the game facing arguably the worst lineup in the most pitcher-friendly park in baseball. That's a recipe for success and it would be hard to imagine Grenike not throwing a quality start here. Since a bad start against the Dodgers in the opener, Greinke is pitching to a 2.54 ERA and 0.91 WHIP over his last 20 starts. Those are Cy Young caliber numbers and it really makes him an intriguing option against an offense who ranks bottom-three in runs scored, OPS and xwOBA. Not to mention, the Marlins are projected for just 3,5 runs, with Greinke entering this game as a -180 favorite. Zack Wheeler FD - P 9300 DK - SP 9200 Opponent - PIT (Dario Agrazal) Park - NYMFD - 36.05 DK - 18.98The 4.69 ERA is not going to make anyone run to their computer to select Wheeler but he's been much better than that number would indicate. In fact, Wheeler's 3.66 FIP and 26 percent K rate tells us that he has some positive regression headed his way. While we're not really getting a discount in terms of price, we love that he gets to pitch at Citi Field against this weak offense. Not only does Citi Field rank as one of the three-best pitcher's parks in the Majors, the Pirates also sit 28th in runs scored and 25th in OPS since the All-Star break. That's why Wheeler enters this matchup as a -185 favorite.Catcher/First BaseEric Thames FD - 1B 2700 DK - 1B 4100 Opponent - CHC (Kyle Hendricks) Park - MILFD - 10.28 DK - 7.71Thames continues to be disrespected by these DFS sites and it really doesn't make any sense. Since joining the Brewers, he's done nothing but obliterated right-handed pitching. Since 2017, Thames has a...
