We do have one early game between the Kings and Knicks, but we'll ignore that and take a look at the solid 5-game slate tipping at 7. We have two games with huge expected totals and plenty of injuries to keep an eye on. Kicking things off at point guard, Damian Lillard is affordable and should have a lot of success against the Suns. He went nuts against the Thunder a couple nights ago, and he's now rested and ready to go do it again. The Suns have actually been playing really well and I think they put up a nice fight against a Blazers team that can be susceptible on defense. They still won't be able to cover Lillard, though, who is going to dice up Tyler Johnson and whatever other backups they throw at him. As long as the game is relatively close, Lillard is going to put up 50 fantasy points. Let's take a look at another pricey option with some upside. Kyrie Irving FD - $9500 DK - $9000Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 45.13 DK - 45.98 Kyrie was a full go in practice yesterday, so he should be ready to take the floor tonight. The Celtics are heading to Los Angeles to face off with a Lakers team that has finally hit the brick wall. Their playoff chances sit at 0.5% and have just as good of a shot at being in the top 5 of the lottery as they do the playoffs. Irving is a guy that always performs on the big stage and a game against LeBron with all of these antics going on could be huge. You know he’s going to have the ball in his hands every single play and the Lakers don’t have anyone to slow him down. Irving will demolish whoever is sent to cover him and will put up 50+ fantasy points if the game stays competitive. Tomas Satoransky FD - $6300 DK - $5600Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 29.18 DK - 29.43 If you're looking to save a few bucks at point guard, Tomas Satoransky is where the optimizer has lead us....

The NBA has bestowed upon us a solid six game slate with plenty of options at each and every position. Let’s kick things right off at point guard with the game we want to target most. With a 239 projected total, it’s sitting more than 10 points higher than any other game. There’s are also two teams with very concentrated fantasy numbers. We know who’s going to produce. Simmons has been insane against Westbrook, sticking a 20/14/9 line against them just a month ago. He’s one of the only point guards in basketball that can match the physicality of Westbrook and it lets him excel down low without getting pushed around. You then get to the absence of Joel Embiid and Simmons is close to a must. The offense is going to run through him every possession and he’s a guy who puts up numbers when around the ball. He’s a match-up nightmare for anyone and Russ Westbrook is no exception. Collin Sexton FD - $5000 DK - $5000Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 25.8 DK - 27.3 Collin Sexton is just far too cheap. He’s still seeing the 30+ minutes a night we need, so the opportunity is more than there. The Cavs face off with the Knicks tonight, who don’t have much of any defense to speak of. Dennis Smith Jr. is fun to watch on offense and DJ can block shots, but they’ve ranked in the bottom 10 in efficiency over the last two weeks. He's only $5k on both sites, and this is a guy who can put up 40-50 fantasy points if he gets hot. Kevin Love is definitely taking a lot of the shots, but he loves playing the 2-man game and Sexton can shoot from anywhere. He's one of the easiest plays on the slate in cash games. An interesting big tournament play: Goran Dragic. Dragon is not fully back in terms of his minutes, but he is production-wise. He put up a monstrous 27 points in just 20 minutes of court time against the Warriors. Keep an eye on his status as he could sit out, but I think...

We've got you completely covered. Charlotte Hornets at the Orlando Magic Orlando is favored by 3 in a game with a 216 total. . Welcome to NBA Thursday night. The NBA has gifted us a pretty interesting three-game slate on this lovely Valentine's Day. There are only three games to look at, but each one has its own set of challenges and there are a lot of pricey options for such a small slate. We'll kick things off in Orlando, where the Magic will host Charlotte in a game with just a 216 total. It's the lowest of the night and the game we'll likely end up with the least exposure to. It doesn't mean there aren't attractive options, though, so let's jump in and take a look at both sides. Jeremy Lamb FD - $6600 DK - $5700Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 33.5 DK - 33.92 Nicolas Batum FD - $5400 DK - $4500Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 25.36 DK - 25.92 Cody Zeller FD - $5800 DK - $4800Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 26.73 DK - 26.12 The Orlando Magic are a pretty average defense in general. They play at an average PACE and don't struggle against any one spot. With that being said, they also don't excel against any one position. They can be taken advantage of by just about anybody that's shooting their shot right and you don't need to actively avoid anyone. Jeremy Lamb has been phenomenal as of late, putting up 55 and 31 fantasy points in the last two contests. It's the first time he's gotten over 30 minutes consistently and it looks like he may be turning a corner for this third half of the season. If he once again sees the minutes, he's going to hit value in the mid-$6k's on both sites. The defense is far from focused on him and his athleticism will be enough to take advantage of either Fournier or Ross. He's the only guy I have much interest in playing in cash games from this Hornets squad. Kemba Walker is obviously in play as well, but the price makes him a lot less attractive. He's sandwiched in the mid-$10k's and...

Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $8000 DK - $7300Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 39.23 DK - 40.24 Fred Vanvleet FD - $4600 DK - $4900Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 28.94 DK - 29.52 Welcome to NBA Saturday. With the trade deadline come and gone, NBA rosters are finally settling down for the second half run. The Raptors made a big move in adding Marc Gasol in hopes to win the East, but will still have competition. Tonight, the Raptors take on the Knicks with a questionable Kawhi Leonard. If Leonard plays, Lowry is just a fine play. If he’s out, Lowry is going to get 35 minutes of high-usage basketball. He’s been great when on the floor recently and just comes down to the game staying close and him touching the ball. You also have Fred VanVleet, who will jump in and play big minutes if Kawhi is out. The Knicks are a pretty new team overall, but no signs point to them being effective on defense. The Raptors should have their way in this one and I expect Leonard to sit it out, giving a ton of opportunity elsewhere. Lowry is the number 1 option behind Leonard and has huge upside in this match-up as well as a floor over 30. You can’t go wrong with Lowry here. Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $6500 DK - $5900Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 33.96 DK - 34.96 Dennis Smith Jr. is obviously a big piece of what the Knicks believe is their future. It’s somewhat obvious after being given the reins from the start and being trusted to play huge minutes. He’s been over 35 minutes in two games straight, and has crushed these prices in each of them. He was just a 32% cash game start last night and was one of the best overall plays on the slate, pouring in 31 points from the field and 46 fantasy points overall. He’s been phenomenal on every possession and is playing like a guy who was uprooted after proving himself a year ago. Kyle Lowry is known as a good individual defender, but the Raptors struggle as a team vs point guards. DSJ is...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - 2/7/19 Welcome to NBA Thursday night! We have six games on the slate, but there is a ton of injury news on top of superstars to pay up for. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $12000 DK - $11300 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 58.38 DK - 60.8 We'll kick things off with the guy who leads this article the most, Russell Westbrook. Westbrook and Paul George have taken the league by storm this year and it seems like the first time Westbrook truly has chemistry with a teammate. He's once again averaging a triple-double this year and is essentially match-up proof at this point. They'll face off with the mess that is the Grizzlies tonight and we'll just have to hope they can keep it relatively close. The price of Westbrook is extremely high, but he's playing 35 minutes a night and has the ball in his hands every single possession. The Grizzlies played a lot faster two nights ago without Gasol and I think they'll do the same again tonight vs. a Thunder team that loves running. It's hard to look at any stats with the Grizzlies in such mayhem, but we know Westbrook is going to take advantage of every weakness and this Grizzlies defense has a ton of them. There are a few solid options to spend up on and Westbrook is one of the top three. On the other hand, this could very well be a blowout and there is a huge opportunity cost at point guard. Rajon Rondo FD - $6100 DK - $6500 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 31.3 DK - 32.29 I'm going to stay away from everyone not named LeBron James until the Lakers make a trade, but let's make an exception here. We all know Rajon Rondo is one spiteful man and he's always going to turn it up against the Celtics in Boston. He's also a lock to see the minutes with Lonzo Ball still out of the lineup. As long as we don't see another huge blowout, 30+ minutes is a lock and he could get close to 40 if the game stays close throughout. He's been paying 5x points per dollar...
