Touching on the early slate Pitchers Mike Clevinger FD 10000 DK 8700 Opponent - CHW (Ivan Nova) Park - CLEFD - 38.91 DK - 20.91 Clevinger is really the only legitimate cash game option on this early slate. Chris Archer, Adam Wainwright, and Ivan Nova all have a chance to have solid games, but none are facing a team with a 3.15 projected total. He's one of the more underrated pitchers in baseball, finishing 2018 with more than a strikeout per inning while averaging 6.25 innings per start. Now he gets to face off against one of the most K-happy lineups in baseball who also project to rank in the bottom five against right-handed pitching. He's a -174 favorite at home, giving him the best win odds of the early slate. If you must go elsewhere, Archer is interesting against the Cardinals. His strikeout pitch has been working throughout the spring and we will see if it works against the Cards here. He’s always one of the most volatile pitchers and can give it all up in a matter of minutes. Wainwright and Nova aren’t on my list, though neither are bad pitchers by any means. They’re just the weakest links on this slate and we have to target hitters on the other side as well. Personally, I’ll do my best to get 100% Clevinger. I feel he’s far safer than the field and I’m comfortable making up that salary elsewhere. Hitters Jose Ramirez FD 4400 DK 5300 Opponent - CHW (Ivan Nova) Park - CLEFD - 12.75 DK - 9.65 Carlos Santana FD 3500 DK 4400 Opponent - CHW (Ivan Nova) Park - CLEFD - 10.36 DK - 7.73 Tyler Naquin FD 2200 DK 3900 Opponent - CHW (Ivan Nova) Park - CLEFD - 8.29 DK - 6.38 None of these four pitchers are gas cans, but there are definitely some spots to target. The first of which is left-handers against Ivan Nova. Since the beginning of 2017, Nova has allowed a .360 wOBA and 5.12 xFIP to opposing lefties. He also only strikes out 4.5 batters per 9 innings and has a HR/9 rate close to 2. He is known to...

Happ FD 9300 DK 10100 Opponent - BAL (Dylan Bundy) Park - NYYFD - 41.5 DK - 22.35 Happ is not going to be the same pitcher he was last year for very much longer. He has struggled mightily in spring training, but the Yankees are expecting him to turn it around in the regular season. Vegas agrees. It has a lot to do with Dylan Bundy, but the Yankees are -355 favorites, giving you as close as it gets to a guaranteed Happ victory. He struck out over 9 batters per 9 innings against both sides of the plate in 2018 and only struggled with right-handed power. This Orioles lineups is up there with the Marlins and Giants as the worst in baseball and we'll be taking advantage of them all season long. They don't have much of a power pop and strike out over 23% of the time as a group. Happ is cheaper than both Carrasco and Corbin and has a much higher floor than both. Patrick Corbin FD 9800 DK 10000 Opponent - NYM (Zack Wheeler) Park - WSHFD - 36.4 DK - 19.76 This Mets lineup is going to underwhelm all season long, and I think we'll end up targeting them against lefties. Michael Conforto and Robinson Cano are their two best bats and both are much worse against lefties. They'll instead rely on Pete Alonso and Wilson Ramos, who are more than volatile bats. Patrick Corbin is a legitimate superstar when healthy and is probably the best number three in baseball. He struck out 11 batters per 9 innings in '18, while holding an elite 2.61 xFIP. The bottom of this order is high-upside and low-risk, with strikeouts aplenty and homers barren. If Corbin is on his game, he will go six or seven innings and could reach double-digit strikeouts. Corbin is my favorite tournament pitcher on the slate. Jon Gray FD 7900 DK 9400 Opponent - MIA (Sandy Alcantara) Park - MIAFD - 36.01 DK - 19.08 Outside of a tough outing in his last game, Jon Gray had one of the best spring trainings in the league. With a 22:1 K:BB ratio, hes obviously hitting his spots and is fully healthy. He now gets to match-up against the worst lineup in baseball in Miami. And he's in Miami! Marlins Park is one of the best pitchers ballparks in baseball and the Marlins will have...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA picks for 3/28/19 Welcome to Thursday night NBA! I know, baseball has arrived and the masses are focused elsewhere. Point guard Ben Simmons FD - $9800 DK - $8300Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 48.74 DK - 48.02 We’ll kick things off in Philadelphia with Ben Simmons. He missed last game due to an illness vs the Magic, but it seemed more precautionary than anything. He participated in practice and is a full go tonight against the Nets. He’s been playing some of his best basketball of the season as of late and now gets a match-up against the Nets, who rank 16th in the league against point guards. There isn’t any other PG like Simmons, however, who’s going to dominate this interior and put up close to a triple double. His price is high at first glance, but he comes in cheaper than most other stars and has a similar floor/ceiling in this match-up. Vegas hasn’t dropped a line on this game just yet, but I’m willing to be the total will come in pretty close to 230. Simmons is a cash game stud and I’ll have him locked into each of my lineups. Fred Vanvleet FD - $5400 DK - $4800Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 28.52 DK - 29.18 With Kawhi Leonard already announced out, his usual minutes and shots are up for grabs. We know the drill, however, so there’s no playing in the dark here. VanVleet is going to be in the starting lineup and will see well over 30 minutes. He’s always a valuable asset when on the floor and will very rarely disappoint you. He doesn’t have the highest upside, but he’s consistent and this match-up is stellar. The Knicks rank 26th in basketball against opposing shooting guards and have only been on the decline. The Raptors should take care of the Knicks with ease and Van Vleet will play his part. He’s pretty cheap on both sites and makes for a solid play across the board. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $5300 DK - $5500Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 30.07 DK - 29.64 SGA has...

I know most eyes will be far away from this slate and right onto March Madness, but I know there will be plenty of slackers that can’t help the NBA itch. We have a very solid 6-game slate on our hands with plenty of options at every position. We’ll kick things off in Charlotte, where the Hornets will host the Timberwolves. Kemba Walker draws a very friendly match-up with both Teague and Rose out, so he should take advantage before they end up switching Okogie onto him. We are hoping that eventually happens as it just means Kemba is going off. He hasn’t shot the ball well in the last couple games, but should turn that around against a Timberwolves team that allows the 9th most three-pointers with space. He has a floor well over 40 and a ceiling into the 60’s. Kemba Walker is still affordable on both sites and a phenomenal cash game and tournament play. Walker is a great option in all formats.  De'Anthony Melton FD - $3600 DK - $3900Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 22.16 DK - 21.57 Tyler Johnson has already been announced as out for tonight's game against the Pistons, so De'Anthony Melton will grab another start at point guard. He flopped last game (10 FP) against the Bulls, but excelled in the same position the game before (31 FP). He now faces a Pistons team that ranks in the middle of the road against opposing point guards and doesn't mind picking up the pace with their opponent. The Suns will do their best to force their hand and Melton should not have any issue getting to at least a fantasy point per minute. He's extremely cheap on both sites and will demolish value if given closer to 30 minutes. He's as safe as can be at a point guard position that's not as plentiful as usual. Tyus Jones FD - $5300 DK - $5400Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 24.87 DK - 24.06 With Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose out, Tyus Jones can be locked in as one of the better value plays on the night. He’s been over 24 fantasy points in four of...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Russell Westbrook FD - $11300 DK - $10900 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 51 DK - 53.53 Welcome to Thursday night NBA. The league has bestowed a solid 6-game slate upon us and there’s plenty of different options at each position. We’ll kick things off with our most popular lead-off man, Russell Westbrook. Heading many of these articles throughout the season, he hasn’t disappointed much. He’s playing the same way he has all season, but is shooting the ball better than ever. He faces off with a Pacers squad that typically troubles PGs, but Westbrook is no typical point guard. He put up 26/16/12 last year after dropping 54 points on them a year prior. I can promise you that Darren Collison and Myles Turner haven’t made many improvements since last year and Westbrook will still dominate both of them. He’s always expensive, and there’s ways to pay down on this slate. With that said, there’s also some other ways to pay up that are pretty attractive. It just depends on who you want to anchor your team. Westbrook is a guaranteed 45 fantasy points with the upside for 70 if it stays close. It's worth noting that Russ is on the second half of a back to back, but I don't think we need to concern ourselves with that much here. Collin Sexton FD - $5800 DK - $5000 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 29.43 DK - 31.26 Sexton is going crazy right now and I don’t think we’re chasing points. He’s playing a 2-man game with Kevin Love and has put up 25+ real-life points in three straight contests. He’s also passing the ball around pretty well with 12 assists in the same time frame. The Magic aren’t anything to be afraid of and his price hasn’t matches production. He’ll be one of the most popular point guards of the entire night, but rightfully so. He’s on a tear, cheap, and the position isn’t as plentiful as usual. Tyus Jones FD - $4400 DK - $4200 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 26.41 DK - 25.43 Disclaimer: make sure both Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose are out. As of right now, both are questionable, so that's why we're looking at Jones. Tyus...
