Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for DraftKings – Week 12

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for DraftKings - Week 12 Turkey time is right around the corner, but we’re not there yet and we have plenty of football to digest befofe we can move onto the turkey. Im sort of getting tired of saying this, but Alabama is really good, then there are a handfull of teams lining up to be abused by Bama in the Chip. Draftkings has been doing a better job with pricing and last week knocked it out of the part of the game selection. The pricing is still solid, but not as many excitiing games to pick through. Nevertheless were here to sift through it all, find the hidden gems, and help you structure your winning lineups. Quarterback Ian Book -Notre Dame DK 9000 Opponent Syracuse Team Total - 37 Book is back!! The savior has returned from a one-game absence and will once again lead the undefeated Irish come Saturday afternoon. This week is an extra tasty matchup against a solid, but overrated Syracuse team. Looking as this line of 10.5 and I say no way Cuse can even stay within 15. The game is being played in Yankee Stadium so geographically speaking Syracuse would operate as the home team, but it's not the cozy confines of the Carrier Dome and this team isn't the same playing elsewhere. Book is going to pick up where he left off by throwing and running for touchdowns. I'll be pairing him with Williams for cash to help hedge against running bad on the touchdown front. I'd love to tell you the total of 65 isn't enough, but I'm not sure Syracuse will be able to hold up their end of the deal. Irish big. Jamie Newman -Wake Forest DK 7100 Opponent Pittsburgh Team Total - 27 There are a few ways to go at this price point and I wouldn't blame you, but Newman is the guy for me. Taking over for the injured Sam Hartman, Newman was sensational last week. After attempting just 15 passes all year Newman chucked it up 33 times last week completing 22 of them for 297 yards and three scores. He also added 44 yards on the ground on 14 attempts. In his first action of the season against Notre Dame during week four, Newman had 73 yards and a score on eight carries. It's hard to gauge what kind of rushing production to expect given our small sample size, but what we can see looks encouraging on that front and the reason Newman is a slight tick above the other options in this price range. Vegas is setting the total at 61, which feels low, but it's probably just...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings – Week 11 – 11/10/18

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings - Week 11 - 11/10/18 We’re nearing the final stretch of the college football season with division and rivalry games heating up so sit down buckle up and enjoy the ride. Alabama looks as dominant as ever, blanking LSU 29-0. Michigan finally looks like the team I thought they were heading into the season. Texas dropped a heart-breaker to West Virginia, Oklahoma kept hopes alive, and Clemson is going to crush the souls of their fans when they actually have to play a decent team. Oklahoma runs the table to get in the playoff, only to lose 47-17 to Alabama. Michigan runs the table, beats Clemson 27-24 then loses to Alabama 34-0. You heard it here first.   Quarterback Brock Purdy -Iowa State DK 8200 Opponent Baylor Team Total - 32.75 This one is easy-peasy: Brock all day for cash. The guy is just too good. Since taking over as the starter, Brock’s lowest fantasy output was 21.7, not a bad floor. Purdy has tapered off his rushing a bit since going for 84 yards in his first start, but he’s still logging double-digit attempts so the potential is still there. Iowa State is a healthy 14 point favorite with a total of 51. Iowa State has been playing really good ball lately with four consecutive wins including wins over West Virginia, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State. The 51 feels a little low as Baylor has also been playing inspired ball after a come from behind win against Oklahoma State. The Cyclones are a three-headed monster, for the most part, with Purdy, Montgomery, and Butler accounting for the lion's share of production. As much as I like Purdy for cash he’s not really on my tournament radar. I like stacking the Cyclones for cash, but there are other options with more upside for your tournament lineups. Charlie Brewer -Baylor DK 5200 Opponent Iowa State Team Total - 18.25 At the time of this writing, it's still a little fuzzy how the playing time will be divided up, but Brewer looks to be the favorite to start after his strong relief performance last week against Oklahoma State. Brewer has been up and down most of the season splitting reps with Jalan McClendon, but has consistently been the more productive player. Brewer leads the team in rushing attempts and tied for the lead with four rushing touchdowns. Baylor will have its work cut out for them against a white-hot Iowa State team, but at just $5200 and his little bit of rushing production, he’s very close to a cash play. As I mentioned above Baylor comes into the game as 14 point...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings – Week 10

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings - Week 10 Week 10, wow this season is flying by. We have our first set of rankings and if you've been following along we really aren't surprised by the current top four. I warned Texas to be careful, but they couldn't stop the Cowboys from crushing their playoff hopes. This week, Georgia will need to get by Kentucky to keep their hopes alive and at 8pm EST we have the battle of the Titans: Bama vs LSU. I'm curious what happens to LSU if they lose. This week, Notre Dame is on the watch list. Northwestern is going to give them more trouble than people think. On the fantasy side of things, Draftkings has put together a monster of a slate with potentially multiple high-scoring games and reasonable pricing. Let's get after it!   Quarterback Eric Dungey -Syracuse DK 8400 Opponent Wake Forest Team Total - 40 Y’all have no idea much of a struggle it is to put Dungey in this coveted top spot. I have an epic run bad streak going when it comes to rostering Dungey. The guy is essentially a lock for 40 points, but weird things happen just about every time he makes his way into my lineup. The matchup and salary here are just so insanely plum I need to put my emotional concerns aside because we could be staring a 50 point week in the face. Wake Forest would allow 500 yards of offense to a high school team right now so I don't anticipate Syracuse having much trouble moving the ball. While Wake Forest has struggled mightily on defense the same cannot be said for their offense. The Demon Deacons have had success moving the ball and scoring against just about everyone not named Clemson including last week’s 56 spot against Louisville. Vegas has the total at 75, but i think that's a little light as i think could see almost 75 in the first half. Dungey’s dual threat ability will be on full display for 60 minutes come Saturday and you won't want to be late for the party. Very simply put, Dungey checks all the boxes and the matchup checks all the boxes. Way too much upside to pass on him. Nathan Elliott -North Carolina DK 6000 Opponent Georgia Tech Team Total - 28 There are a few guys I think will have a better game than Elliott, but not when we consider the price. Now, I will be very hard-pressed to get away from Dungey in the quarterback slot, but Elliott is certainly someone we should consider for our Superflex. He’s had an up and down...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings – Week 9

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings - Week 9 We’re squarely in the second half of the season and the picture of contenders is becoming more and more clear. We really only have a handful of teams realistically vying for the coveted four playoff spots. There isn’t much happening this week that will impact the current Playoff picture with only two games that have playoff implications. Texas will need to be careful at Oklahoma State and the loser between Georgia and Florida is surely out. Other than that all eyes should be on the Track Meet between 7-0 South Florida and 6-1 Houston. With the highest total on the board at 75, this should be a fun one to watch and one where we will want to have exposure. Quarterback Brock Purdy -Iowa State DK 7000 Opponent Texas Tech Team Total - 29.75 Where did this cat come from? Wholly razzle-dazzle. Purdy wasn't even on the opening two-deep for the Cyclones and suddenly has their offense looking unstoppable. Brock saw the field a total of just one time and attempted zero passes prior to week six in an upset win over Oklahoma State. Brock followed up his gem against the Cowboys with a convincing 30-14 win over the undefeated and playoff hopeful Mountaineers of West Virginia. In just two games Purdy is already the Cyclones second-leading rusher. You heard that right! In his two meaningful appearances, Purdey has rushed for 131 yards and one score to go along with his seven passing touchdowns. His salary is more than forgiving, but there is loads of upside with his dual-threat abilities. Now with a week off to prepare and playing in front of the home crowd?. Cyclones roll. D'Eriq King -Houston DK 10200 Opponent South Florida Team Total - 44.25 King makes for an extremely interesting play Saturday. As the season progress pricing becomes more and more accurate and the punts are further and fewer between. This makes rostering a guy in this salary range difficult. At first glance, I passed right over King as I feel there are multiple players that offer similar or better value price considered. Then you look at the eye-popping total of 75 which is considerably higher than the other games on the slate. South Florida has had all kinds of issues on the defensive side of the ball the past couple weeks and so facing a guy like King is not exactly ideal for the Bulls. King does it all for the Cougars and he should be a major part of scoring on Saturday. His salary will surely create some difficult and risky decisions further down your roster, but in...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings – Week 7

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings - Week 7 We’re essentially at the halfway point and if the playoffs started today I would have Bama, Georgia, Notre Dame, and then it starts to get cloudy. Texas held off the Sooners' furious comeback to put themselves in the conversation. Ohio State moved to 6-0 with a comfortable win over Indiana. Clemson ran for over 450 yards against Wake Forest and West Virginia notched another double-digit win. We have quite a few teams in the top 25 with dangerous matchups this week: Washington at Oregon, UCF at Memphis, West Virginia at Iowa State, Wisconsin at Michigan and of course Georgia at LSU. That’s quite a bit going on there for several teams with playoff hopes.   Quarterback McKenzie Milton -UCF DK 10400 Opponent Memphis Team Total - 40.5 This is the first week I feel Draftkings really got the pricing correct throughout the entire slate. Milton comes in as the most expensive quarterback and at first glance, I felt there was better value further down the salary scale. That said, when we look at this matchup with Memphis, which has a generous total of 78, you can really start to make the argument that Milton is still the best place to dump salary. Milton averages 35 fantasy points per game with games of 41.8, 49.2, and 53.3 and none of his games this season have had as favorable a game script as this Saturday. McKenzie truly is the complete fantasy package we look for in a quarterback. He is offensive focal point and with dual-threat abilities, the floor is always high. Memphis has struggled on defense all season long, but haven’t had many issues scoring points. The reality is 78 may not be enough here and Milton could put together his best statistical game of the season. The salary is hard to stomach and will force you into finding some punt options, but it’s hard to argue with 5x potential at this salary. Skylar Thompson -Kansas State DK 5600 Opponent Oklahoma State Team Total - 27.75 On the other end of the salary spectrum is Skylar Thompson. It’s hard to feel safe rostering Thompson for your cash lineups, but the data suggests he’s the correct play at just $5600. This spot started with the same two sentences last week on Peyton Ramsey and boy did he deliver. Alex Delton missed last week’s game due to injury leaving all the snaps to Thompson. There is no word if Delton will be back so we need to keep an eye on the news, but Thompson is the better signal caller and should see an overwhelming majority of snaps even...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings – Week 6

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings - Week 6 We’re almost at the halfway point of the season if you can believe that. We know Alabama is dominating and would likely be double-digit favorites if the Championship game were to be played tomorrow. Georgia looks like the second-best team in the nation, again. And we think Notre Dame may have found their quarterback. But much of the college landscape is still up in the air. Week Six is highlighted by the Red River Rivalry where Oklahoma will look to keep their playoff hopes alive against Texas. This will be their 113th meeting dating back to October 10, 1900. Saturday caps off with Notre Dame taking on Virginia Tech in what could be a statement game for Ian Book and the Irish. Now let’s get down to business and break this slate down.   Quarterback Kyler Murray -Oklahoma DK 10200 Opponent Texas There are a few guys worthy of this top spot, but the nod goes to Murray. Many people will play Dwayne Haskins and I’ll certainly have my own exposure, but Murray runs whereas Haskins does not. At only $400 more I feel it’s worth the added safety of rushing production for the small bump in salary. Ohio State is projected for more points, but with such a high line and so many weapons, Haskins could get burned by early rushing touchdowns. As good as Oklahoma is, the production is largely dominated by Murray. The loss of Anderson has their run game in shuffle mode leaving Murray and the passing game to do much of the damage. So, even with a less favorable game script compared to Haskins I still prefer the production share advantage for Murray. Again, it’s close, real close. The Sooners are currently eight-point favorites with a total sitting right at 60, which feels a little low, but it is an emotional game so I can see it starting off slow offensively. Texas has shown a smidge of defensive swagger recently, but they haven’t faced an offense anywhere near as explosive as Oklahoma. This is going to be a stiff test for the Longhorns. On the flip side, Texas has shown a decent proficiency in the passing game and the Sooners have shown some susceptibility at defending the pass. Hence why the total feels a little low to me. I will certainly have exposure to multiple quarterbacks on the slate but in terms of cash, it's really hard to argue against Murray. Peyton Ramsey -Indiana DK 4900 Opponent Ohio State On the opposite end of the salary spectrum is Peyton Ramsey. It’s hard to feel safe rostering Ramsey for your cash...
