Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 4/4/17

Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it!

Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight.

By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below!

What We Know

Jusuf Nurkic remains out for the rest of the regular season with a tibia fracture

Nurkic has been out for a couple games, but we still don't really know what to look for. Sure, Noah Vonleh and Meyers Leonard will see most of the minutes. They are both interesting plays, but not so much against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz interior. Lillard and McCollum also see a few more shots and are excellent plays tonight in tournaments.

Dirk Nowitzki, Seth Curry and Wes Matthews will not play against the Kings

Dirk has no reason to suit up and he'll likely sit out for the rest of the year. Nerlens Noel becomes one of the top plays on the slate and I love him against the Kings. Dwight Powell also has upside, but we have seen him disappoint plenty of times in spots just as good. With Barnes also questionable, the wings could be pretty bad. Manny Harris and Dorian Finney-Smith should both get substantial minutes if Barnes is ruled out.

Still out - Derrick Rose, Robert Covington, George Hill, Will Barton, Malcolm Brogdon

What We're Waiting to Know

Marc Gasol, Jamychal Green, and Tony Allen are all questionable against the Spurs

Gasol and Green have been out for a few games, so we know what happens if they miss. Zach Randolph and Brandan Wright are both interesting plays in cash and tournaments. If Allen is out, I think Vince Carter and James Ennis see secured minutes. I'm willing to play either in the right tournament.

Harrison Barnes is questionable to play for rest purposes

The Mavs have no incentive to win, so it makes sense giving Barnes a game off if he's tired. With Seth Curry and Wes Matthews already ruled out, we may see Manny Harris and Dorian Finney-Smith get big minutes. They are both interesting plays against a Kings team who doesn't play much defense.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

LeBron James

LeBron and the Cavs are likely turning a corner in the year and getting prepared for the playoffs. I expect any team in the way to get blown out and that includes the Magic. The Magic have a weak defensive interior and LBJ will have no problem getting to the rack. I expect Aaron Gordon to see most of the time on James, as he's the only one who can stay with him athletically. Still, he doesn't have a chance with fundamentals. LeBron is going to continue having great games as the regular season winds down and he starts getting his legs ready for the playoff run. James is safe in both cash and tournaments.

Timothe Luwawu

With a lot of value on the slate, I wouldn't call Luwawu-Cabarrot a must play. He is a great play though, facing off with the Nets in what figures to be one of the best DFS games of the night. DFS players may be the only one tuning in for this one, as the two worst teams in the league will face off. The Nets play fast and Luwawu has been a big scorer lately. I like Luwawu in both cash and tournaments. He will see 32 minutes and shoot plenty.
