FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 6/11/21 The last few days of the NBA Playoffs have been bizarre. Wednesday night was blowout city with Phoenix destroying Denver, and then Thursday's games were all over the place. We should have some competitive games here, though, with both matchups having 1.5-point spreads. That means it's essentially a coin flip, and I honestly don't really have an opinion on who will win those games. I do have some opinions on who I like for DFS, though, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9700 DK - $9300 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 49.21 DK - 53.74 Atlanta has been one of the biggest surprises in this postseason, and Trae is a major reason why. This young point guard has taken his game to another level, scoring at least 41 DraftKings points in all seven postseason games he's played. That has given him a 46-point average in these playoffs, some of the best fantasy production from any player in the league. That has earned him this $9,500 price tag, and there are only a couple of guys who have the same 40-point floor as Young. Facing Philly sounds tough, but Young averages 46.2 fantasy points per game in his four meetings this season. Chris Paul FD - $8200 DK - $7100 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 32.66 DK - 33.03 We were pretty concerned about Paul's health this time last week, but the Game 2 gem that CP3 posted put all of that doubt in the garbage. The future Hall-of-Famer collected 17 points, five rebounds, and 15 assists in that spectacular performance and did not commit a turnover. That's an amazing line, and it makes it hard to understand why he's only $7,100 0n DraftKings. It was actually his second-straight game in this series with at least 49 fantasy points, and he should have no problem duplicating that against this dismantled Denver defense. If he does reach that total, CP3 will be in every winning lineup out there. Facundo Campazzo has been sneaky good for Denver throughout the postseason and shouldn't be forgotten. Shooting Guard Devin Booker FD - $8200 DK -...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 6/8/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 6/8/21 The first round of the playoffs was awesome, and we expect an even better second-round. One of those series is getting kicked off here, with Utah hosting Los Angeles. The other matchup on this slate is the Philly-Atlanta game, with the Hawks taking a 1-0 series lead into that Game 2. That means Philly should leave it all on the line here because not many teams have gone down 0-2 at home and prevailed. In any case, there's a lot to talk about from a DFS perspective, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $8600 DK - $8100 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 43.88 DK - 43.53 Simmons has been a regular in this section throughout the postseason, and it's no surprise when you look at his statistics. The giant point guard has scored at least 35 DraftKings points in every game of this postseason, averaging 15.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 9.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. That stat-stuffing ability makes him even more enticing in a matchup like this, with the Hawks ranked 22nd in defensive efficiency in the regular season. That certainly appeared to be the case in Game 1, with Sim dropping 46 fantasy points despite taking just seven shots. That makes it hard to believe he's barely cracking $8K, especially on such a short slate. Reggie Jackson FD - $4800 DK - $5400 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 29.18 DK - 30.5 It was a bold move to exile Patrick Beverley from the rotation and ride R-Jax as the starter, but it has definitely been the right move. The talented guard scored at least 21 DraftKings points in the final six games of the Dallas series, averaging nearly 30 fantasy points per game. That's a stupendous total from a guy sitting around $5,000, and one has to believe he'll continue it with his 32-minute average in that same stretch. Utah is definitely a tough matchup, but he'll need to play big minutes to oppose dangerous guards like Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley. Trae Young has been one of the best players in these playoffs and should continue...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Sunday 6/6/21

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Sunday 6/6/21 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Corbin Burnes FD - P 11000 DK - RP 11000 Opponent - ARI (Caleb Smith) Park - MILFD - 43.43 DK - 23.85 Burnes has some of the best peripherals you’ll ever see for a starting pitcher and has been absolutely dominant when on the mound this season. In his 52 innings, he’s struck out a whopping 41% of the batters he’s face and walked only 3.5%. This is just ridiculous and has him at a 11.6:1 K:BB ratio. He’s rocking a minuscule 1.83 xFIP which is about as low as you’ll ever see. On Sunday, he opens as a -233 home favorite against the Arizona Diamondbacks who rank as a below-average offense on the season. Burnes is a very tough fade here considering the peripherals and win expectation, making him the best play on the slate. Dylan Cease FD - P 7600 DK - SP 9400 Opponent - DET (Jose Urena) Park - CHWFD - 37.49 DK - 19.79 Cease isn’t as good as Burnes but has put together a solid season so far especially in the strikeout department. He has an 11.2 K/9 rate which is a dramatic improvement over his first few seasons in the majors. He’s throwing his fastball a bit more this year than last and the results have been good. His one issue is the walk rate making the ability to go longer in games a problem. But he’s a -210 home favorite against the Tigers who rank 26th as a team in offense this year. Catcher/First Base Rhys Hoskins FD - 1B 3500 DK - 1B 4800 Opponent - WSH (Undecided) Park - PHIFD - 14.18 DK - 10.42 The Nationals haven’t decided who is going to pitch for them on Sunday and that’s usually a good sign for opposing hitters. Hoskins isn’t as patient this season with an 8% walk rate that’s about half of what he’s done in the past. But the power is there with 12 home runs through his first 232 plate appearances and a solid .850 OPS. He should be no lower than the cleanup spot for the Phillies depending on who they end up facing here. Carlos Santana FD - 1B 3000 DK - 1B 4100 Opponent - MIN (Undecided) Park - KCFD - 12.15 DK - 9.04 Like Hoskins and the Phillies, The Royals face an undecided pitcher on the Twins for Sunday. Santana is one...

Mavericks (6) vs. Clippers (-6) This has been one of the best first-round series you could ever hope to see and fittingly it’s gone to Game 7. From a DFS perspective, it’s a very tough fade considering the number of minutes the superstars are going to play as long as it stays close. Let’s take a look. Kawhi Leonard FD - $10600 DK - $9900Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 53.24 DK - 53.89 Kawhi saved his best game of the series for Game 6 when the Clippers faced elimination. He dropped 45 points including key baskets near the end that put them over the top. For the series, he’s averaging 33 points, 7.5 rebounds, and three blocks+steals. He’s a favorite to play 43+ minutes if the game is close. There’s no reason to take their foot off the gas and he was able to go a ton last game even guarding Luka for long stretches. Paul George FD - $9400 DK - $9000Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 52.41 DK - 55.26 Paul George played all but two minutes in Game 6 and that could be the case again for him in this elimination game. His usage rate wasn’t all that high considering the amount of run he got, but he did score 20 points on 15 shots. The 13 rebounds helped the fantasy line a ton and you really just can’t fade him here on either site considering how much he’s projected to play. Reggie Jackson FD - $5400 DK - $5400Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 29.34 DK - 30.95 What a game he had last time out and the price hasn’t moved all that much. Jackson was second on the team with 25 points and was one of the main reasons they were able to pull this one out in Dallas. He also grabbed nine rebounds and added four assists. The middle tier pricing isn’t reflective of how much he’s been playing and if they are going to continue to rely on his scoring then he’s basically a must-play at these prices. You can basically think about playing the whole Clippers starting five with Marcus Morris Sr. (FD $5000 DK $4900) and...

You heard that correctly: none of the available point guards are projected for 5x+ points per dollar. Let's break down your options with their various strengths and weaknesses. Damian Lillard: Put up a performance like nobody has ever seen in game 5, shooting an unfathomable 17/24 en route to 55 points in the double overtime affair. But he's $11k, and he averaged just 4x points per dollar on these prices in the regular season. Math suggests he won't replicate his career performance, and any regression at all makes him a non-starter. Chris Paul: No way. Not if he can still play just 25 minutes. If he sits for some reason you can consider Cameron Payne, but Payne is unplayable if Paul is starting. Dennis Schroder: Totally playable on tonight's unfortunate slate of point guards, but you can't be psyched about the game 5 no-show (0-9 from the field!). Still, you have to roster someone at point guard, and we can at least be pretty confident Schroder will have the ball in his hands. If Davis sits, Schroder becomes a lot more appealing. You can honestly consider Alex Caruso if you feel better about punting away point guard. The Nuggets: Campazzo got run off the floor in game 5, yielding to Monte Morris. Morris was quite good, but let's remember that he had 41 minutes to provide his fantasy numbers. If Morris gets the start he's an auto-play for DFS purposes. Coming off the bench, he brings a fair bit of risk. Given that every point guard carries risk, playing Morris might be worth it. Shooting Guard Devin Booker FD - $8400 DK - $8200 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 47.27 DK - 49.37 With CP3 hobbled, Booker is running the offense a lot more than he was during the regular season, and he's certainly been up to the task. He put up a fantastic 30/7/5 line in the game 5 blowout, and you get the feeling that there was room for more if the Lakers managed to keep it close. The Lakers just don't have a defensive answer for...
